I needed a Christmas gift for a friend who moved to Chatanooga. I knew no one there but I didn't want to go with a national company. I went local and direct. Holy cow! A package/liquor store with a tasting bar!!! Yes, a tasting bar! Looking to pick up that talked about bourbon, but hesitant about dropping $100 not knowing if you like it? This is your place! They also had several barrel picks from a few distilleries. I loved their Woodford pick! So, I grew up in an area where your big box stores carry your liquor as well as your food and clothes. Then I moved to a state that did that as well. I thought this was a norm. Then I moved to GA and I couldn't believe that it is so difficult to buy liquor in the southeast. No wonder there are so many moonshine businesses! That being said, after traveling through TN and not having any luck in finding liquor in a big chain like I was hoping, I saw the reviews for this place and thought maybe it would be the answer to my problems before returning south to the barren desert of abundant liquors. This place is a good size, and it has a fair selection to be certain. It didn't have the great expanse that I was looking for, but I did find a local liquor that is not easily obtained south of the border and called it a day. It didn't seem really stocked up or anything, there was definitely a lot of room for more selection, but maybe with the pandemic, they're more picked over? Either way, for what it was, it was fine, and I definitely won't complain as I was able to find/try something new, but it certainly wasn't the end-all, be-all mecca that I had been hoping for when traveling out of state. read more

First visit here tonight (even though the sweetie and I had planned to go on the opening week-- damn you, work!) and already pretty darn excited. Less than 5 minutes from the house, we finally have a decent liquor store with a good beer selection-- both can/bottled and on draft for growler fills-- and it's open until 11PM everyday. Yay! Sure, they might not have ALL the wine and spirits that I'm used to finding at some of my favorite spots downtown yet-- but in taking to the owner today, he's willing to look for whatever might suit your fancy. He'll totally have a customer in me if he can keep my favorite Spanish Grenache Rosé box wine in stock (box wine, yes, but it's so stinking tasty, trust me!) Seriously though, we were pretty impressed with the whole shopping experience-- store setup, beer selection, friendly folks. On Wednesday January 29,2020 I went into this establishment to purchase a few items. As one of the Store Managers was ringing me up a girl came in from outside and was standing next to the manager and watched as he rang me up. I left the store and not even 30 minutes later my daughter called and asked me did I just leave the package store? I stated yes, why? She called off some items that I had purchased and I confirmed yes My daughter was very upset and I questioned her to what is going on. She told me that a person who we do not have a relationship with had called her husband and advised that they were at the package store when and was sitting in the car watching when I went in to purchase my items. He stated to my son in law that he wanted to know what I had purchased. The girl that came in and stood while the store manager was ringing me up was his girlfriend. He told my son in law he told his girlfriend to take my receipt out of the register and bring it outside to the car so he could not only view but take a picture of it. The employee, his girlfriend did just that. She took my private information out of the store and shared it with someone outside the store. I called the business at 8:16 pm and spoke with the manager, Before I advised the reason for my call I asked this question: Did the girl walk out of the store after I left? He confirmed she did. I then proceeded to telling the manager what took place. He kept saying oh my goodness! This is not good! He stated he would leave the complaint for the General Manager to call me the next day, the General Manager never called back. It took two days for me to finally talk with the General Manager. My daughter and I met with him, he stated at first he reviewed the tapes and the girl never left the building after I left, but as we continued putting pressure on him to letting him know the employee broke the Customer Privacy Act he then stated she did go outside after I left. He then became very combative, angry, and began to laugh and smart mouth us. We then asked for the District Office/Corporate or Owner information, the General Manager declined. We advised him by law he must release that information to us. He asked us to step out of the office, he closed the door, and a couple of minutes later he came out with a name and number on a sticky note! We have called that number up until today and it has remained busy. We then reached out to another source which provided us with both owners of the business. So just know that your information for this business is not being kept confidential. And how very sad it is that the General Manager never once gave us any indication that he even spoke to the girl nor that she was even reprimanded. Now I have been threatened that by the if she loses her job they will take action towards me physically. We even shared this information with the General Manager. read more

I have been a regular since they opened and have not been disappointed. Great store, nice layout, good selection and best of all, helpful, friendly staff. I'm mostly a Whiskey fan but they seem to have a good selection of everything including a nice growler station. And they also have what appears to be a pretty good selection of cigars.
