I saw from outside they had a deli so I figured let me get a quick meal. As I walked in I saw everything was so neatly organized. It looked like no one touched anything, every product was in itself place. I must have gone at a great hour because there were not too many people inside. The single line queue is similar in improvements, but not by much. the food selection here is outstanding. you can find all types of international food as well as fresh fruit, veggies, meats, and seafood. I often come here to get my staples. And the prices are pretty good. I'm not too fond of recycling here. But I really don't have a choice, It can be a "battle royale" at times. They don't even have a full complement of veggies in their produce section - for example, no bunched spinach today. Even with the expanded front of the store and added checkout lines, there is still almost always a 20 minute wait to get rung up because they never have enough registers open during peak hours. Also, i don't know why they moved the express lane to the far end of the store considering the old express registers near the entrance are literally never used anymore. Why have 20 registers if you never use more than 6 at a time? Still, it's better in most cases than the Gates Food Bazaar.

I'm wearing a 400$ jacket and usually shop at Whole Foods or the bushwick key foods, by no means was I going to steal anything. Meanwhile people are walking around with backpacks inside the store so they are obviously being selective. Just a major turn off. It's extremely off-putting when you are treated rudely by cashiers who assume you only speak English.
