Even though their system essentially tells them where to put all the information. (I wonder if it is the same program that I can buy at the store for $60 and do it myself??) Overall, I really came here so they can put their name on the return and so I can get the "peace of mind" guarantee they offer ($40 extra) in case of an audit. About a week later I emailed Dawn and she said they were ready to start working on my taxes. Unfortunately, this was a few weeks prior to the shutdown. I emailed them mid-July to see if they were still open. Ten days later Michael replied they were indeed open and Dawn was there most mornings. I explained to Michael I was a new client but hadn't heard from them after the shutdown. He hasn't replied. I'm very disappointed with their lack of communication. I understand things got wonky after the shutdown but they could've communicated much, much better than they did. I would not recommend this business as tax preparers. I am now left to find another business to help with my 2019 business and personal taxes as now I am late and face penalties and fines. I did all the correspondences with them as their response was pretty much nonexistent.
