Last Saturday, I was at RioCan Elgin Mills Crossing to pick up dinner at Pi Co. After fetching my takeout, I looked across the plaza and saw this Chatime. I tend to get bubble tea twice a week and have been on a quest to visit new Chatime locations as of late. I decided to check it out. I found a spot fairly close to the store. I backed into it and walked in. Out of all the Chatime locations that I have dropped by, this one is the prettiest. From the neon bubble tea sign, to fresh orchids in the lobby area, I loved how different this location looked inside. Most have the same cookie cutter look and feel. Small store. A few tables and chairs. A small prep area. Nope, this one was different. Practically all tables were taken when I got there. I don't blame them. I'd hang out here, too. It's so spacious. You follow the instructions on the floor to get to the order area. One woman was in front of me, taking some time to place her order. I was thankful that she was. I was figuring out what I felt like myself. As of late, I love the BT21 kosmos drink. Sadly, there was a note by the order area that an ingredient was out of stock and this drink wasn't available. Bummer! This month's tea of the month is yummy. I knew that I wanted it. After looking at the menu, I placed my order with the nice man at the counter: - Golden aged milk tea - Mango green tea with coconut jelly Both of them were large, with less ice and no sugar. I scanned my Chatime app. The scanner is in the lower left part of the plexiglass where the speaker is. I paid with a debit card. I tapped, added a tip, and my transaction was paid. The man asked if I wanted a plastic bag for 15 cents. I declined. If you get two drinks, you get a small cardboard tray that you can recycle. Because I got two large drinks, I got a lunar new year purple envelope. I have no idea how long this promotion lasts, but I will take it. I moved off to the side where the pickup area is. The woman in front of me got her order. You can place your order ahead of time on the Chatime app or through Uber Eats. Since I had spotted this place and drove over here like a deprived bubble tea addict, the thought of placing an order online never crossed my mind. The nice man carefully placed my drinks in the small tray and supplied Chatime's signature purple straws. I thanked him and wished him a great evening. He reciprocated. I left happily with my drinks, placed them in an insulated bag (I keep forgetting to bring it with me into the store), and drove home. My drinks were still icy cold by the time I unpacked them at home. I had the mango green tea with coconut jelly first. I don't think that I've ever had this drink, but I love it. Mango green tea and coconut jelly give me hope that winter will soon be over. My mind wandered over to a warm location near a a sandy beach, with the sun beaming down on me. I loved this beverage. The mango was refreshing and put a smile on my face. I swear that a third of my cup had coconut jelly. It is my favourite topping. To get such a generous amount of it made my day. I had my other drink the following day. The flavour profile was the exact opposite. I love black tea and its strength is pretty good in this drink. It has milk in it by default, with gives this drink a smooth finish. I felt so relaxed drinking it. If you want the lactose-free version, go with oat milk and pay a bit more. This Chatime is awesome. Richmond Hill is so lucky to have it! It definitely makes the downtown Markham location that I frequent look shabby in comparison. I had an excellent experience and will certainly come back for more when I'm in the area again. (96)

This Chatime is tucked away into a corner. It's actually closest to the Leslie St and Elgin Mills Rd intersection. The employee working when I went was very helpful and patient. I had a drink to redeem and wasn't sure if she had to scan the barcode first in the app. She let me know that I should order first and then she would scan the barcode. Since there weren't any other customers waiting my drink was ready very quickly. The Thai milk tea that I got with 50% sugar was sweet enough without being overly sweet. It was also good that she reminded me to give the drink a shake first before consuming.

Always been a fan of Chatime and this time around they have a BT21 collaboration! The cups are absolutely adorable and the new drink Kosmos is yummy! I recommend going for 30% sugar so it's not overly sweet. When you order two large drinks you also get a purple pocket! Highly recommend everyone to go try it and grab these cute cups!

Yum! Espresso signature milk tea with brown sugar bubbles.

Amazing friendly service today at this location of Chatime. Our order-taker answered all of our questions about new and featured drinks. I tried the new espresso signature milk tea without added sugar, less ice, dark roast espresso and added brown sugar pearls at the recommendation of the barista (since I find the regular brown sugar milk teas way too sweet). It is DELICIOUS! It tastes almost like a 鴛鴦 (HK milk tea/coffee) with bubbles! It's definitely my new fave drink. My friend decided to try the Golden Age milk tea that was supposed to taste like HK milk tea. She said it just tasted like sweet milk tea but didn't have the smooth HK more intense tea flavour.

