I am writing after an experience so unprofessional and disrespectful that I feel compelled to warn others. While the doctor herself is pleasant and thorough, her office is rendered almost inaccessible by her staff. My issue began with a 10:00 AM appointment. Upon arrival, I was told it was actually at 2:40 PM. I assumed this was my error and didn't protest. I informed the front desk lady I had an evening flight, to which she dismissively replied, "Then sit and we will reschedule." After several minutes of being ignored, I left. I called back and agreed to try for the 2:40 PM slot. I arrived at 2:30 PM to find the office door locked. I knocked for minutes while someone inside mumbled unintelligibly. They finally opened the door without apology. When I asked how long the wait would be, the staff member walked away without answering. After 3:00 PM (over 20 minutes past my rescheduled time), a lady with red hair emerged. I asked again for a timeline. She refused to make eye contact, turned her back on me, slammed the door, and was heard saying, "I don't know." This was blatantly rude and humiliating. Desperate, I called the office phone from the waiting room. When I explained I needed a follow-up for recurrent UTIs (as advised by the ER), I was met with indifference: "The doctor is on her way, we don't know when." I was then led to an exam room, only to wait agai. The doctor was, again, very pleasant and thorough. I have no complaint about her or her bedside manner. The final frustration came after leaving. I went to the pharmacy for my medication, only to be told the prescription was never sent. After calling the office and waiting on hold, I was told, "Let the pharmacy call us." I put the staff member on speaker with the pharmacy tech nearby, and the prescription finally came through while we were on the phone. In summary: Prepare to be upset and inconvenienced when dealing with this office's front desk and administrative staff. The doctor and her medical assistant are the only professionals in the practice. The administrative chaos and disrespect make receiving care here a taxing ordeal. Adding this a day after; my prescriptions never received by CVS. I had to travel without them. Called the next day with 8 hours time different, ET was 2:46 pm. Answering service refused ti take a message and said to call during business hours. Can't get worse than this, traveling and sick and zero care received from this office. read more

Dr. Consetta Cheatham has been my doctor since I was just 4 weeks pregnant, and she delivered my son at nearly 38 weeks. From the very first appointment, she showed me nothing but genuine love, care, and a motherly affection. My pregnancy was very difficult, both physically and emotionally, and Dr. Cheatham was always empathetic, patient, and kind. She listened to me, reassured me, and did everything she could to make sure I was safe and well every step of the way. I never once felt dismissed or overlooked because she made me feel protected. I'm honestly in tears writing this because I am so grateful for her. She is not just an amazing doctor, she is an amazing human being. Now don't go overwork my girl but I would redo my entire pregnancy just to experience Dr. Cheatham for the first time all over again. Forever thankful read more

This is my 2nd year of annual exams at this office. The doctor and staff are professional and personable. Everyone was pleasant and made the process less stressful. The exam was thorough. My former GYN retired, and it took me a while to find my new GYN. She was a recommendation from my primary doctor and the nurses in his office. I would recommend Dr. Cheatham. The office is busy, and yes, sometimes you need to wait because OB GYN Doctors and the babies they deliver have flexible schedules. Your health and piece of mind is worth waiting for a good caring doctor. So go get yourself checked out annually because good health is priceless & you are worth it. read more

I had a very disappointing experience with one of the nursing staff members, who I believe was the manager. She was an older lady with black hair and noticeable dark eyeliner. Unfortunately, she was extremely rude to me both over the phone and in person. During our phone conversation, she listened initially but her attitude changed drastically when I mentioned that I had sought a second opinion from another doctor. She immediately suggested dropping me as a patient and stated that there was nothing more they could do for me. Throughout the call, she kept saying they couldn't hear me, despite my efforts to call using both CarPlay and AirPods. Frustrated by the lack of communication, I ended up driving to the office in person. When I requested an appointment due to two recent miscarriages, she responded by asking what the hospital had said before deciding whether to continue seeing me as a patient. I explained that I was already a patient and expressed my frustration that no one had communicated clearly with me about my condition, nor had anyone been proactive in trying to understand or address the cause of my miscarriages. Her response was "Oh my God" and a dismissive tone, which I found completely unprofessional and upsetting. When I asked her not to say that to me, she remained disrespectful. When I told the doctor the experienced I had with her nurse she brushed it up and kept talking about the next steps and not apologize for her nurse on the way she spoke to me. Overall, I felt ignored and mistreated during an extremely vulnerable time, and I am very disappointed by the lack of empathy and support I received. read more

