Elfie Wagner saw me for a pain in the abdomen. She listened to all my symptoms, reviewed medical history & past tests & checked me up. This was all within a few hours of when the pain began. Despite the terrible reviews, I really tried to give this practice a fair chance but was left so disappointed. The physicians themselves are okay. Initially, I saw Dr. Resciniti for different symptoms I was experiencing and felt heard. Unfortunately, by my second appointment, I got the response that my bloodwork was fine and I felt very dismissed. After several months (&visits) and several of their physicians/nurse practitioners just offering to do the same tests/same bloodwork, I decided to get a second opinion. Found out I had celiac after just one round of bloodwork from another doctor. I had all of the symptoms of celiac, yet they failed to test for it, let alone even mention it as a possibility, or even ASK about my diet. I spent THOUSANDS of dollars on out of pocket expenses and 13 months of suffering because of that one oversight. More importantly, they wanted to prescribe me medication for anxiety that was unnecessary, because they misdiagnosed me. Also tried to schedule sick visits on numerous occasions since and found that they couldn't even do that for me, EVER, leaving me to visit urgent care centers and incur more out-of-pocket expenses. The most recent attempt to make a visit was my last straw. After calling 4 times, I finally got through to someone and asked to make an appointment. Their response was "We have one doctor in the office and no appointments, sorry." Don't waste your time or money here. read more

NEVER will I ever even attempt to call this place again. I wanted to schedule a physical, so I called to get it scheduled. I know physicals have to be scheduled pretty far in advanced, so I was expecting it. However, the woman on the phone simply said (in an extremely nasty tone) "Well, it's not going to be until March." It's all about the almighty dollar. I remember having a migraine and Dr tribuna calling me back within the hour. I'm suffering from pretty bad depression and it's been two days he hasn't called me back yet.. after 25 years all I can say is shame on you. I suffered a catastrophic spinal injury, antidepressants help with my spinal pain and muscular skeletal. But who gives a s*** about that it's not them after all is it. This is how they treat me making me call every month for a refill on my antidepressant. To the point I stopped taking it and now I'm in a bad spot. I call for a one month script begging and they won't do it I got to see the doctor. I understand rules . Believe me I follow rules. He should have wrote the script for me for the year to begin with. But they could have given me one refill for one month. I've been sitting home crying hysterically feeling desperate for 2 days thank you so much . Oh they had me talk to their psychologist who's seems to be very young. He kept asking me the same questions because he can't pay attention. Now I have $1,000 bill. thank you. Even though I read about lack of response and hold time, I attempted to make an appointment for my son as a new patient last week since they are the only practice in town who takes our insurance. Yes, I was on hold for over 15 min. before I finally decided to leave a detailed message about a new patient appt. Never received a call back, and I find it hard to believe that at 11am on a Thursday, that there was not a single person available to take a phone call, even if I had to be on hold for 5 minutes. I got the distinct feeling they never actually answer the phone but that all calls simply go into the recorded hold message. Will no longer waste my time. read more

The Drs. are great. I have worked with both Dr. Ocasio and Dr. Resciniti. They are excellent! But the front desk is horrible. Getting an appointment is hard. Sometimes getting someone to answer the phone or just ask a question is difficult. I have made an appointment only for them to say I did not. If you are a patient person, the Drs are worth the wait, I just know that when I call, I will have to wait. read more

I was happy with my Dr. but am frustrated by the lack of responsiveness when it comes to making appointments. I recently tried calling to set something up and immediately was on hold. I waited about 10 minutes and then hung up. I then tried the next day--same thing. Wasted about ten minutes without a person even coming onto the line. So, I left a message requesting a call back and was never called. I find this unacceptable. I'm going to find a different doctor now. read more

Once you actually get an appointment its a great place. I've spent way too much time on hold - up to 10 minutes. If you can, dial 1 and leave a message. They usually call back fairly quickly. They need a separate line for returning a call from your doctor. When I was dealing with a breast cancer scare I missed a call and when I called back it was very frustrating - on hold, dropped transfers, etc. In this day and age there should be better communication. read more

Front desk, nurse, and doctor were all lovely for my first visit. Very professional and accommodating. All my issues were addressed, I got a specialist referral, and on top of it all they were kind to my toddler who I had in tow. read more

I love my doctor! She is occasionally a bit clumsy with her instruments, but she makes up for that in personality.