I am so happy that they opened up a chatime here in this location that LACKS bubble tea!! This spot used to be green grotto which was okay ... this is definitely way better. I got take out this time since I was in a hurry. Whoever's doing cash is always soo nice, greets you with a smile on their face. Service is always so fast too even on a weekend. The venue itself looks so warm and cozy. You fan drink at the table and relax with friends/families. The place is always so clean too. Other chatime locations are usually messier, but they seem to keep the place clean regardless. I love coming here. Wish they opened at 10am so after I drop off my kids to school, I can get my bubble tea/boba.

My usual bubble tea is the passion fruit with lychee bubbles. I decided to try something different this time around, and try one of their newest flavours which was a cereal froot loops milk tea. It was horrible! I thought it would be interesting to try it considering that it was new. Much to my dismay it was not good. Cereal does not mix with milk tea or anything for that matter. The fruit loops got soggy really fast, within the first five minutes they got mushy. The service was slow. And we were the only customers there, we ordered 5 drinks which usually doesn't take that long.

Got three bubble different bubble teas. They get quite busy as many students come to buy drinks.

Absolutely a nice plus to look at while waiting for your order. Today unfortunately they did not have Tapioca which is just so sad and they also said they didn't have coconut so we couldn't order the kumquat coconut drink. This is my first time here and only time any Kung Fu Tea had no tapioca. Anyways place is pretty quick when you order your food. It wasn't a long line up or anything. I would come here again in hopes it would have Tapioca at the very least.

They had two Feb 2023 specials, with red as the primary colour for Valentine's Day. We chose the Strawberry Ice Tea with Agar Bubbles ($5.20). We rarely get egg waffles at a bubble tea store but my son wanted one so we got the Chocolate Egg Waffle ($5.00). The drink was delicious. The egg waffle was too dry; I told the manager and he thanked me for the feedback. Service was courteous with a smile. At first, the Kung Fu sign lights inside were not turned on, but once they saw we were serious about photography, they turned it on. There is free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There is one gender-neutral washroom which is also wheelchair accessible. There is free parking in the shopping mall. Review 2023-028

I will admit that before discovering Hana's Tea, I rarely visited Richmond Hill for bubble tea. I do now! Two of my visits have been after work on a Tuesday. I came here with a friend on a Thursday. You can park on Yonge Street, but parking is limited. There is parking behind Hana's Tea. The sign said that it was by the church. I did the opposite and parked behind McConaghy Centre and walked over. I got the following items as part of the event experience: - Lychee ade - S'mores cookie - Yuzu lemon and tiramisu macarons I love carbonated, fizzy drinks. The fruity ade line screams me. I got the lychee ade with no sugar. As usual, most folks question my choice to go without sugar. I'm used to it. It works for me. The lychee ade was awesome. There were bits of lychee in my drink, which made this drink naturally sweet. It was cold and refreshing to sip. Pure joy! The s'mores cookie had a huge marshmallow in it. I had to get it. It was divine. The toasted marshmallow was so good. The cookie was moist and had the right amount of chocolate to make it taste like s'mores, minus the graham crackers. I'd get it again. The interior is cute and is perfect for taking photos. I used the washroom during my first visit. The decor was lovely. It was clean. No complaints. I got the tiramisu and yuzu lemon macarons for my intern. It was her last day in the office the next day. I normally like to consume macarons before gifting them. I had a good feeling about them here because the filling was abundant and thick. We have similar tastes in everything, so I felt confident about gifting them to her. I paid with a credit card. It also allowed me to tip. Yay! All three visits consisted of my receiving a small bag of candies that had bubble tea in the centre. The next day, I gave her the macarons after we were discussing a work task that she was wrapping up on Wednesday. She was so excited. She ate both of them in a span of a minute. She had the tiramisu first. She said that it was slightly sweet and amazing. She thought that it was her favourite until she had the yuzu lemon. She said that it had lemon peel that made her love this one more. She is a younger version of me when it comes to food. I returned to Hana's Tea two days later. I joined my friend, Sandy, after work on a Thursday. It was her Yelp experience. I came back as a repeat customer. One of the women remembered me. I let her know that I loved everything that I had on Tuesday. I loved everything so much that I was back to order some more, which made her happy. I got these items: - Chicken gyoza - Peach ade - Yuzu lemon and tiramisu macarons The chicken gyoza were delicious. They were crispy on the outside with a thin wrapper on each one. The dipping sauce was perfect. Each gyoza was packed with chicken that was nicely seasoned. Yummy! I loved my peach ade. I got the same question about whether I was sure about going without any sugar. I was fine. It had small bits of peach that I loved. It also had coconut jelly. A large goes for $7, which is a steal. I finally had the macarons. OMG! The tiramisu tasted just like the dessert, but in compact macaron form. It was a touch sweet, but exceptionally yummy. The lemon peel bits in the yuzu lemon were amazing. It was excellent with the perfect amount of lemon brightness. I recently returned to get more macarons, to celebrate my friend's birthday early, who also happens to be my colleague, He had just returned from Paris. I suggested that he get macarons there. He did and loved them. Yep, I got macarons from Hana's Tea. I was hoping that it wasn't a step down from his Paris experience. It wasn't! I got two of each macaron flavour: - Nutella - Crème brûlée - Yuzu lemon The two female staffers recognized me. Yep, I'm becoming a regular. I also got a strawberry coconut refresher. I got it with no sugar and less ice. The female staffer was trying to get me to add sugar. I said that the strawberry syrup was sweet, as was the coconut jelly. End of story. Staff put my macarons in a box. I also got a paper bag to put everything in. It was a nice touch. I thanked them both and headed to my car to drive home. The following day, my friend and I indulged in macarons throughout the workday. We loved all three flavours. The crème brûlée was exceptional. It tasted like custard. I loved the Nutella macaron, which had Nutella filling. It was awesome! I have found a good place that makes yummy fruity ade, gyoza, and macarons. Staff are helpful and nice. I love everything that I have consumed so far, as have my friends. It's a gem of a spot. I will say that this place promptly closes at 9 pm when my friend and I were here on a Thursday. We chatted right up until 9 pm. We got a polite announcement from a staffer that the place was closing. You have been warned! (361)

