Not sure if they provide clubs if you don't have them. They showed us how to use the system and set us up for a course. We opted to play a European course, St Andrew Old Course. I was in the long grass often. The system was easy to use. Hint, if you want to hit from forward tees, you have to set that up before you start the game. I was playing from the guys tees which put me at a huge disadvantage. You can bring in your own beers and snacks if you choose. They do have water but no other refreshments. We had a great time. Our two hours went fast. Will definitely be back.

Barrier Free Golfing is a non-profit organization, and they are working on creating an adaptive golf program. They have (2) Verta Cat carts which are all-terrain mobile rider carts that will elevate someone into a standing position to golf. The require notification when you book a tee time that you will need this so they can prepare it. We went on a holiday morning and were very happy to know that we were able to play a round even as a group of 2 (Fun fact, lots of courses usually pair you up to make 4). We paid about $22/person and chose to walk the course with our bags. You do have the option of getting a pushcart for $4/person. They also have one of the biggest putting courses I have seen so far at about 30,000 sqft and that runs you about $5.00. We saw lots of families using it. Overall, it was a beautiful and serene course. I enjoyed the great morning walk (7,000 steps before 10a, I'm all in) and the layout made the pace of the game pleasant. I can't wait to play again real soon, making sure to work on my short game on the putting course!

There were a few people in front of me, but the pace of play was fantastic with minimal waiting. No one can complain about 18 holes in under 3 hours! The course is looking better and better every year. All of the bunkers have new sand in them which I made sure to try out four different times to have a thorough review ;). The greens rolled true and had decent speed. There are a few unique holes on this course that require some strategy and shot making to do well. It definitely isn't wide open and there is a lot of potential to lose balls. There are also a few holes that are lined with houses on one side or the other. The typically don't come into play unless you hit a very poor shot. If you are a decent golfer, this is a really fun course. If you have trouble getting the ball in the air regularly, this would be very very frustrating. The only negative is that the bugs were bad. I would suggest taking some bug spray with you. There were two holes on the front nine that are quite damp, and I thought I was going to be carried away by the mosquitoes. The rest of the course were still buggy but tolerable. It may have been due to it still being relatively early and I was walking making me an easy meal.

There's not a lot of hazards so play is fast. Definitely 4 hours or less. All the carts have GPS and they are well maintained. You can order food at the turn because the cart brings up the menu on hole 7. Very cool! The staff here is very friendly. The food is excellent with great brats and hot dogs. There's also an Irish pub that I didn't check out but will next time.

Then another guy working with Craig grabs my putter without knowing if it needs weight and where it might need them grabs a super stroke 75g weight I did have a super stroke grip. This guy gorilla screws it into my grip I said hey did you even weight the putter yet? The guys says oh yeah we gotta do that first right. Neither one could get the weight out it was in there so tight so they cut the grip off! Craig went to pick out another of the same I had already had one in my hand for him but Craig insisted on using the one he grabbed. Kinda funny cause it turned out it was a FAKE Super Stroke grip! the 3.0 xl are exactly 13.75 in length this one was much shorter. I'll never go back there very poor customer service it was even a slow day no one in the store.

It is a fantastic area for kids. With playgrounds, a splash pad, and fishing allowed by the DNR it is a great place for first-time fishing experiences. The lake has crappies, bluegill, walleye, and largemouth bass. It is also ice-skating available in the winter months. The landscaping is beautiful. They have flower gardens and an awesome boardwalk that lights up at night. It's a stunning sight. The fun continues with a beach that has lifeguards on duty from 1 PM - 7 PM during the season in addition to your required supervision. The concession stand and restrooms are available from Memorial Day to October. a beach. Planning a party? The picnic shelters are available to rent for an affordable cost. You can rent a time block of 9 AM - 3 PM or 4 PM - 10 PM. Speaking of renting.. paddle boats and paddle boards are also available for 30 minutes at a time. There are many monuments around the park to teach about the brick-making in Chaska and the history of the local fire firefighters. It is so important to see brave heroes being memorialized and remembered here.

This is an amazing place to spend a day or extended afternoon in the twin cities. We saw the setup for a wedding while we were there and it was breathtaking. The small gardens near the front are beautiful, but it's a true feat to walk (or drive) the three mile walk and to see the entirety of the gardens. There's a fun (and quite difficult) maze, a sculpture garden, many different tree and flower displays, shrub displays, and way more! We haven't had the chance to check out the farm that's on the property, but are really looking forward to it! This is a great place to spend a day with energetic kiddos, or to just lose yourself in nature for a little while. And each month something new is in bloom, so there's always new to see and do!
