    I really wanted to like this company. I did my research, I specifically chose to use a stable,…read moreconsistent name brand for my move. Unfortunately this was a poor decision. The load out and transportation or fairly uneventful up until the point, of arrival for delivery in Montana. My U-Box arrived a day late and without prior notification that they anticipated it to be delayed. In addition there's no transponder/tracker on their boxes so please be aware. They literally have no way of telling where your box is at any point in time. It may be worth it to put some kind of your own Apple tracker inside. Because I always Pack Light I did not have any fragile items that required packing pads. They did wrap my bicycle in one blanket securing it with tape. My items did arrive intact eventually a day late. They did remove $50 for that inconvenience. However at that point the moving company that I had arranged to assist me with unloading my items I had to cancel. And reschedule them for two days later because they were unable at the last minute to adjust because they had other moves on their schedule. You Haul did not accommodate me for that. They did deliver the U-Box to my residence without charging me the $200 delivery fee. I do appreciate that. However when I received my final bill after they had retrieved their U-Box they had charged me $108 apparently they believed they have provided me with 24 packing blankets. They absolutely did not. They provided me with 12. I also returned all 12. I had to file a claim with them stating that there's a discrepancy that I did not receive 24 blankets at any point in time during the move. I find this to be ridiculous that they would charge me for something that I absolutely positively did not receive. When I tried to remedy the situation I had a very unpleasant conversation with a young lady in the office. She had an attitude from the moment that was very unprofessional. I am not sure if this was racially generated or if she simply was in a bad mood. She definitely was not helpful, refused to give me a receipt told me it would be emailed to me I still have not received it. And stated that she would write the necessary email stating that I did not receive 24 packing blankets. It seemed as if I was causing her a great inconvenience. I found her attitude to be unprofessional, I'm becoming and a for representation of the business. I can honestly tell you I would not recommend doing business with you all. You're welcome in advance.

Have rented trailers several times for a few hours here and there during the day. Was denied today for not having working runners which they installed originally. Aside from one or two employees, not very friendly or courteous.

If I could give a less than Zero Rating I would. I called first thing in the morning due to problems securing a ride and told the man on the phone I would be arriving a little late. Fine. Upon arriving I waited patiently while he assisted another customer. Fine. Then when he was free he told me the key was in the truck (they weren't) waited for an additional 45 minutes for him to find the key. No Key. I told him that I needed to leave so I could continue packing, and asked if he could call me when he located the key. He blew up at me and I waited for you for an hour then said he wasn't going to rent me this truck at all to (even though I'd already paid for it) and hung up. I had understood this was a business and that since I paid in-full that it wasn't a matter of waiting on me that this place was staffed and he "wouldn't be waiting on me" necessarily. Then he called me back and apologized once he found the key. I rented the truck for 3 days and charged $175+ gas but went online and extended the rental due to other complications and logistics and was charged $57 dollars for the extension online. Suddenly, I'm called immediately after my confirmation online was complete and the UHaul guy abruptly asked "What are you doing?" I told him I needed extra time with the Rental and I extended the reservation time. He said well I am canceling your reservation and just return the truck when you are done. Later I get numerous calls about him needing the truck back and that another family needed the truck. These numerous calls came through as I'm unloading the truck and he's yelling at me about this double-booking situation. I told him "the more you call interrupting this moving process the longer its going to take and I'm moving as fast as I can". When I finally returned the truck he charged me $167 dollars for not getting the truck to the other family in time. I told him "I knew you were going to find a way to pencil whip me" and he completely lost it as I paid the bill, following me out of the store calling me names etc. My Sons and my Nephews (all under 18) overheard him and they jumped out of the truck and started yelling back at him in my defense and he ran inside and locked the door. When I needed to move some more Items I learned he had banned me from ever renting from any U-Haul EVER again. What a piece of work! This coward can sure dish out the threats and obscenities but when he gets any push back from another he cries foul. UNBELIEVABLE! Final bill $342 for a 3 and 1/2 Day (51.76 total miles) rental at $35 /day + mileage as advertised. And a lifetime ban BE VERY CAREFUL folks.

John was the customer rep that we…read moreworked with the most, but I had an opportunity to talk to 2 of the other employees (Crystal and Hayden, I think)...and they were just as nice and helpful. We were upgraded to a much better vehicle as the one we were supposed to have received had just arrived. This was a new Chevy Tahoe with 3000+ miles. If I had any questions they were always courteous. They never seemed to lose patience with someone who had only rented a car once...years ago. They gave our family a ride to the airport to save an extra $25 if we had dropped it off at the airport. How nice! It was a very good experience and I would recommend them to anyone.

Most recently a ¾ ton truck for a trip out and back to Oregon and then for a Jeep while we were down in Vegas. Both experiences were great. I have always had good experiences with Enterprise and why I decided to become a member. That was until this past week. I booked a rental online for the Missoula location at 3309 W. Broadway St. I booked this online on 5/22 for the following week. A 3-day rental starting on Thursday the 28th- Sunday the 31st. I received my confirmation email on 5/23 and confirmation #2113713518. All was good, or so I thought, until I arrived. We had just completed the 1hr 20 min drive from our home in Plains to pick this rental up. We had planned to rent a larger car for our trip down to UT. This way everyone would be more comfortable, since our larger vehicle was in the shop. However, when we got there, not only did they not have a vehicle for my reservation, but they had no vehicles at all. No call, Text, or even an email letting us know they had no vehicles. I simply got to the counter and was told, I'm sorry we have no vehicles. I'm sorry. I told him that we had just driven in from 90 minutes away to pick this car up and he simply said I'm sorry there is nothing we can do. I said what about my confirmation only to be told we have no vehicles. He was right their lot was bare. I didn't have time to push for a solution since in my mind this was a breach of contract since they had sent me a confirmation number. And I didn't want to argue back and forth. I just turned to leave as he said, "Sorry" again. I just replied "Whatever" in frustration. I think this is exactly what he was hoping for as he then canceled my confirmation out of their system. Terrible customer service and terrible communication. I get things can go wrong, and I get that it may not have been this person's fault. But "Sorry" doesn't cover the inconvenience caused and the hardship of not honoring the confirmation of the rental agreement. I went from Hero Dad to a big Zero dad as I got to try to explain to my kids why you couldn't keep your end of the agreement and why you didn't even have the courtesy of calling/texting to let us know. We then proceeded on our trip in a cramped vehicle we weren't planning on traveling that far in. Not Cool Enterprise! I don't plan on coming back until your competitors find a way to lose my business. I know, no big loss, I'm just one customer of thousands. This is why I decided to share my disappointment with others. I'm just 1 insignificant customer in your world.

    Rented a Barretto ride on skid steer and a trailer. Trailer had a light broken off when I got it,…read moreshould not have left the yard like that.. The skid steer would randomly set the parking brake which only affects one track causing the machine to turn unexpectedly. This caused me to nearly hit my son with the forks we were using which would have likely broken his leg. We had to fight with the machine several times to get the parking brake to release. Altogether an extremely unsafe setup. When I returned the machine I informed them of the issue and that it seemed to happen after hard use. They called me an hour later to say that they ran it around the yard a bit and couldn't reproduce the issue so it didn't happen and the machine was fine. I was also told that they had never had a problem with those machines before, but when I mentioned it to a coworker he said they had returned one for the exact same problem. Unsafe equipment, not believing customer complaints, charging extra for every attachment (Caterpillar rents a similar unit cheaper, with a trailer that has ALL the attachments, but it was broken down). Not only will I not be returning, I'll let the excavating company I work for know to go elsewhere. Erin Chamberlain