Reviewing 2oz of Coffee (located inside Now Tea)…read more This coffee counter is known for doubling up their espresso shots in their lattes, so get ready to be well caffeinated. I arrived right when they opened, and there were already a few people waiting in line. The menu is small & curated, focusing more on the coffee than specialty flavours. However, they do have a good selection of flavoured lattes. I wasn't able to see which beans they used for the espresso, but overall, their roast seems to be a bit darker/stronger, which balances out a sweeter latte well. I tried the iced biscoff and pistachio lattes. The biscoff is slightly sweeter and nuttier - definitely my fave of the two. The pistachio latte, in contrast, was disappointing. It was $1 more than the biscoff latte, looked nothing like the photo on the counter, and didn't taste much of pistachio at all. Although it looks like a separate counter, I realized that you can order drinks from either "shop" from their one main counter. I also found it a bit confusing to figure out the hours of operation, as Google said 2oz of Coffee opens at 11am, but the Now Tea shop isn't open until 12pm.

I typically hit Kinton Ramen in this plaza, fetch food, and leave. It was nice to have already parked for two hours. I got here at noon. There were plenty of spots available. After doing a quick look at the bubble tea places to choose from, I chose TP Tea. There's one closer to my home, across the border (it sounds fancy) in Scarborough. I needed to check out a different location. TP stands for Taiwan Professional. I still think of my former intern who disliked a software tester at our workplace who creeped her out. She nicknamed him TP, which stood for Toilet Paper.... haha! Anyway, I digress. I walked in and there were two staff members. A young man came over to help me with my order. The Thai milk tea looked so good in the poster on the door that I went with it. I couldn't get it without any sugar, so my order became less sugar and ice. I also got tea jelly. I had never heard of tea jelly before. Tea jelly in tea? Hey, why not? I paid with a credit card. I tipped and tapped. I also signed up for TP Tea's points program. You simply enter your phone number and sign in through the touchpad each visit. You can get free toppings, free drinks, and more. It didn't take long for my order to be ready. This store is deep and narrow. You can't sit down and enjoy your drink. You also can't use the washrooms. The woman behind the counter asked if I needed a bag. I politely declined and said that I was going to drink it now, which made her laugh and nod. I wished both folks a great day and headed to my car. The Thai milk tea ws excellent. If you like strong tea, you want to come here. The milk was perfect to balance out the tea. I loved the tea jelly, which added a cool flavour dimension to my tastebuds that I have never experienced. It was awesome and I got a decent amount of it! Less sugar worked out nicely. My drink was a touch sweet. Perfect! I had a great experience. I hope to return to this plaza and get more drinks off the menu. (463)
