Second attempt to lesson 2, we scheduled with Daisy & she failed to cancel, or reschedule, and did not bother to show up for the lesson. Very unprofessional, irresponsable & immature. We gave her the benefit of the doubt & rescheduled a few appointments due to last minute BS excuses on instructor Daisy's part. Second lesson finally happened & instructor was over 25 minutes late. 3rd lesson, instructor Daisy confirmed the morning of the lesson, but did not show up, Did not cancel, and did not reschedule. I would like to highlight a few things about my experience here: 1. Initially everything went perfectly smoothly; signing up for my first session went smoothly and my first class (of the packaged I paid for in full) went great. The instructor showed up on time, I felt comfortable in the car and behind the wheel, and I felt that I learned a lot. Everything went down hill here. 2. Scheduling my second session was a *major* challenge! I would have a class scheduled and be left waiting for my instructor to show and he never did. I never got a notice before hand about the cancelation of the session. This happened multiple times before I was able to finally attend my second class (that was cut short due to the instructor not having time in his schedule to commit to the full two hours that I was promised in the package. 3. Scheduling my third and final session was even more frustrating. After having been apologized to by the instructor for their failure to show up to our scheduled classes he ensured me that he would completely available the following week to schedule our next class. I made an appointment and again he never showed up. At this point I just wanted a refund for the 3 of the 6 hours I had left for the package that I paid for. I was told that they had a *NO REFUND* policy, which I was never told/ read about in their services seeing as how I was informed about their classes through text messages. I expressed the fact that I had felt disrespected and frustrated with their services. After another back and forth I was able to finish my classes that I had already paid for. To sum it up, the worker/instructor seem to be nice people and this is *not* an attack on their character, but they both need to work on their professionalism. If I am paying you for a service with the expectations that you show up to the classes that I prepaid for, then I expect for your to show up, and if not, send me a notice 24 hours a head so that I can prepare for it. read more

I am very disappointed on this place. I was very surprised how a management has a rude person named Daisy in this facility. At first when I spoke to her very nice and we had a good communication but I was very shocked to know how she spoke to me at the end. She confirmed weeks ago about a service I requested on the day of. The driver that was sent for my daughter was not the driver she said that was supposedly her mother, which was not the driver instructor. The driving lesson was cut short the driver had no clue of what he was doing and was on the phone constantly and he said he only was there to help out. After this incident she promised on a text message that was sent to my husband that there was going to be a extra 30 min lesson with no charge. She confirmed that the driving test was for September 8th 2021 at 1:20. Of course my husband messaged Daisy to make sure the driver was on there way because the dmv was at 2:20. The driver never came she never answered her phone and Daisy said the instructor was going to be her husband and when he kept messenging her to find out if he was on her way she became really rude to my husband and the instructor that was going to take my daughter had no professional as well.. Once I got home I called her and yes I did call her she said that all of a sudden her supervisor said to cancel the service I asked for her supervisors name and she didn't want to give me her name which the supervisor is her own mother she said too call the office which was really rude with me she cussed at me and I told her nicely to talk like grown adults because I was not cussing at her at all and she rudely hanged up on me. She, after messenged my husband saying that to tell his wife to not call her if not she will put a restraining order which i was in shocked because a professional person would not say that. The reason I called was too find out what happened and that I was very disappointed of this outcome. I dont need to lie this was very unprofessional of her part and this driving school and I honestly don't recommend this facilty at all. There was no communication on her behalf to confirm on the day of for the appointment. My husband had to call and make sure it was done properly for the second time and if the appointment was still on. Daisy should not be handling a facility with no professional customer service and with a rude attitude knowing that she is representing the company. read more

This place is bullshit and a scam. My mom bought me six hours for around $300. My instructor was Albert. I couldn't tell if he was laid back or just half assed. Always on his phone, and yawning. I didn't think much of it and I think first few sessions went well. When it came down to the last 2 hour session, he kept asking about me paying another 300 for another 6 hours before we even finished the last 2. Anyway I ended up paying for the extra 6 hours and had our first 2 hours scheduled. He cancels on me. We reschedule. No biggie. rescheduled appointment comes around, no call, no text, no show. Two days later he reaches out and said he was sick, I let it slide. We finally reschedule again for this class, and once again he has to cancel. At this point I'm annoyed and I felt robbed so I promptly ask for my money back. He then tried to throw in another 3 hours extra for free and then he sent me California dmv practice tests and the drivers manual he was supposed to send weeks before. I declined and asked again for my refund, to which he completely ghosted me. He has yet to answer any of my texts or calls, and has made no attempt to reach out to me about anything. I should've read all the other shitty reviews of this place before going forward with the extra driving lessons. What's also suspicious is that he reached out to me and my mother through different phone numbers both Android and Apple. Seemed like a nice guy but my experience was very unprofessional, and in the end I was scammed. Fuck this place. read more

This establishment was great, I had a great experience. My instructor was Mirna Luna and she was an awesome instructor. I had no prior experience at all, only driven for about 5 minutes and that's it. It was quite frightening my first day but I was able to overcome the fear on my second day. Mirna was a very patient instructor and I felt very safe with her as an instructor while I was driving. The vehicle used for instruction is designed so that a gas and brake pedal is also on the passenger side if the instructor in some occasion needs to take full control for the safety of both the instructor and the student. I've never driven before and I took the 6 hours course, everything was straight to the point, and simple. I was also accompanied by an Instructor to my behind the wheel exam. My instructor, Hernan, breaks the stereotype of driving instructors who are in their 50s with beer gut, graying hair, thick-rimmed glasses and a fashion sense rather kept in the closet. He's actually younger than I am, and although relatively new to driving instruction, he knows not only what to teach but how to teach as well. He boosts your confidence at the wheel and on the road just enough so you can see both your strong and weak points. I had him for the first and second days of instruction. For the third day I was given Sal who actually works under the company Omega. I found out Zion and Omega share instructors. For a first and last date, Sal impressed and delivered. He keeps tabs on the way I handle the car and the road, and constantly fires questions at me which was very helpful in keeping me aware of my performance and my immediate surroundings. The one peculiar thing I liked about Zion/Omega is that they don't let students pick-up other students, which other schools do. That way, instructors stay focused on the current student, and the student does not get limited in terms of itinerary and lessons on the last several minutes. The only thing the company failed at was issuing a receipt even after requesting for it three times. read more

