I will say I had a great experience with hair/makeup and dress but photography was such a horrible experience. We saw sample pictures beforehand and decided to go with Rahel but the pictures we actually got were no where near what we were given. I will preface and say that we were pre-warned that we were double booked that day and were not going to get the main photographer,however, I am not just upset at the quality of photos but just the lack of professionalism that followed. We ended up taking studio photos that day with the main photographer which actually were edited and came out nice, however, the pictures taken at the venue were terrible with the other photographers. Many of the pictures looked like we were inside a club due to horrible flash. Many pictures we were washed out with flash directly in our faces. Not just that but barely none were edited. We just got a photo dump of nearly 7 gbs of just raw pictures. We hired photography to get professional pictures but we just ended up with a photo dump of just raw photos and terrible ones at that. The worst part is I tried emailing the group about my concerns 3 times with NO response and am just amazed at their unprofessionalism with their clients. I guess once they have your money they just have no regard for you. If at least there was some dialogue about the situation I don't think I would have been as upset but the fact that before the wedding they were very responsive to the silence that followed afterwards is just what is very upsetting.

I am pretty upset that even with Covid canceling my wedding that the owner of MIA Party Creations…read moredidn't have a heart to give back my $500 deposit. I came to her in September 2019, my wedding was suppose to be June 28th 2020. The INVOICE says non refundable. But due to Covid 19 which was out of my hands and out of hers - she didn't have a heart to give back my deposit. Every other vendor gave back all deposits without even a blink of an eye because Covid was effecting everyone. Covid was an "act of god". When I had a conversation with the owner I was called "hunny" and was belittled and felt she was being condescending. She continued to make remarks such as "time is money sweetie" "let's not get it twisted I'm done here" and states the following: "ok np as ypi said you will not neededing about services by your choice not ours so ypu officially have canceled our non- refundable contract" Canceling the non refundable contract when I was having a conversation about finances and how I don't have any future events planned. She stated I could use the $500 on a future event, but with the hole Covid has put me in even year later I couldn't even fathom spending money on a party when I loose sleep at night how I am going to put food on the table for my children. I shouldn't have to either loose my $500 OR have to spend more money in the future to use up that $500. Even when I have tried to think of another party to use it up i contacted her about using the $500 she wanted me to pay an additional $300 towards a service because her pricing has went up. I have even helped her with projects and crafts for her events in the past. I considered her a crafty knowledgeable friend. In our conversation via text she even went out of her way to put down the projects I have went out of my way for her in the past: Stating: "The t shirts you made the letters fell apart" "No one really cared for for them" She came to me I went to her vise versa.for ideas and crafts. I feel very upset that she couldn't see Covid as an act of god and she keeps referring to her "invoice" that states no refunds applicable on deposit payment". No one asked for Covid or their dream wedding to be canceled in order to keep loved ones safe. I had to accept that my wedding HAD to cancel. I am IN HOPES that Mia Party Creation can come to an agreement.

First like many couples married in the past year we had to plan it and/or reschedule it through a pandemic and everyone we spoke to over the phone at Park Ave were still so thoughtful and caring as the wedding and event based businesses were taking a hit. Ment alot to how cool and calm they were able to remain as me and my wife were freaking out. I now must mention Brian, who was our photographer the day of the wedding. Me and my brothers arrived to the venue for photos and he was straight to business because he knew timing was pressed and was dedicated to getting us as much photos as possible. In the suites he knew the layout of our venue so well and where to get the best shots. He had all my brothers laughing and smiling because of his great sense of humor. At the church he continued to make sure we took as many photos as we could and what ever photos us(bride and groom) wanted he was willing to take and would not move on till we got the ones we were looking for. Back at the venue when our families were all there he was great at making sure me and my wife got away for some private photos where once again he knew the venue and best places to go. His timing was great we finished posed photos with 15 minutes to spare before the cocktail hour started. We put our trust in them since they knew the venue and had a vision... and I'm so glad we did! The pictures and video turned out AMAZING. They were both so easy to work with and super nice. We received a teaser gallery of photos about two weeks after the wedding, then our full album was ready about a month after our wedding. All the photos were downloadable right away so I could post to social media immediately which was a huge plus lol. We received the video about six weeks after the wedding and it was SO worth the wait. I am beyond happy with how it turned out, John captured all the good moments of the night.
