All of the target carriages are falling apart and usually don't work unless you move the line it's attached to like an old clothes line and most of the lanes target carriages have fallen off. I'd completed their online waiver ahead of time so I didn't have to do anything upon arrival. Downstairs is where the ranges and a small classroom are located. The range guys were also pleasant and professional. There are a couple policies in place that don't make sense to me, but that's a small thing, I suppose. The range is well organized and easy to use. Firearms prices upstairs were pretty much on par with other local places, though there is a decent selection.

I'm not reviewing the range, just their Cerakote service. I took a little J-frame revolver. First,…read morethey said 4 to six weeks and it was more like 8. I had to call to get an update about it, and they had it done about another week later. The Cerakote came out ok but it looks like they applied it over the serial numbers then ground it back. The serial by the cylinder is completely unreadable. The serial number on the butt of the revolver still readable but now I have to remove the grips in order to see it, where before the serial was visible when you opened the cylinder. I didn't take the gun back because I have to way to prove it wasn't like that before. I don't know about the rest of their services but I can't recommend the Cerakote service.

We were informed about the laws and regulations of the concealed weapons permit, talked about different scenarios and how to handle them in the most safe and effective manner, not only to save lives, but to avoid putting yourself at a huge risk of criminal and civil liability. The class was educational and enjoyable. We covered a lot of material in a short period of time, but I didn't feel like I was bombarded with information. The mood in the classroom is serious but with some humor. I did not feel bored or disinterested during the entire class. Dennis gave each of the applicants individual instruction along the way and again wherever needed. He took his time with me and answered all my questions. I learned a lot about guns and proper shooting form today! I feel much more confident now and am looking forward to coming back to the range for more advanced classes...
