I had called back in May 2022 and made my appointment for July 2022. My appointment was last week and I should have seen the red flags when I was there.... First, my appointment was at 7pm, I was not seen until 8:30pm, way after the office had closed. Once I got in the room, Dr. Isaacs seemed like she was in a rush by how quickly she wanted to get everything done. I was nervous and had anxiety about coming to the appointment and the condescending tone in her voice made me feel even more anxious. I didn't ask my questions during the appointment because I could tell the doctor and the staff wanted to get out of the office since it was the end of the day. The next day I called the office and asked if I could speak to the doctor regarding a possible ultrasound for cysts that I was told from previous doctors that I have on my ovaries. The receptionist took my information and said the doctor would call me back the next day. (I called Thursday and said I would receive a call by Friday). Today is Monday and I finally received a call from the doctor. Dr. Isaacs asked me, "Why do you want a ultrasound?" I explained that it had been over 7 years since my last one and I wanted to know if the cysts had gotten larger or smaller or if they went away. I explained how nervous I was about my PCOS and then she said "First, you are wrong, you don't have cysts you have follicles on your ovaries. Also I don't treat PCOS, so an ultrasound is just a waste of your time and my time." She was very stern in her voice, almost as if she was scolding me for asking for an ultrasound because I care about my health. I am a young 24 year old woman and I want to make sure my body is properly taken care of and the fact that the doctor disregarded my feelings about this is completely wrong.

I discussed with my husband that we should change doctor as this was our first pregnancy and it had complications. I also wanted someone that is more caring as this was a very important part of our life, but my husband believed she had great professionalism, confidence, and experience. I am so glad I listen to him as Dr. Vikner helped us delivered three successful babies. The first pregnancy was a singleton and second pregnancy was twins. During the twin labor, she went above and beyond her role as a doctor. Our labor started past midnight, our first twin came out naturally within the hour. The second baby refused to come out due to her position. As many doctors would normally take the easier route, and earn more money by performing a C-section, instead, she demanded the hospital nurses, the anesthetic, and her team to wait over an hour for the second twin to come out naturally. We are very grateful for Dr. Lin. If you looking for the friendly doctor we suggest going somewhere else but if you are looking for someone to make sure your health of you and your baby is her main concern then we highly recommend Dr. Vikner. I also want to thank you for the nurse, Maria. She is very friendly and warm. I have very small veins so it has been difficult to draw blood. She always drew it quickly and painlessly.

My experience with Dr. Shoman has been excellent…read more I have lived with endo for years, and have had several past surgeries. I felt it returning and found him, as I wanted a new specialist. Rather than rush into surgery, he took a less invasive approach and so far (2 months into a hormonal change) it seems that I will avoid surgery, or at least delay! Also, while his office is out of network, his office assistant Nora is a blessing. She is patient and explained the fees to me more than once because I was a nervous wreck. Another thing I like about this office is that they only have one patient at a time, so no crowded waiting rooms. My only frustration was that we weren't able to complete my initial consultation due to needing a more high tech ultrasound, so I had to go to an imaging place and then have a follow up with the doctor, so what would have been one appointment (and one fee) ended up being three, which was super expensive. That said, if he saved me from surgery it was worth it.

Since when do doctors charge to take a phone call & give lab results? That's my basic right to know my results? Beyond ridiculous. When our call dropped due to bad service, I called his office to get him to call me back, and they told me he was 'gone for the day' and couldn't call me back... IT WAS 3 PM!!!!!!! He dropped very intense & life altering news to me, that NEEDED to be communicated to me fully before leaving for the day. But instead, he left without telling me any further instructions or anything about my medication for my diagnosis. Finally, the next day when he called me back, he told me my prescription was at a certain pharmacy. When I went there that night, the woman told me that that medicine is not available anywhere in the Tri state area. In fact, she did more research and found out that that medicine has not been manufactured nor distributed in the Tri state area in over two years. ARE YOU JOKING?! How out of touch can you be as a medical professional!!!!! Thank God for that pharmacist who went out of her way to fax & call the office 20 times to try and get me a new prescription the following day DURING THEIR OPEN BUSINESS HOURS. Her efforts meant so much to me, but have since gone nowhere because they advertised as open, and they never responded! I am now, 4 days out from my diagnosis with no medication, no response from the doctor or office, and a heart & head filled with anxiety from this prolonged, miserable processes.

The last time I went for a visit, I was told to wait in my car until it was my turn for my scheduled appointment. I was there for 2 hours and the office staff was rude whenever I'd call for an update. Dr. Faugno apologized when he saw me. Just a few weeks ago, I called to schedule my annual physical. I was told I could not see the doctor until November (I called in May). I even mentioned that I had some health concerns, but the person who took my call didn't care. I even said I'd have to find another primary care doctor and she just says, "OK," and hung up. It's very hard to find a primary care provider these days. Even though he's a good doctor, his office staff lacks the decency to make his practice sufficient. If you actually can get an appointment, I'd still recommend looking elsewhere as you'll likely be disappointed at some point. I do respect the medical profession, but I do expect more care as a patient. Our lives are their hands.

I went to her 5/21/2024. She reviewed my history and had some concerns for my very early pregnancy (4weeks) . She gave me her concerns because of my past miscarriages and one ectopic pregnancy but spoke more about me losing my baby rather than trying to see the positive. This was after she confirmed the baby was in my uterus. I didn't appreciate her negativity (which it felt like) but I understood what she warned me about. Her assistant called me to come in ASAP to check if my HCG levels were increasing. I told her assistant I was not entirely comfortable going because of the more negative than positive the doctor was focused on. Dr. Maria Pachon then called me to let me know it's safer to come in sooner than later because as of right now everything seems ok but eventually I may lose my baby because of my history, but as of now everything is ok. She refused to hear me out when I said she's being negative and said she wasn't she's basically being realistic. I reminded her "I UNDERSTAND AND UNDERSTOOD EVERYTHING YOU TOLD ME ! Stop giving me good information then telling me but maybe eventually the baby won't make it" After every sentence she ended it with a reminder that I most likely won't be able to carry my baby. She is extremely insensitive and I found that to be highly unprofessional, ESPECIALLY AS A WOMAN DOCTOR. Shame on her.

She explained my whole wellness visit step by step and gave me more information on birth control like I asked.