Dr. Oscario is my primary physician. I love her. I emailed her on my chart about a problem I was having she had the office staff call me for an appointment right away. And she said if I didn't want to tell the reason just say it's personal. She met with me for about 1/2 hour addressed my concerns and helped me find a way to start fixing my problem. She has even called and followed up on how I was feeling. I would recommend her to anyone read more

Customer service here is nonexistent. The receptionist seemed extremely rude and completely unconcerned on the phone, like she was annoyed or irritated that I even dared to call. If you're going to run a "business" put someone up front who cares, or at least someone who doesn't sound frustrated at the job she clearly hates. Also increase your staff to address your patients' immediate health needs, as opposed to scheduling sick appointments one month in advance, unless you expect people to schedule illnesses around your schedule. read more

Been coming here for years. Simply tried to make an appointment for 20 minutes this morning(9:15)am. When someone finally picked up after 8 attempts I was told to call back and hit a different button on the phone menu. Than no one picks up. Time for a new doc. read more

The adminstrative assistants in the office are extremely polite, even though they put on hold for a very long time. Dr Sharma is the worst doctor that I ever seen. She has NO bedside manners and is very unresponsive to the verbal report that I was giving her on how I was feeling. It seems like that she has her mind made up on the diagnosis from the nurse's report. I cannot wait until Summit Medical starts taking my insurance again in June! read more

I am honestly appalled at this office's business operations. I first started dealing with this practice first hand once my boyfriend started picking up full time hours at his job; he was very busy so many times I would be the one to call and make his appointments. first, the wait time to actually speak to someone could range anywhere from 5 to 25 minutes, and many times you're put on hold for long periods of time once they finally answer your call for the first time...IF they answer your call. Making an appointment seems almost impossible there. I have called about 3 times within the past few days to make a sick appointment and every time they tell me I need to call back at a later time because "the system doesn't open to allow them to book appointments." Even when I do call back at the exact time they tell me, to book that same appointment I was looking to get, they again tell me it's no longer available and I will need to call back at another time to book ANOTHER appointment. I feel like I'm talking in circles. so perhaps it is the system that is flawed, in my opinion they should really change that or even track appointments on paper if that's what needs to be done, but what really gets me is the horribly rude reception I'm expected to speak to every time I have one of these occurrences. in all my time trying to work with them, I have only spoken to one representative who was actually kind and helpful. My boyfriend loves Dr. Holland, which is the only reason this has 2 stars instead of 1. But unfortunately we will be going elsewhere to be taken care of, as we have had much too many unpleasant experiences at this establishment. read more

Not to happy with this place. No one picks up the phone. I had to wait 20 minutes. (When someone finally answered the woman said they were ALL out to lunch??). EVERYONE?? If you have a busy office, I don't think everyone should be going out to lunch at the same time?? I took a blood test and it took the Dr. 2 weeks to call me back with the results. The Dr. tells me he is going to have the office call in a prescription, which I follow up on, and no one knows what is going on. Very disorganized and unprofessional. We moved here a year ago and we were assigned to CFP by our insurance company. My husband and I have been sick several times and have not been able to be seen by a doctor in this office. If you are a new patient you will not get an appointment before at least one week. Go there when you are healthy, you are not in a hurry, and have 25 dollars to spare for nothing. But that is how you prepare your way to be seen by a doctor here when you really need it. I have also put a complaint in our insurance company. read more

I honestly do no have time to do a review on anything.. but I had to on this. I recently moved to the area which had me searching for a new physician. First they need to fire the old grouch at reception, who knows nothing. When I asked if they do blood work on site, she said no, which is false they do and the reason for me making the appointment. Unless you are in her age range, she is mean. The other senior lady who works at reception, is very nice, but incompetent and often lost in space. I went there for the first time for a routine visit. Had the usual done, Dr. was nice and spent ample time... gave a prescription, when I called to order a refill, (you never get a person) just leave a message with your details, after 3 attempts of no call back, ( REALLY?) I would be a miracle to actually get a person who picks up the phone and speaks to you at this office, instead of push 2 for this push 4 for that!!! I decided in order to get an answer, I needed to stop by the office, well, the clueless staff figured, who never tried to figure out why I never got a call back in the first place, that the script was actually never put into my file, so I had to show her the bottle, which i just happen to have with me, that I was not making it up. Also part of the annual physical, is the blood work, which they always check cholesterol... right, HELLO the box was never checked on the work order, which means another trip to get more blood work done. More time wasted. More money wasted. If you plan on calling the office to leave a message to have a Dr. call you back, forget it. The nurse will call you at 2:00pm, as part of her message if you don't pick up the phone, is to tell you she is leaving at 2:15pm. Ok, another message, again calling me back the next day at 2:00pm, with a message to call the office and schedule another appointment. Uh, OK. More time, More Money. Thanks Chatham Family Practice for ..... nothing. I would rather get run over by a bus. Or maybe its just my luck I picked the wrong family practice to go to. read more
