The reason this is so significant, many injuries and diseases cannot be addressed by surgery. I've been losing my ability to walk over past 8 months. Pain Management groups are limited and undermedicate drastically. They also push spinal steroid injections in order to prescribe any pain medication. (This is objective with 3 main Pain groups in Chattanooga-although will be vehemently denied). The providers in Neurosurgery group have extensive knowledge of the diagnosis and degenerative conditions and are best adept to help a patient with multiple spinal and mobility issues that are increasing. Flat refusal to treat pain is cruel. I'm now unable to get myself to doctors & specialists appointments. I need help. I was normal mobility 4 yrs ago. I'm not a difficult or demanding patient. I'm in agony. Recent herniation exacerbates my other problems. I'm very disappointed in the brush off and refusal to treat pain that is documented by imaging and assessment. It's cruel.