The first time I came here for a regular checkup I was satisfied. The usual long wait ensued, but all doctors don't respect a patient's time, so what can I do? It was my last checkup that made me not want to come back. I don't get mammograms; I choose not to for very specific reasons, and I don't care to hear any doctor lecture me about it. But as I lay on the exam table, legs spread, the doctor gave me a 15 minute long lecture all the way up to the point I had my clothes back on and was walking towards the door to leave the exam room. She would not stop lecturing me, then advised me to make an appointment for a digital mammogram, which she claimed uses a lot less radiation because they can take a lot less films. So, I went home and looked it up. A digital mammogram uses twice the amount of radiation in less the amount of films take. This is why I don't always trust doctors with my health. Dr is sweet . Caring and funny . If your pregnant she is amazing at that type of care . If your dealing with premature cancer menopause or hormonal issues get to another Dr immediately. The Dr like I said is wonderful disposition. Now on to the front office receptionist and office manager. Shame on them . The receptionist didn't ever hear of memorial Sloan Kettering which is pretty much a sign of ignorance . The scheduling is appalling and they schedule three patients in a 15 minute slot . Lots of sitting and waiting . Office is rude the girls that draw blood are nasty and not very informative. They don't even tell you what they are doing while taking blood . Very Uncomfortable in every aspect . Sorry but I am afraid people won't get the proper care here . I know I had to be my own advocate with very important testing . read more

Horrible! Incompetent and rude staff. There were 10 people waiting to be seen when I walked in. There is only 1 doctor! I waited over an hour to be seen and they made me call my insurance to confirm that they will cover the visit since my last pap was 9 months ago when I already knew coverage restarts in the calendar year. The staff doesn't make eye contact or speak in full sentences. No urinalysis was done. The doctor was ok, but definitely not anything special to wait this long for again. And they refused to do a simple test because it can't be done in the same visit as an annual. It's impossible to find any good doctors anymore. read more

Save yourself time, money and sanity. Steer clear of "Dr. Cheatham" and her obgyn office. I should've stuck to my guns and checked out Yelp before scheduling an appointment with this hell-hole of an office. I came in 10 minutes prior to my appointment to fill out required paperwork. I filled it out and then the agony began. I came in for a routine checkup nothing more, nothing less. I waited a whopping 1 and 15 minutes to be seen for 5 minutes. While waiting for the doctor to make her short appearance I was on the phone with my friend explaining my frustration and how I was going to walk out because I've waited an entire hour. When I began dressing myself Dr. Cheatham walked in for her 5 minute checkup. Thank you Dr. Cheatham for such a thorough review and amazing eternal waiting. It's nice to see how you make your patients wait hours on end but you come in for 5 minutes and tell me everything is okay! Of course you don't care because you book patients back after back and can't keep up but that's alright because you are all taken care of with insurance payments. Don't make my mistake or mistakes as others have posted. If you care about your wellbeing and health don't come here there are other obgyn who will actually do their job and you will not have to wait a ridiculous amount to be seen. Their staff is useless and was never able to contact my pharmacy and have my BC ready. Thankfully I have now found a doctor who does not make me wait, answers all my questions and isn't skimpy on the time spent with evaluating his patients. read more

Dr. Cheatam is super sweet, makes you feel at ease and comfortable! However her staff on the front end of the office and blood work room could be more personable and attentive, rather than ignoring patients for personal chit chat. I did not have a good experience with Dr. Cheatam with regards to my pregnancy. When she told me to go for my first ultrasound, she failed to inform me that I would hear the heartbeat and that my husband should be there as well. So he missed out unfortunately. Then there were many other issues. She said she would get privileges at a certain hospital and she led me to believe it was going to happen. Well about 2 weeks before my due date, there still wasn't an update so I changed doctors. Best decision I made because the other doctor was so much better. With regards to appointments, many times I had to wait from 45 min to 1 hr. I thought it was normal until I switched to the new doctor and never had to wait for more than 15 minutes. I've already heard that this doctor was horrible but I didn't want to have to go through the trouble of finding a different doctor. However, now I will. Someone had told me that Dr. cheatam had repeatedly misdiagnosed her. Luckily I'm healthy and I don't have any real problems but this doctor could not even manage to send my prescription to the pharmacy when my appointment with her to administer my injection is in 30 minutes...after I had already left my new job 2 hours early for this appointment. Also, I was told that this was on auto-refill. Anyways, then I wait one hour for my prescription at the pharmacy, and get to my appointment an hour late. Now I'm waiting an hour just for her to administer the injection. Yes, I'm writing this review as I wait. Let's hope that this time she doesn't miss the vein, as she left a giant bruise on me the last time. She also doesn't have very flexible hours FYI. On a brighter note, she's very friendly and welcoming but she maximizes her money, aka her number of patients so if you have real questions and concerns don't expect an answer. She'll just brush it off as she throws some sample pills at you that she got from a sales rep. read more

