I guess I should have known that Dr. Paula Sperry was not the chiropractor of my dreams when she gruffly greeted me at 9:27 am to announce that she didn't open until 9:30. In my world, being on time is being polite, especially when there is medical paperwork involved. Things went South from there. I found Dr. Sperry uniquely unfriendly, impolite, unwelcoming, and otherwise less than fully interested in seeing patients. Her repeated statements that she is ready to retire were another red flag. I imagine some patients don't care if their chiropractor is abrasive or condescending, but it certainly didn't work for me. I don't think I've ever had such a bad interaction with any medical provider, after many years of being a patient. I suggest you look elsewhere if you are in pain and needing some help. read more

I'm a new pt of Dr Sperry's. I am quite impressed by her knowledge, desire to truly help, very educational, and a pleasure to have as a practitioner. I've been in pain for months and month and month. One visit and I have some discomfort and no pain. A couple weeks later now and still no pain, just an occas. Discomfort after my posture returns to crap. Dr. Sherry is an amazing chiropractor! While in Cape Cod for the summer, I visited Dr. Sherry due to a back issue. Her goal was not solely to eliminate my pain but rather to explore root causes and thoroughly explain to me what was going on with my total body. She exhibits a systematic approach to relieving pain and then begins a detailed plan to correct the problem, all the while providing simple exercises to be done at home. Just prior to our vacation on the Cape, I had been on a few long haul flights. Understandably, Nothing In The Entire Dungeon compared to the uncomfortable seats of an un-named airline. As a result I could not turn my neck, my back was a spasming quiver and our holiday was looking to be ruined. I called every chiropractor in the book- and luckily Dr Sperry was the first to answer. Her induction was thorough (all I wanted was to be FIXED!) but then, with the aid of some fairly dramatic "table drops", my vertebrae were reminded of their proper place. I walked in unable to turn my head to the left. I walked out with range of motion restored. I could then get back to enjoying my holiday. My wife and kids no longer suffered the brunt of my pain driven bad temper and order was restored to the universe. If you need fixing... Come here.
