I have twelve rental properties. I recommend her and her agency in the strongest terms possible. She is one of the most efficient and capable persons I have dealt with in the insurance business. She is smart and a savvy hard working woman. Any time I contact her she gets back to me quickly. She has never failed to promptly return a phone call or text. Any time I make a request for something she gets it done and gets it done quickly. She is always polite and friendly. I have been dealing with Farmer's Insurance Company for a long time and I dealt with her two predecessors at this agency before she took over. She is by far the best of the three to deal with. Her assistant, who helps her, is also very capable and very good to deal with. On one occasion I felt a premium was too high and I asked Tonya to figure a way to get it lower. She did it. Another time Farmer's decided they didn't like to looks of one of my rental properties--despite the fact it had passed a county inspection and they told me they were not going to insure me anymore. I was told to speak with Rusty. I called Rusty and explained my situation. It took rusty all of 10 minutes to find me the proper insurance without it bankrupting me. If I had not called that auto broker I would not have found this company/Rusty. I'd be driving around uninsured, which is very dangerous. Called Thursday.... Went by Friday at 12:25, office closed for lunch. Went back by on my way to CVS for passport photos at 4:40 to check one more time. They were open, although there was no one at the reception desk. After awkwardly saying hello I was called into someone's office. A woman apologized that they had never gotten my messages and that they do not do passport photos at that office. Look, if they can't be bothered to answer the phone and return phone calls when it's a simple yes/no question about a service touted by AAA as a benefit for my yearly membership, why would I ever trust them to act as an insurance broker or be helpful and responsive if I were in an emergency?

I have had no accidents for over 25 years. Another person hit me and I am grateful to have no long term damage. I just want to have my medical bills paid and my car fixed. The details I can handle. After agreeing to this State Farm wants me to pay $600 plus out of my pocket for an "after market" back up camera to be put on my car that I had to reach out to them multiple times to discuss. They had CARSTAR initiate the conversation with me, (never told me how to go about having this done, or that CARSTAR couldn't do it) CARSTAR referred as to where I could have this done. I need the back up camera for safety because I'm short and have a big vehicle. Petty. I wish I could give them less stars. They not been helpful or kept me up to date, CARSTAR has been great. I will write them a good review. They agreed to pay for installation, etc of the back up camera and now won't. It doesn't have anything to do with this agent but I am switching insurance.
