We hired GKE to be our day-of coordinators and had an amazing experience! We worked with Amanda and Andi, who were both truly superb. They did EVERYTHING, and I mean everything, to make our wedding as stress-free and smooth as possible. A short list of everything they did included: meeting with us by phone multiple times in the months leading up to our wedding; helping us create our day-of timeline; coordinated with all of our vendors in the final month before our wedding; transporting items to and from our venue on the day of; setting up centerpieces and other items; running back to our hotel when I forgot my dress socks and watch; and who knows what else behind-the-scenes! The amount of stress that Amanda and Andi lifted off of our shoulders was immeasurable and invaluable; we could not have had such a successful day without them! Where do I even start? Amanda made our wedding day sing. She is a gifted coordinator and an amazing human being who gave us confidence and peace of mind from the minute we met. She intuited our needs easily and welcomed all our crazy ideas (temporary tattoos for guests! a bike ride after the ceremony! a munchies table on 4/20! I mean come on!). For every idea, she found a way to make it work. For all that Amanda did before the wedding, it was on the day of that she and her team really shined. They came early and helped put me and my wedding party - already jittery with some last-minute changes - at full ease. The pick-up truck they brought was invaluable. My partner and I were determined to do a bike ride around Prospect Park in our tux and gown - she and her team went to work bungee cord-ing my dress so we could make it happen. I somehow forgot a bustle - they made one with safety pins. I could name a dozen other little things they did to make the day run smooth as butter. The next day, she and her team set up a shared folder with dozens of videos and photos of the night - just cause. Many became our favorite pieces of content from the event. Her team went 1000% above and beyond and made us feel so supported and loved. I would recommend Amanda in a heartbeat to literally anyone. read more

Amanda and Andi are as good as it gets! I was lucky enough to work with them on my May 2025 wedding (booked ~1 year in advance) in Brooklyn and from the initial consultation call to 11pm the night of my wedding, they were above and beyond fantastic. These ladies are organized, professional, concise, warm, encouraging, compassionate, detailed. Really every single element you could want in the people helping craft your most special day. Amanda made herself available as much as I needed via email or even phone call to talk through any questions or ideas I wanted to run by her leading up to the wedding, always with promptness and expertise! I knew I was in great hands before even "meeting" Amanda and Andi, but my goodness, when the day finally came and they floated into my bridal suite, I immediately sensed this day was going to go off without a hitch, and so it did. Not only did they map out every detail of coordination between vendors and venues (hotel to wedding venue), but they were rays of sunshine. They even went above and beyond to the point where they grabbed the camcorder I had set aside for a content creator coming later in the day and captured our first look and photo shoot before heading to the venue... memories I didn't expect to be able to watch back on that I am so eternally grateful for. This was a responsibility I didn't put on them or even mention, and yet they had the foresight to know it was something I would cherish and made sure they got it for me. They helped perfectly execute the ceremony, dinner, and reception, and were the most hospitable ladies to everyone they encountered. Once we said our goodbyes at the end of the night (mind you, a good ~12 hours of being on their feet), I felt a bit sad to know it was the end of the road working with them, but continued on to our afterparty. However, once we got back to the hotel that night, my fairy planning mothers had not only brought every single item of ours back into our room in the most organized fashion, but even made sure our cake was in the fridge with a sticky note letting us know it was in there (which ended up being our breakfast the next day, obviously). I cannot stress this enough: every detail they handle is executed to perfection. There isn't a single stone they leave unturned when it comes to putting on a wedding, even if it's just an intimate gathering of 75 guests at an Italian restaurant in Brooklyn. They are everything you could hope for and I just sincerely cannot recommend them more with my whole heart! My husband and I are so happy we chose Grace Kelly Events to coordinate our wedding day. We worked directly with Amanda Kelly to make sure our wedding at Jericho Terrace was perfect. Amanda did not disappoint! Rates were excellent and worth every penny. The Process After an introductory call, Amanda collected all of our contract/ vendor information and helped us with confirming all of our services and last minute requests. Amanda was easy to contact (via email and cell) and was responsive. She was also able to attend our meeting with our venue and introduce herself to the Jericho Terrace team in advance of our big day. The Event Amanda went above and beyond to ensure our wedding was perfect. She drove to our florist and picked up our bouquets and boutonnières for our pre wedding photos, she made sure our vendors were all in place, and made sure we were calm and enjoying ourselves throughout the night. She made me feel comfortable and confident about our wedding and was professional all around. She helped us from the start of the day to the end of the night all