My game pretty much sucked today but the greens of the grasses, the changing color of the trees, the sand and water, and being with my family made it worth it. There was a roaming cart and a grill at the turn. The three some before us were walking and we were waiting on them often but they offered to let us play through then we flew. Easy ride from the Twin Cities area. Not super busy. Friendly staff and beautiful course. Nice Friday afternoon.

The staff we interacted with were very helpful, there were a large number of golf carts & hand carts for rental. Even though it looked like a lot of spots available, it was so busy at the time I was ready to go that I needed to wait for someone to leave. Also, someone almost took a spot nearby that was occupied when that person went to buy another bucket of balls -- even with their golf bag still on the grass at their spot!

The first scock was a evening 9 with YOC costing 65 dollars. We played because it's important for his development... but to get stopped at 8 o'clock being told the 7th hole was our last was the nail in the coffin. We were playing with no one ahead of us and less then 10 minutes a hole. I'm extremely disappointed and will be spreading the word in my community about this. Misguided management and goals or maybe just teen age staff making sure they close up early. I overpaid for 9 and got 7, with 45 minutes of sun left. Garbage!

I walked 18 holes on a Friday morning early. I didn't have a tee time since I was a single, but…read morewas able to tee off right away. There were a few people in front of me, but the pace of play was fantastic with minimal waiting. No one can complain about 18 holes in under 3 hours! The course is looking better and better every year. All of the bunkers have new sand in them which I made sure to try out four different times to have a thorough review ;). The greens rolled true and had decent speed. There are a few unique holes on this course that require some strategy and shot making to do well. It definitely isn't wide open and there is a lot of potential to lose balls. There are also a few holes that are lined with houses on one side or the other. The typically don't come into play unless you hit a very poor shot. If you are a decent golfer, this is a really fun course. If you have trouble getting the ball in the air regularly, this would be very very frustrating. The only negative is that the bugs were bad. I would suggest taking some bug spray with you. There were two holes on the front nine that are quite damp, and I thought I was going to be carried away by the mosquitoes. The rest of the course were still buggy but tolerable. It may have been due to it still being relatively early and I was walking making me an easy meal.
