Driver was parked in MYdesginated Handicap spot. He refused to move even though he had no permit to park there. when I said to him you can get a ticket for parking in that spot. He replied to me with FUCK YOU FUCK OFF I didn't know that checker liked having drivers like this. Kudos to Checker, ignorant rude drivers. By the way he was a private owner, and private owner or not he should not speak to anyone this way, especially since he had the signs in his car that pointted out he was working for checker limo. Today I called Checker to drive me to and from the hospital. It was an absolute gong show both ways! On the way to St Joe's the driver was making up tunes that rhymed with my name. Then tunes about the girls standing on the street corner waiting for the bus! I was hoping he would stop if I didn't encourage him. No such luck. On the way back from the hospital the driver was texting and not noticing when the light turned green until the guy behind us honked. Another time I said "the light is green!" He said "I am texting my dispatcher.! " Why don't they open the door for you anymore? This guy had to get out to close his hatchback and he still didn't have the decency to open the door for me! This service is made available to people who need medical transportation. Not only are they never on time, but they call and tell you they are outside and you go out and no one is there. You wait up to 15 minutes to get the service resent and you still wait. The dispatchers are totally rude and fight with you about your account. They clearly do not have their ship in order. When you call in its a different excuse every time. The very fact that you're feeling with medical transport, you'd think they would be more careful but they are not. In the past my family and I used them and received great service. Don't know if they changed owners or what but their service has gone down the drain. Made arrangements for them to take visiting colleagues from London to Orillia. Got the quote promptly, paid in advance and sent instructions how to get into our parking lot due to the construction blockages. The driver showed up 41 minutes late. Both he and the dispatcher were rude and indifferent. On top of it, despite the booking instructions, the driver went to the wrong address. He admitted that he read them wrong but clearly it never occurred to him or dispatch to verify whether he was at the correct location. And of course neither offered an apology. I find this taxi service to be USUALLY reliable, with regard to timeliness and cleanliness in their vehicles. There is a plexiglass shield separating the passenger(s) from the driver, appropriate for a pandemic. But there are a few concerns. If you request a taxi for 2:30, do you want it to arrive at 2:15? This is the general pattern for the taxi service that is pre-arranged. I have aquired a habit of conforming my life to the times taxis arrive, fearful that they may leave if I don't go out earlier than the time booked. If there is a bigger problem it is this one... inappropriate questions that go beyond professional boundaries are too common. Questions I have been asked include: "What is your appointment for?" "What time is your appointment?" "Do you receive a pension?" In such cases I politely deflect the question, recognizing that the driver probably has not been educated in this area of professional service. I've been using this car service for a long time when I need a ride. It was recommended to me by a dorm mate and I am so glad I got the recommendation. Been using them for over 10 years. Here's why this company has my repeat business: Flat rate - with trains cutting this city in half, sometimes you get stuck for a long time. It's nice to know how much your ride is gonna cost before hand with no worries. Credit card payment - they were less hassle when you don't have cash. The drivers are awesome, professional, fast, and courteous. I've had many wonderful conversations with them. Other companies' drivers weren't as professional sometimes (eg. inappropriate unwanted flirting). Their cars are always in tip top shape. If you need a ride somewhere in the city, I definitely recommend calling these guys. read more

Inconsistent service. They either arrive 5-10 minutes early (usually) or you have to call back to ask where the driver is (infrequent, but it's happened more than a few times). Cars are always roomy; normally it's a Lincoln Town Car . Sometimes the driver opens the door, sometimes not. Sometimes the route is direct, sometimes you don't know where they are going. Normally they carry your bags to the door, but sometimes you are on your own. Sometimes the speed limit is followed rigorously, sometimes it feels as though I'm on the Autostrada with Gianni Agnelli at the wheel. Sometimes the driver says nothing, other times it's non-stop chit-chat and commentary. Prices are higher than taxis because the vehicles are higher-end. Horrible customer service. I ordered a car for a customer of mine to travel from London to Sarnia and back with the driver to wait for my customer to give a talk. Everything went smooth. However, they were to email me a copy of the bill to expense. I later find out they didn't even record my email address. After getting a receipt emailed to me upon requesting again, the receipt was for $110 less than what was charged to my company card. I have been trying to get ahold of their accounting department for 3 hours now to get a copy of the correct receipt or to drop the extra $110 charge. Voicemails left with three different contacts in accounting over a span of 3 hours. Absolutely zero communication. I will not be using your service again and I will be sending a communication to my provincial team to do the same. read more

Have used this service for 20 years. Have found the service in last year to become very inconsitant. The drivers are either unfriendly or are friendly drivers. Occasionaly opening doors from outside, more often not at all, or even from inside the car. Often arriving too early for a scheduled rides or needing a call to see where they are. Some drivers will drive above the speed limit to destination when there is no need to, or sometimes keep themselves at the right speed. Some are good planning the trip ahead finding a good route, and sometimes I've ended up back where we began because they've had so much trouble figuring out the best route. It is sad because they do have great drivers that put a lot of effort into their work, but other drivers and customer service that make the company frustrating to deal with. read more

What a frustrating company to deal with !!!!! I emailed a request for quote for one simple one way trip and after 3 attempts, still did not receive a quote. If on their website there is an area for a request then why can't they reply? It is really quite simple. Perhaps they need better customer service people. It takes 30 seconds to email me back with a quote. I would appreciate a quote when I request it. I did give all the information they needed - from point A to B date and time.
