Horrible pharmacy. Rude, and incompetent. Seems like they hired the staff from people fired from McDonalds.

The doctor I have here is a very nice woman, no offense to her, but this place ( aside from the pharmacy downstairs ) is administratively in the toilet. Communication and referrals are attempted but end up being nonexistent. When I leave the area, I will look for a clinic with some more of the kinks worked out, so to speak. No offense to some of the gems that work here, it's just a hassle getting much done here. Maybe their Glen Burnie location is better! :) read more

Scheduling bottlenecks destroy the otherwise decent service. The dentists and hygenicists are decent but there is a disconnect between timing that is necessary amd scheduling that os available. A sepsis abscess toothache will get seen in a month when it should be 24 hrs. read more

I have been coming to this clinic for about six months for gynecology, mental health, and general check-ups. The clinic itself is very good... clean, organized, and efficient. Staff is usually helpful and appointments are fast. However, I am very upset with my experience with Dr. Sergey Stomin. After requesting my medical records for a legal process, I found several incorrect informations written about me. Some things were never clearly asked or confirmed during my visits. Medical records are serious documents, and mistakes like this can cause real problems. I also feel there may be a communication issue, because sometimes I am not sure if I am fully understood during appointments. This makes me worried about how my information is being recorded. The clinic is great overall, but documentation and communication need to be more careful and accurate. read more

I deeply regret not reading these reviews before getting involved with them. They have wasted so much of my time. I called them many many months ago explicitly telling them I needed a cleaning. After over 6 mos i have my appointment and they completely bait and switch me, no cleaning, barely an exam where all they told me was i need braces. Very suspicious. I then had a follow up scheduled for a couple of months later and they called me multiple times to move the time of my appointment. Unprofessional, and very poor patient experience. I have an appointment on April 4. My Dr. canceled my appointment on Sunday, April 2. The receptionist did not let me know or her assistant until the day of my appointment after 12 PM that day and left a voicemail. Did not contact me personally over the phone. Rushing out to my appointment I did not receive that voicemail. When I got to the center walked up to the receptionist who was rude and said your appointment was canceled for today. DO NOT COME HERE for dental! They do not care about our people. I had a horrible experience with your receptionist (specifically Adrian), today. I was texted yesterday (9/22) at 7am to confirm my appointment. I am a full time employee that is out of town at a professional conference and had limited access to my phone. I was called by Chase Brexton the same day approximately at 10am to inform me my appointment was cancelled and that I need to reschedule. After contacting your receptionist office, Adrian first informed me that the policy established by the directors states appointments must be confirmed 24 hours prior to the appointment or they will be canceled. Then another receptionist claimed it was changed and it needed to be confirmed 48 hours in advance. These two receptionist were in the same office at the same time when my calls came through and gave me two different responses. I was told it was my fault the appointment was canceled and that because I did not respond to the text message delivered at 7am yesterday for my Monday (9/26) appointment, my appointment was canceled immediately and now is unavailable. They then offered me another appointment on October 21. I work full time as an educator in the public school system and took time off from my job to make my appointment on Monday. I do not have the flexibility or luxury to take off work for these things and planned accordingly. I did my part, but the Chase Brexton staff and policy for appointments do not care about me as a person or my health needs. My appointment was scheduled in May of 2022. I've heard NOTHING from the dental office since then, not a reminder, or a notice that confirmations will be coming out via text or anything that would give me time to plan to respond. Additionally, the response window from the time the text was sent out until the time the appointment was canceled was not at all indicative of Chase Brexton mission and vision to provide quality health care to our community. What if I was experiencing homelessness or having financial struggles and my phone service was to be interrupted. Would I not be able to confirm my appointment then and what does that say about your policies and procedures? The receptionists were rude, non-empathetic, and were not solution oriented. It's always something with the dental office. I was 12 minutes late and they didn't call me to the back until after waiting 30 minutes just to tell me to reschedule because I was late. These appointments are literally months in between due to lack of availability. This place is ghetto and it's always new anttics each visit. I recommend chase Brexton Mt. Vernon Center because my experience with this medical center is verlllllllllllll qy positive because they care about you as an individual as well as your health care and even things that help you with life situations for example the social workers there will put all of their efforts into helping you with your rent payments and also utilities if you're having trouble paying your bills. They even have a food pantry and gift cards for food and other things you may need help getting. The gift cards are $25.00 dollars and a lot of people might say $25.00 dollars is not enough or not much but just think about, anything you get is worth it because it's more than you actually have and every little bit helps when you don't have anything. The staff at Mt. Vernon are very caring people who will work hard for anything that you need help with and if they can't help you then they will find other resources that can help you. read more

First, asked for a psychologist (by walk-in as advertised) in 2014 by saying "I need a psychologist.", that instantly (same or next day even if not an emergency just had to ask) worked in Montreal but does not translate to Maryland very well, from my experience. Told to call the automated hotline after being told "We're not able to just make appointments". Then 2016 scheduled and confirmed a psychologist appointment, arrived to find meeting cancelled (?) during my hour trip to the psychologist appointment. Quietly cried tears by the bathroom C.C.T.V. after learning about the lack of scheduled appointment as planned, and suddenly multiple psychologists were free. Finally 2017 met a Psychotherapist, who pseudoacknowledged the history of the institution not encouraging Psychologists and kept intelligently reminding me "I'm not a Psychologist." Awful. Just awful. I had high hopes in scheduling my medical and dental appointments here. The dental "cleaning" I received was over in literally 15 minutes. I had three appointments in the past year for dental services and never met a dentist - only a hygienist. For medical, I had multiple instances where my appointments were cancelled by them. Trying to get prescriptions refilled was a nightmare. Expect having to make multiple calls. Forget trying to speak with your "doctor" (really a nurse practitioner) - they don't return phone calls. If you are indigent and don't have many choices when it comes to healthcare, I'm sure this facility is great. But if you have insurance and can choose your provider, do yourself a favor and choose somewhere else. read more

