I can't speak for all the doctors in the NJ Spinal Center and can only speak for my own experience with Dr. Lipp.
After waiting for over an hour in the doctor's office (without being given any notice, estimated wait time, or apology for the delay), I had to reschedule my appointment and drive back home - one hour away. When I came back two days later, I respectfully provided feedback to Dr. Lipp to let him know that scheduling could be optimized to reduce waiting time.
His response - "That is the way we run our practice. People may wait one or two hours. If you don't like it, you are free to go elsewhere."
Zero apologies for any inconvenience caused or simple understanding that waiting in a chair for an hour for a back pain patient may be difficult.
I was deeply hurt by the treatment from a professional who deals with individuals in intense pain. The lack of empathy and consideration for a patient was remarkable.
I've also made it clear that I would like to avoid surgery, and Dr. Lipp seems to be very surgery happy -- strongly recommending a delicate spinal surgery that has not been recommended by second opinions from other doctors. I found this to be highly concerning.