I scheduled my appointment over the phone for my driving test. I was surprised and happy to hear that they would pick me up one hour earlier and give me training. The day if the test Jesus showed up, he made me feel at ease and went over the basics. We drove for an hour, and he really EMPHASIZED my traffic checks. Upon arriving at the DMV, we waited for another 30 mins more or less, time that we spent reviewing for the driving test. Jesus was very friendly and candid, and he is definitely known in the DMV. He came off as a bit demanding at first, but I quickly learned that it was for a reason; as the minutes went by, his humor and pointers helped me feel more comfortable. Needless to say that I passed my driving test. I was glad Jesus went over several things, including blind spot checks. Overall I had a great experience and have already recommended them. read more

I've had the good fortune of having Sal as my driving teacher. I'm learning how to drive at the age of 26, after being afraid of it all my life. Driving was my single biggest fear in life, and I had a lot of anxiety about learning. Sal is really clear in explaining things. He's incredibly patient. When I freak out or get nervous he's always calm. He's really observant - when I run into issues and don't know why, he can frequently figure it out based on where I was looking or where I turned my head. He always shows up at my place on time. Really professional, shakes my hand and greets me with a smile every time, and opens the car door for me which is unnecessary but appreciated. The prices are pretty good too. I called several places and this place had pretty competitive prices. read more

This is very overdue, but regardless of the time passed i would definitely recommend this driving school. I did not learn how to drive here, but i rented their services for my driven licensing exam. Jesus met me outside the school on a very early morning and we took a couple laps around a typical DMV route. He pointed out my weaknesses and we tried to improve them, he was very professional and helpful. Needless to say i did pass my test with minimal errors, it was definitely worth the fee. I passed my driving test the first time and I believe that this school gets the credit for that. They even set my behind the wheel appointment for me. The school is also conveniently located by the mission road dmv so they were able to take me through similar routes that the examiner would take me through during the test. I got two training instructors and they were both really nice and patient and they knew how to take care of nervous students. I'm just taking one star off because the first day for my training, the instructor didn't show and I did not receive any notice at all and on the day before my driving test, the instructor was 30 mins late and I didn't get to do my full 2 hours. I really like this driving school. I went through the whole process with Sandra and she was great . Sandra gave me a user name and password when I did the online learning portion and she checked up on me every so often to see how I was doing. When I was finally done she taught me how to drive with their 10 hour package and made sure I was educated on minor details such as to look over my shoulder when switching lanes all the way down to making sure I knew the controls of the car. When I finally finished my 10 hours we felt confident I was ready to take my driving test . Notice I said we because she made sure to communicate on how I can improve, but most importantly what I am succeeding in. Once we felt I was ready she helped me schedule my appointment and took me to my driving test. Btw I passed on my first try for both tests! WORST DRIVING SCHOOL EVER First off instructors are always late they tell you to be their a specific time but they show up 20 minutes late themselves. The most I waited for my instructor was 40 MINUTES just for him to tell me he wasn't going to be able to make it and he rescheduled me for another day. These people don't even have respect for their students time. Like how hard is it to call and say Im going to be there late or I'm not going to be able to make it before the class starts? What's funny is that when the class was scheduled to finish they would actually finish it they wouldn't add time from when your instructor was late. So I wasn't even getting my full 3 hours every session! Once I told them about this they decided to give me my money back and the rest of the hours I really needed for free and I was fine with that but In my last class they had switched my instructor to 'Divoly'. He was 30 minutes late and he was really close to rescheduling with me too. He showed up though and when I got in the car with him he just taught me how to start the car and drive off. As I'm driving I'm just noticing he's giving me directions on where to go. I'm a student of course trying to learn how to drive and I didn't notice I was going faster than the speed limit until he told me to park the car. Once I parked the car he was telling me I needed to watch this video about driving inside the office. I'm like okay this probably going to be a short video but I noticed the video was 30 minutes long and then the main lady from the office came and told me that I wasn't going back on the wheel with Divoly because he doesn't feel safe with me driving which got me so mad because the whole time I was in the car driving with him he stood quiet! He wasn't giving me no tips or tricks! He wasn't even telling me slow down if I was going over the speed limit! The only thing he was telling me was directions! This guy wasn't teaching me anything at all it felt like he was just there to be there. I find it funny how he didn't want to tell me any of this to my face like if he was scared or some and had the lady at the office tell me instead of him. They had me watch a VIDEO a VIDEO I COULDVE WATCHED ON MY OWN TIME. Instead they want to add it on to my class time. I told her how you expect me to learn if I can't even go back on the wheel and left so furiously. This school is a waste of time and Sandra is the only good instructor but she mostly speaks Spanish and I couldn't really understand her but shout out to her at least. read more

I had this amazing calm guy called Matt; pick me up from home, take me out an hour before my test, act as my CA drivers licence holder, with car and insurance and drop me home.
