I sent her a list of questions the day before our consultation which Sonia then used to create a powerpoint presentation which answered in detail everyone one of my questions and she addressed things I didn't even think about. Not only did Pastor Eve offer the lowest price for her services, she offered to provide a witness (and was willing to try and search for another if time permitted), and drove out to meet me outside of normal business hours for a mere $15 charge. She truly was so flexible to try and come up with an optimal solution for me and in a very short time. And upon arrival, she was masked and distanced as per our current pandemic conditions. She was also incredibly courteous and pleasant; albeit brief, our interaction was delightful. She messaged me right away; I assumed she was concerned about the 1-star rating. She called me several times and texted me saying how sorry she was. I did call her back to kindly let her know I already found another CPA. She convinced me to drop my CPA and went with her instead just to string me along for over 2 weeks with no intention of working on my taxes. She also made accusations about how I switched CPA every year which I have been with the same CPA for over 20 years. She would ask for sensitive documents; I would upload them to the portal within hours. Then I do not hear from her for days. She would text me again days later saying she has questions and would like to schedule a phone/zoom/google meeting. Then I would respond saying I can talk and asked for a time that will work for her. Saturday was one of the options she gave me so I asked if 1pm works for her, she then accuses me of not being reciprocal and weekends are her rest and family time. I will be filing a complaint to the State Board of Accountancy. She is very unprofessional and unethical. I would not recommend her to my worst enemy.

Three years after the fact, it has come to light by the SSA that this tax guy swapped social security numbers between my husband and me. My husband had my SSN on all of the paperwork and vice versa. This caused me to not have an income for that year, as far as SSA was concerned. We had to go through the whole filling out the SSA795 forms to correct his mistake. I will say the ONLY reason we used him was for a very specific tax situation that put me out of my depth. Never again.