This doctor and her staff are AWFUL. If you care at all about your health, do not go here. I've never had such an awful experience at an ob/gyn before! First, my appt was for 5pm. When I walked in, there were 4 other patients waiting to be taken in - I thought that was odd considering it was 5pm and Dr. Cheatam is the only Dr. in the office. Anyway, after standing at the reception window for about 5 minutes while the office girls continued their conversation, one of them finally opened the window and then just stared at me. I gave her my name and she gave me new patient paperwork to fill out. After I filled the paperwork out, I went back up to the window to give it back and stood there another 5-7 min while the receptionist typed on her computer, got up, walked around, came back, spoke with another office employee and then finally opened the window and took the clipboard from me. After that - I sat in the waiting room for 30 minutes before the assistant brought me in. She weighed me and took my blood pressure, then sent me back into the waiting room. 10 minutes later, she took me back in, sent me to a room and told me to put on the paper gown, etc. Then I sat there in the room, by myself for 40 minutes until Dr. Cheatham FINALLY came in. I was actually about to stand up and get dressed and leave. My meeting with Dr. Cheatham left much to be desired as well. I am 34. A new patient and there for my annual and a potential bladder infection. She did not ask me anything about my history outside of if my family had any health issues and what birth control I take. I tried to talk to her and let her know about my own history and she didn't make eye contact and said, "Mm hmm" after everything I said. The exam was maybe 5 minutes, she decided I had a bladder infection, said she would send a prescription to the pharmacy and do a unrinalysis to be sure - then she was gone. I got dressed and waited in the room for someone to come back and give me the cup for the urinalysis. No one came. Finally I walked out into the hall to find someone and one of the assistants looked at me and said, in a bothered tone, "Yes?". I told her what I was looking for so she gave me the cup and then directed me to the bathroom which I had to access by walking back out through the waiting room. When I walked out, there were 4 new people waiting to be seen. By this time it was 630pm. What were all these people doing there?? For 1 doctor who makes you wait an hour and 20 min past your appt to even see her?! And not for nothing but it was quite uncomfortable having to walk past them with my pee! Anyway, I gave it back to the assistant and then she told me to wait in the waiting room for the results. I waited another 20 minutes, it was about ten to 7 at this point. Finally she comes back out and tells me they have to send the urine to a lab for results, they can't test in the office. Which, I think is bs because my old ob/gyn always did the stick test while I waited (I'm very prone to these). Anyway, I was so aggrivated at that point, I left. To sum it up. I had a 5pm appt as a new patient. I was brought in at 530. Sat in a room by myself until 6:20 when the doctor finally came in. She spent all of 5 minutes with me, asking NOTHING of my history. Then more of my time was wasted until I finally was able to leave at 7pm. 2 hours for an appt and I spent all of 5 minutes with the doctor. Unattentive - Seemingly uncaring - Inconsiderate of time - Unprofessional - basically the WORST experience ever at a doctor. Oh and I called 2 days ago for the 2nd time since my appt asking for my results from the urinalysis because it had been 10 days and I hadn't received ANY calls and I was told they'd call me back "tomorrow" because the doctor wasn't in. That was 2 days ago and still no call back. Also, my "bladder inefection" symptoms have not changed even though I've been taking the antibiotic. When I explained this, I was essentially hung up on. I made my first appointment at 5:30 as a new patient. I called to change the time and they never had my information in the system. Then they told me as a new patient I'd have to wait until the middle of July, I was okay with this. Then they told me that I would have to be seen in the morning and no later than 4:30PM, which is the time I am working..despite them having evening hours until 6:30pm. I asked if I could be seen at 5 or 5:30 as this was the time they had given me first. She said no, only 4:30pm. no exceptions read more

