El 3ro. de Enero del 2018 contrate con CHAYKA TRUCK DRIVING SCHOOL 6911 Van Nuys CA 91405 Mr VARTAN para que me ensenaran a manejar un camion y obtener mi CLD, ese mismo dia me hicieron hacer 2 maniobras y luego esperar tu turno y otras 2 maniobras, el Sr. VARTAN que dice ser instructor solo me indico una sola vez parado al lado del drive y eso todo despues el se limita a mirar o llamarte la atencion de mala manera fue todo de instruccion verbal y los siguentres dias vi los offset parkins y lo fui haciendo mas mal que bien y fui yendo casi a diario de 2 a 4 PM pm (una semana cerro el school x remodelacion o otra semnana (en dias diferentes), monday to friday, que no hubo practica de manejo por que parece que es el unico truck para el DMV y para dar en instruccion teorica tenian otro pero el jueves xxxx parece hace 6 dias de hoy feb 7 2018 se robaron el truck o sea ahora hay uno solo. Este Lunes pasado fui a hacer mi practica y trate de hacer un offset backing y me salio mal y el Sr. VARTAN me empezo a decir que me equivoque de trabajo y que vaya a volar aviones (soy piloto con 210 horas hace 20 axnos atraz) y que regreseara el siguente Lunes 12 y que me devolveria mi dinero y OK le dije y me retire por que apago el unico truck de manera malcriada y dijo "inspeccion" (habia otros estudiantes mayormente armenios , iranies,rusos, 5 o 6 de porte militar?). Le pague los integros 1500 dolares 750 a la firma y la otra en cash que no me dio recibo por que tenia apuro por mi hijo autista y no dejarlo solo en el carro , y el me dijo no problema y lo iba a anotar en su cuaderno, mi esposa llego al rato a recoger a mi hijo (fue un viernes X). Hoy Miercoles fui a hablar con el (take record) y dice en sus alegaciones dice que tiene 50 estudiantes (1 solo camion? y no me reclama que le deba dinero por si acaso y me dice que si quiero puedo seguir pero no me devuelve mi dinero, aunque tambien le dije se cobre x las quiza 2 horas que estube en camion y como le digo solo me dio una "clase" parado a mi ostado y de solo 3 minutos), nos dio unas 8 hojas de instrucciones para pre trip y air brakes y eso fue todo, solo se sento una vez en cabina conmigo y me explico rapido sobre los frenos de aire y fue unas 10 minutos. Le dije me devuelva la mitad o sea $750 y nada y me dio casi una crisis y le comente al resto de estudiantes alla a lo lejos que me estaba robando mi dinero. Ya no confio en el y trata a sus estudiantes del medio oriente asi de despota no tiene otro instructor trabaja solo (50 estudiantes?) y no quiero seguir bajo sus ordenes mas si discutimos esto. Justo cuando iba a pagar la segunda vez $750 casi me arrepiento y no pago por que ya veia que es un patan pero mi necesidad de aprender me hizo caer en manos equivocadas. Por favor ayudenme en esto no tengo trabajo y son mis pocos recursos, que el se cobre sus 2 o 3 horas que estube conduciendo y no se que mas sus 7 minutos de ensenanza verbal. I highly recommend this program. I found it online when I decided to get my Class A. It's a simple course where Vartan (the teacher) provides all of the necessary materials and hands-on instruction you'll need to pass the various DMV tests. Work hard and do what he suggests at each stage and you'll have your license in a month or so. The program is less expensive than other premier truck driving schools, and so the training is less expansive. He's not the hand-holding type and the responsibility of memorizing the written material is entirely on you. He'll answer your questions but will avoid repeating himself if you're not working to learn the material on your own. Training takes place not in a classroom but on a lot where you'll practice parking maneuvers. If you need a more traditional classroom-type learning environment this may not be for you. That aside, you'll get basically unlimited training on the truck, 5 days a week under supervised instruction until you're ready to take your tests. This is probably the best school out there. i attended their weekend classes and let me say the Instructors are some of the best out there. Every class was always great and the instructors were always there to help you in anything you need and nobody rushes you yo get up to speed. I had 4 other classmates with me and all of them had nothing but great things to say about the class. i passed my driving test with no issues and just wanted to thank the guys at Chayka driving school. I was recomended by a friend to go here and now i reccomend anybody else to go here as well. They have the best prices and could not ask for more. read more

I cant begin to let you know how amazing this school is, the knowledge that i gained during this short period of time was amazing. The instructor Vartan has many years under his belt and was informative. Do yourself a favor and dont go to that school the owner vartha is always in a bad mood(bitchy) and for some reason the majority of the students are Armenians so if you don't understand the language it'll be hard for you to go by with the classes since the teachers are always speaking in their language so do yourself a favor and dont go to that school. By far the best Truck driving school I have ever attended. The instructor was very helpful and understanding. The school is set up in a way where it is very easy and simple to adjust to. Vardan is by far the best instructor I have ever worked with and to top it all off, he even got me a job once I passed my test. The worth learning experience I've ever had! Owner Vartan is absolutely unaware of his duties-he only cares about his own pocket. Surprisingly unprofessional low levels of preparation for the DMV test. As a result only 10-15% of students pass the DMV test. Wonderful truck driving school! I was a truck dispatcher for a while, I was curious to see what it is like to drive a truck. So looked into getting a truck license. Vardan made the process quick and easy. The price was more than reasonable to get the license and now I am driving a Peterbilt from the Bay Are all the way to Massachusetts. I was looking for a trucking school that I could do as quick as possible. Chayaka is very flexible with hours. The teacher teaches you everything you need to know to past the test.