with a smile. No task was too big or small. She helped stitch our Mother of the Groom into her dress, aunties bring floral arrangements home at the end of the night and escort partied out guests to their Ubers. She was excellent! We left her all of our gratuities for our vendors and she took care of them all. We have total trust in Amanda. I did not have a positive experience with Grace Kelly. We got the wedding coordination packet, and hired Grace Kelly after we had booked all our vendors. From the start, I didn't feel listened to on calls -- after a call with Andi and Amanda, they immediately emailed some of vendors with incorrect information about timing. Then they were unavailable to fix the mistake/have a call with me, blamed me for not being on top of email and correcting them sooner, and then guilted me into keeping their services by telling me they cried all weekend about the mistake (super unprofessional). They did not join any of our final calls with vendors or the venue -- their main help was with the final timeline and using their software for our floorplan, but I don't think access to the software was worth the thousands we spent. On the actual wedding day, Andi and Amanda were completely unhelpful. Many times during the day we could not find them (I send bridesmaids to look for them). They did not help me into my dress, did not make sure I ate, were not around when I accidentally stained my dress and needed help, did not set up the bridal suite for my ketubah signing (my bridesmaids were moving chairs and throwing away food), and I asked them to steam my wedding dress and they said they were scared and didn't do it. They also put some of our decor in the wrong locations even though we labelled everything, filled out a decor questionnaire, and gave them a detailed floorplan. They also put reserved signs on too many rows at the wedding (I told them one row, they did four) so we had empty rows in the front of our ceremony. I ended up asking the venue to take over ceremony and assisting me during the day, because I lost all trust in Andi and Amanda. Andi and Amanda seem like nice people, but my experience was very negative (and I had a positive experiences and a great rapport with ALL of my other vendors, so I don't think I'm the problem). Perhaps they care more about their full planning clients than their wedding coordination clients. I hate leaving a negative review, but I want to warn brides that if you really need coordinators who are attentive to you and your needs, pay attention to detail, and respond with professionalism, I cannot recommend Grace Kelly. read more

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Amanda Kelly from Grace Kelly Events for our destination wedding, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. We live in Florida but had our wedding in Brooklyn. Initial communications and a deep dive on the wedding details began prior to the four week mark, but per the package we contracted, work really drums up once we were a month out. Her attention to detail and experience planning/executing weddings ensured that everything went off without a hitch. One of the standout aspects of Amanda's service was her handling of our personal decor. Being a destination wedding in Brooklyn, it was a significant selling point for us to have someone local who could receive and set up our decorations. Amanda executed this flawlessly, ensuring our vision came to life perfectly. When they were moving offices and the situation for them to receive packages changed, Amanda graciously provided an alternate address for us to send our personals to, which was extremely helpful and appreciated. Her team ensured everything arrived in time and without damage. From start to finish, everything was extremely smooth thanks to Amanda's exceptional coordination. And if anything did go wrong, I sure didn't know about it :) But honestly, I believe it all went off without a hitch and we were able to fully enjoy our special day without any stress or hiccups. It was 10/10 perfect and I am so grateful for Amanda's help. Amanda checked in with us frequently to make sure we were well cared for and happy. I did most of the planning on my own, but it was SO wonderful and provided so much value for me to pass the baton on logistics to Amanda once we reached the 1 month mark. We hired Amanda six weeks before our wedding and THANK GOODNESS we did!!! We endured every bride and groom's worst nightmare. Less than three weeks before the wedding our ceremony venue situation went up in flames. Their event coordinator quit and the contract, though signed, was up for re-negotiation due to its vague nature. My husband and I were extremely grateful for Amanda, especially since we were in LA and our wedding was in NYC. She stepped in and went straight to the top of management who worked with her until the moment we walked down the aisle. In a matter of a week she had everything in order. The contract was even better and she negotiated a better deal and rate on our behalf for our ceremony space. Just a week after signing with Amanda she was in NYC, with my mother, taking pictures/videos of the space and making connections. Our ceremony space had a bizarre layout, but not to fear, Amanda literally took colored pencils and a sketch pad and made the vision come to life and put everyone at ease. The morning of the wedding Amanda picked up all of our items and brought them to our venue/restaurant before arriving at the hotel. Yes, she has a big pick-up truck, and yes, we took full advantage (thanks again for that)!! To be honest we never thought we would be able to hire a wedding coordinator since so many companies have such high price points and Amanda's prices were more than fair.