First and foremost, I don't write reviews often as I usually am pretty easy going about things. I am new to the area but have been to this office for a couple visits. I chose it based on the reviews of DR. CHEATAM (good) and location. I did read reviews that stated how poor her staff is though. I thought that that would not bother me, but boy was I wrong. This staff is by far the worst I have ever experienced!!! Most of this is geared toward the girls at the front desk, but they speak so rudely to patients (not to just me - I observed this in the waiting room while waiting 45 minutes past my appointment time). The front desk acts totally put off if you ask an insurance question and prescription questions. In fact, I got a lecture from one girl about how it's "not her problem" that I waited too long to get a refill (I was told by someone else answering the phone a few weeks prior that I needed to have an appointment to get this particular refill - well, I was going to run out before they could get me in). I gave them plenty notice and could do without the attitude. This was just an example among other things I did not appreciate. Dr. Cheatam was quite nice and frankly, is the only reason I went back. But my patience is getting thin with her staff. I have no idea how she doesn't see this type of behavior throughout the day but I plan on mentioning it to her next time I'm in office. I sure hope I don't have to switch dr.'s (just such a pain to do I think) but looks like I'm heading that way. read more

I rarely every write reviews, I'm the type of person that only does it when I've had extreme situations in service - both good and bad, and this was unfortunately the latter. I'd like to begin by saying that Dr. Cheatam is a decent OB/GYN, not GREAT but she def. knows her stuff. But she's very much in and out of your visit within 5-10 minutes, after you wait in the lobby for about 30/40 and isn't very thorough on following up. My review is more over the HORRIBLE service i experienced from her assisting staff. I have NEVER experienced such bad service, especially not from a place I trust with my HEALTH. It began when I initially called - I have an IUD and was calling because of some pain I was feeling and after telling the receptionist I wasn't comfortable speaking to her about it and asked her if the doctor could give me a call back directly - she INSISTED I tell her and I was basically told by her that the doctor wouldn't take my call or call me back unless I told her what was happening so she can relay the message to the doctor .... God forbid I wish to speak to MY doctor, on MY own, about MY health. That alone was a turnoff but, since i was in PAIN, I complied and after pulling teeth with this woman, the doctor gave me a call later to discuss further. THEN, came the visit. My appointment was in the late morning and I waited outside for 30/40 minutes - what is the point of making an appointment then? But ok, let's disregard that for the moment being. The doctor saw me, confirmed everything was ok and gave me a prescription she said would help me with the pain and help me with the issue I was having. I step outside to leave and ask the nurses whether I needed to grab the prescription from them. They basically rolled me off their shoulder and shoved me out the door as they said "we'll send it to your pharmacy". The following morning I call my pharmacy to confirm the prescription was received and, shocker - the prescription was never received. I call the doctor's office to let them know, and instead of apologizing she insinuated it was my fault because they didn't have a pharmacy under my name. THAT'S FUNNY - I've received a prescription from Dr. Cheatam to my pharmacy before. So I ask her, regardless as to whether they had my pharmacy or not - why am I the one calling them to inform them of this? Why did they not call ME and ask me which is my pharmacy the day before when she was supposed to send the prescription over?! Doesn't end there. After some back and forth - because yes, she actually gave me lip as a patient to the doctor she assists ... she takes down my pharmacy's information and sends it over. The day after that, I receive the call from my pharmacy to tell me the medication is in and it will cost me around $150. I then call the doctor's office again to ask for a generic/alternative that may not be so high in price to which she scoff and says "there isn't one". After again, INSISTING on the issue, she finally says "I'll talk to the doctor". I chased the doctor and her assistant for THREE DAYS for a response. THREE DAYS - now an entire week from my visit, from which she knew I was in pain. Finally, she gets back to me with a name for a medication and gives me the task of looking for a pharmacy that may have that particular prescription - because apparently doctors' assistants don't do that type of stuff all of a sudden. After finding a pharmacy, thanks to the super helpful staff of Rite-Aid in Lyndhurst, NJ, I called them to let them know where they can send the prescription to. So again, a day later I call the pharmacy and go figure - NO PRESCRIPTION. THEY HADN'T SENT IT OVER YET AGAIN!!! When the receptionist/nurse or whatever you want to call her, speaks to me about it she claims "the pharmacy never called us" .. to which I reply "IIIIII called you, I PERSONALLY called you - so what is the reason as to why the pharmacy still doesn't have the prescription?!" ...AGAIN, we went back and forth to which I cute the conversation off with "There's no point in continuing this conversation because you're saying you weren't informed when I personally called you to inform you." So after 2 weeks - TWO WEEKS - I finally had the correct prescription sent to the correct pharmacy. TWO WEEKS with pain in my lower abdomen. Because of THAT, I will NEVER return to this doctor. Her staff are a group of incompetent, unprofessional and unaware people that do not care for the well being of her patients. read more