I Was given a 3pm dentist appointment and I arrived on time. When greeted by front desk reception I was told that I needed to provide insurance verification because my medical card was not the correct card . After 15-20mins of making phone calls to gather info needed I provided the necessary information to the receptionist who then in return told me that I could not be seen anymore because the dentist is now refusing to see me because he's in admin time (whatever that means). After explaining to the receptionist that I had traveled over 40mins to arrive for the appointment on time and that I was never given a courtesy call to inform me about the additional needed insurance information I was still refused care and turned away at 325pm. This was such an awful patient experience and I hope no one ever goes thru such ridiculousness and non caring attitude by a dentist and dental office. Luckily this was a routine visit for me and not a dental emergency because if so I would have been SOL. I have private insurance and can go elsewhere but I specifically chose this office because I thought they provided adequate friendly service. However after this I will take my business elsewhere to a dentist office that actually cares. I feel sorry for those individuals in the Baltimore communities or the elderly or vulnerable individuals that actually have to deal with and accept such poor and ridiculous customer service. read more

The guy who manages the desk at the dentistry center on the 6th floor is an absolute lazy, uneducated, rude and unfocused twenty something. Was on the phone with his friend while I asked questions, refused to check my insurance or forgot to verify insurance so I came to appointment and he told me, after the 15 min window they have now - you won't be seen after 1215 if your apt was at 12 EVEN IF IT IS THE OFFICES FAULT- anyway he told me after looking at my insurance card I do t know that you have insurance, then wouldn't call the number on the back. I was furious that I wasted my time. Also it's chocked full of impoverished patients & employees. Sad to say don't waste you time, money or energy going to this dentistry. I'm happy with the care I've received at Chase Brexton so far. First I was referred to Dr. O'Connor when I needed a new dentist, and now I go there for primary care. I have had two insurance plans (one Medicaid plan) and there were never issues submitting claims. While they are an extremely busy clinic, I have never felt that any visits were rushed. The dental hygienist and medical assistants were great, too. I did need to be a little persistent once when there was a miscommunication between their office and the lab across the street, but overall it's not really different from any other office that I've experienced. It's definitely a clinic environment, but a clean and modern one (they have been undergoing renovations for the past couple of years). Also, I have seen the way they treat patients who walk in saying they're uninsured and need to see a doctor. There may be a couple of people in there with bad attitudes, but most of the staff are compassionate and helpful. A great resource in Baltimore. read more

If it weren't for having really liked my doctor, and the inclusive nature of their services and facility, this would've been 1-star. I played a 3 strikes rule with this place. - Filled out paperwork to get my medical history from previous doctor. I get a letter months later that there was an error and they couldn't do it, so I'd have to come in to fill it out again. - They did not send out notifications when the parking garage was being worked on--I don't know my way around downtown that well, so I couldn't find the temporary parking garage they indicated. I had been 20 minutes early, but this confusion made me late, so I had to wait 3-4 hours until my doctor had a bit of time to work me in. - As a returning patient, I had to wait over 2 months for an appointment...not a big deal. But then my doctor had to go on maternity leave early, and they rescheduled me with another doctor for almost another 2 months later. So it wasn't my fault, and I have to wait almost double the time? I got a bill in the mail for services performed a year and a half ago. I already paid my bill. I went there because I was told consultations were free for low income people. They charged me $100 cash right off the bat which I paid. Now a year and a half later they're sending me another bill? If I dig far enough I can produce an invoice stating that my balance is zero because I had them send that to me just in case something like this happened. The chase brexton health services are great but regardless if the pharmacy tells you it'll be ready, often it isn't and you will wait. So bring extra patience and expect to wait, it'll be a better experience. Hopefully the pharmacy will up it's game to match the awesome services they offer upstairs. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE! Unfortunately I've been a patient here for over a decade in that time I've seen the level of professionalism and customer service go down hill! As a patient I'm NOT happy here but stuck because it's the only place I can go for specific services. However I've had too many occurrences regarding issues related to billing , medications being ready when they're supposed to be , several run ins with rude employees , NO therapists , PCPs are over run with clients , you can't be late but have to wait 20-30 mins for the doctor to see you , creepy security guards etc.! It's just lunacy trying to navigate Chase Brexton as a patient ! If I could give zero stars I would. I'm currently having to have bloodwork done AGAIN after having a doctors appointment barely a month ago all because my prescription continuances weren't put through. Have been a patient here for 7 years. The new facility is amazing! My provider is Jill Crank, who is absolutely fantastic. I know another reviewer mentioned turnover, which may be the case, but I can only speak from my experience and Jill has been my provider the entire time I have been a patient. The reception staff can be hit or miss, for sure, but it has never been anything unbearable. The mission, facility, and Jill all make up for any small front desk annoyances! read more

Every time I come in to pick up my prescription it's a complete disaster. The pharmacy and the doctors up stairs have no idea how to communicate with each other. Last month I had to wait 3 weeks for one of my prescriptions to get refilled, causing me physical discomfort. No one there seems to care about doing their jobs competently. read more

Had to wait 1 hr 20 minutes to be seen for an appointment (not a walk-in!). Later my provider had difficulty interpreting my test results. They also left results for me in a voicemail, which I think is inappropriate. When I switched providers, I completed the paperwork to have everything faxed to the new practice and Chase Brexton STILL had not completed the request 3 weeks later. I had to follow up to make sure my records were sent. The provider I saw was nice in person, but my goodness this was a terrible healthcare experience. Will not be going back. read more