Office staff and manager are terrible. Not helpful at all! I made two appointments. First one they didn't even put my name down. Second they told me to come at 330pm. I came and the office door was locked. I called the service and they said they don't open until 4. When I called the office manager at 4 she said I should've knocked! Seriously? If they see someone has an appt the door should be open at that time! She said do you want to come back or go somewhere else? No compassion at all! Terrible, terrible staff. It's such a shame because Dr. Cheatam comes highly recommended by my fellow nurses. When I spoke to Dr. Cheatam she basically told me to choose another doctor and not go to her anymore. read more

Absolutely DISGUSTED with this place! I'm 17 weeks pregnant and was seen at Dr Cheatams office since the beginning of my pregnancy. Ever since the first appointment we felt extremely rushed like she didn't have enough time to answer our questions as first time parents. Every 5 minutes the staff was knocking on the door advising her that a sales rep was there and she ended up rushing us out of the appointment. Every appointment since then has been awful. You never get seen on time usually 45mins later if not more. The tiny waiting room is always full with people who all have the same exact appt time as you. The staff is rude and looks like they rather be doing something else. The receptionist gives medical advice as if she qualified to do so. The medical assistants gossip, chitchat about personal things or play on the internet while they are supposed to be taking your vitals. When you finally get put in an exam room you have to wait sometimes 30 mins to see the doctor. She then barely let's you get a question in before she's walking out of the door to see her next patient. The doctor's bedside manner could use a lot of work or maybe she needs to have less of a revolving door approach to her patients. Oh and by the way if you are looking into her because she's a one person practice look elsewhere! when we asked her what happens if the 5 other women who are due around my due date go into labor at the same time as me she said she would ask me to come to which ever hospital her most "emergency" type mommy was at or else she wouldn't be able to guarantee that she would be there! I decided to find another doctor when the doctor told me that she "missed" a result on my blood work from 4 weeks prior and never bothered to call or advise me of her mistake until i came in a few days ago. My new doctor requested my records and when I called this morning I was advised that they would not be releasing my records until my insurance claims go through to make sure i don't owe them any money. So now as a pregnant woman who is still waiting on additional blood work results that could have serious implications in my pregnancy i have to wait until this office gets their money before they send my information to my new doctor. ALL of my experiences at Dr. Chetham's office are horrendous. The office staff are COMPLETELY incompetent. I have never been to annual appointment where I waited less than an hour an a half to be seen. The staff is completely uninterested in patient's health, they are blatantly rude when testing my vitals (chit chatting and gossiping with each other when I'm sitting right in front of them), and they don't even greet you when you walk in or when you're being escorted to a treatment room. I am a young, healthy female who has only visited Dr. Chetham for annual appointments. THANK GOD I have never had to visit her for a serious condition or pregnancy. Although Dr. Chetham herself is nice and understanding, I wouldn't recommend this office to anyone. 5 minutes with Dr. Chetham is not worth the hours of torture booking the appointment, waiting in the dreadful waiting room, or god forbid I have follow up questions regarding my lab results or birth control concerns. When I switched from a different gynecologist, the staff told me they would request my medical history from my previous doctor. 3 years later, I learned they never received my info. That was extremely important to me since I did have a health scare that I thought was being tested for for 3 years. I will never step foot in this office again. Wish I had read the reviews! Office staff is unprofessional and incredibly rude. You are completely ignored when entering office. Every patient in waiting room has exact same complaint. I brought my daughter in to see doctor bc she found a lump. We arrived 10 min prior to appt and there were 2 people in waiting area. After waiting over an hr to be seen, the doctor spent LESS THAN 5 min with my daughter before walking out to see the next patient and handing her a script for testing. Didn't ask her if she had any questions nor tell her where to go. Done. Will NEVER SEE THIS DR AGAIN. I GIVE 0 stars read more

I have been a patient of Dr Cheatam for 10 and 1/2 years, I have never been to a better doctor , She returns calls so promptly even after hours 7 days a week. Reading reviews about the wait time is ridiculous next time maybe you will be the emergency , did you ever think of that ? The office staff is exceptional Sandy will work with everyone And will answer any questions that you have , to read people are calling them rude , maybe you are the RUDE one. I delivered 2 babies in Manhattan and 3 with Dr Cheatam , and she is exceptional, my 16 yr old daughter is now going to her and is so comfortable with them . This practice deserves no stars and has to be by far the worst experience, waste of my time, money and needless aggravation. I am writing this now because I just had a collection agency call me for a bill from 2010 and I had to recall everything that happened back then. Apparently she was out of business so is now back and thus the late bill. I had gone there for some general tests and had not heard back about the results so called again and again for weeks. Finally, I asked that she send me my results and was told I need to come in to hear my results and wait another couple of hours in her office as a regular appt. I needed to come in so she could bill me for another appt. Finally, I go in to pick up my results and they weren't mine.. there were tests with bad results except that I never took those tests. My name was on the results. I asked to see my records and questioned how this was possible with no answer. Either she's a complete scam artist billing for tests never done or the office personnel screwed up the samples.. or both..either way it's a disaster you want to avoid. read more

Dr Cheatam was lovely although I cant say much more as I only saw her for 5 mins. Her staff was very pleasant. But the wait!!! I waited 2 hrs for a 5 min. appt. The staff was apologetic but this was excessive and inconsiderate by any standard. They should call patients up to reschedule or tell them to come in later. read more

Receptionist and staff are rude and not helpful. In order to have a convo with the Dr. i had to make an appointment where i was charged, then put in an exam room even though i wasn't having one. The Dr. came in without my chart had no idea who i was or why i was there and didn't have my results from my previous testing and had no idea what i had done. The convo lasted 5 minutes, basically could have been handled over the phone but i was forced to make an appointment. Needless to say i will be finding a new gyno. read more

If i could give her 0 stars i would! This is the WORST experience i ever had with a doctor ever in my 31yrs of living! When i called for my first appointment i was put on hold for LITERALLY 10 minutes and when the receptionist came back she didn't know who i was or why i was calling! That should have been my first clue to not make the appointment. So I'm at the office waiting for 30 minutes passed my appointment time. I finally get called in, spend a whopping 10 mins with the actual doctor. I was sent out for additional testing at a radiology center and was told my gyno would call me with my results. Of course no call so i called them, on hold for 15 minutes (literally) for them to say oh you're fine I'm like ok? So whats next? She says to me oh you have to make an appointment with the doctor to discuss that..can't you just put her on now? No you need to make an appointment to talk to the doctor! Are you serious? So i make the ridiculous appointment to simply speak to the doctor where she no doubt charges my insurance! I get in they start weighing me and checking my blood pressure, I'm like oh I'm just here to speak to the doctor they say we still need to do this. I guess it makes her feel better that she charges my insurance for a conversation if they do some kind of medical stuff to me...after all that unnecessary stuff i get escorted to an exam room, once again i say I'm not here for an exam they say ok just sit in the chair then. I wait in the exam room for 20mins Cheatam comes in has no chart in her hand doesn't know who i am or what I'm there for. At that point I'm done with her and her staff. I have to tell MY doctor what I'm there for? Who I am? How she became a doctor and how she is still in business with such an awful staff is beyond me! So i have found a new gyno and i am trying to get a copy of my chart from Cheatam's office and they are giving me a hard time with that as well....STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE ITS TERRIBLE ALL AROUND! THE DOCTOR AND STAFF ARE MORONS!!! read more

If I could rate less than 1 star I would. The office staff was nasty every single time I had any dealings with them whether it was to get a prescription renewed, make an appointment, getting test results, and most recently trying to get my records sent to a specialist for an emergency appointment. read more

Dr. Cheatam is amazing! She delivered both of my sons. I trust her with my life. When I read about the wait time I shook my head of the stupidity lol.. She's a DOCTOR that Delivers Babies and does Unexpected Surgeries! Someone bleeding during pregnancy your suppose to tell them to wait bc you have patients?! People can be so petty it's disgusting. My whole family go's to Dr. Cheatam. My cousin had cancer, it came back and Dr. Cheatam caught it. It's been 10 years and we're thankful! read more

Dr Cheatam is one of the top drs I've ever dealt with. I've been through cancer and surgeries over in NYC and I still rate her as one of the best. She is the one that caught my thyroid cancer btw, not the other three medical docs I was seeing at the time. She has a full lab right in her office which is super convenient and her range of knowledge about the entire female body surpasses all my expectations every visit. I've been loyal patient for ten years. She has performed surgery on me also. Every once in awhile there is an office wait but mAybe people forget that she also delivers babies! And last I remember they don't care about her office hours. Having had children myself I can attest that babies can be very inconsiderate and selfish that way. Crazy, right? Anyway I feel she is well worth the wait if a scheduling conflict occurs. And I have personally never had any problems with her staff either and found them helpful and efficient. read more
