I want to commend the entire Cheeky Monkey's staff, but especially Abby. My granddaughter had an accident in one of the play areas, and I completely understand how stressful that can be for both parents and staff. Abby and another team member responded immediately and thoroughly sanitized the area. I truly appreciate how quickly and professionally the team handled the situation. While I understand that it's our responsibility as parents and caregivers to help maintain a clean and safe environment, I also recognize that accidents do happen. We were visiting on Friday evening from out of town and are very used to these types of places. My 4 year old had a blast. It was all fun until there was a PILE OF POOP in the toddler area that had been smeared around and tracked throughout. The staff was told but the poop remained for a while. A birthday party was going on so they may have been told up but it was nasty. Like diarrhea, and it was everywhere. Then, the same poop was spotted along with a young child covered from head to toe in poop, in the older kids climbing area. At that point, we were out. We had paid for 2 hours but I was good to leave right then and forfeit the money. They also cleaned it up with like baby wipes or something. That whole place needed sanitized, to be honest. The parent of this child was obviously paying no attention to have a babyish age walking around covered in diarrhea for 30+ min, but also the cleanup did not impress me. Nope nope nope. read more

Love an indoor play place! we usually hit up the children's museum when we are in the woodlands but gave this one a shot this past week. Clean big and super organized. The staff was friendly and the play area was the right balance of climbing structure and small play toys. I love any place that lets my kids run wild while I can enjoy an iced coffee. The dip n dots were the only way we were able bribe them back to the car for nap time. 10/10 will be coming back!!! read more

This was our first time here, we were excited to see what it was all about. It was very hot, people were leaving because it was uncomfortable. We asked a few staff members if they could turn the a/c down & they said "we know it's hot that's why we left the doors open." "it's not usually this hot but i don't know what's going on." The restrooms were hot, humid, & very small for a place that has a bunch of kids. One changing station & 3 stalls are not ideal for a kids play area. The mats were dirty, hair & dust everywhere. Some areas of the mats were uneven... i saw a few toddlers fall because of it. We did not try anything from the cafe, we did not even stay the allotted time we paid for because it was too hot & we were sweating immensely. read more

4 Stars, Why? I love the fact The Woodlands/Conroe area are starting to have more and more indoor play areas for toddlers! Pros: Location: This spot is in prime location. Next to Urban Air, Dave & Busters, Chuys and many other great shops/eatery. You can easily exit I-45, take your children to this play spot and get back on I-45. Cleanliness: Every spot in this facility was clean and well maintained. I was very impressed since most toddler play areas are usually filled with toys all over the place. Check in: The check in process is extremely quick and the customer service was top notch!! Food: They have a cafe that serves several items (not just bags of chips/sodas) at a very reasonable price. Layout: There is a clear distinction between young toddlers (1-3) and the older toddlers (4-8). That makes is very easy for parents and kids to know what area they belong to! Age limit: My favorite part about Cheeky Monkeys is the fact there is an age limit!!!!! I don't have to worry about a 12 year old trying to play in the young toddler ball pit. Cons Temperature: They need to rethink the automatic front doors. Since the check in area is right in front of the front door sensors, the doors open and stay open wayyyyy to much. It would be wise to reverse to manual front doors and keep the heat out as much as possible. We will be back and I will update my review if anything changes. Hella expensive but less stressful amenities then competitors. Cost: This place is $15 for the first hour. And then you can pay. I think an additional nine dollars for the second hour. If you go on the other side of the road also in shenandoah, you will find for fifteen dollars, we rock this spectrum to compare. This place is very, very expensive, but also is very new. And looks like it's got some good quality. Items in it. Ages: I think most ages if there are 12. And under would do fine here, but really? This place excels, mostly for toddlers. And those I would say under a years old. Atmosphere: It's a very clean place. However it is also exceptionally new. Staff: My husband and I had very different experiences. He said the staff was fine. Why 5 stars? Because this is about as good as it gets for an indoor playground. --- --- --- Our 5 year old son loves indoor playgrounds just about as much as he loves anything on this Earth, so we have been to almost everyone of them in the Houston area. About a year ago, we visited Cheeky Monkeys in Sugar Land and it was one of our favorites that we've been to. Recently, the only indoor playground in The Woodlands closed, so we were thrilled to see a Cheeky Monkeys opening nearby. To be honest, it's a massive upgrade. We visited on literally the first day they were open. It was technically a soft opening and there were only a handful of kids here. Obviously this won't last forever, but it smelled like a new construction home inside. But given how clean the Sugar Land location was, I have faith they will keep it up. I loved the TV with like 12 different camera feeds on it, which allow you to keep track of the kiddos, even if you can't physically see them. Also, there were different mascots coming out, which were a big hit. I don't know if that's going to be a normal occurrence or not, but I think it was my son's favorite part. The only thing that the indoor playground in Conroe has on Cheeky Monkeys is a full cafe. Maybe that will become a thing here eventually, but for now, they just have a few light snacks and drinks. We will probably visit Cheeky Monkeys at least once a month until our son outgrows it, so I anticipate spending a lot of time here in the coming years! read more

My honest opinion! My husband discovered this place for our toddler boys when it first opened and we were so glad. It's a cute place for your little ones to enjoy! Unfortunately, the second time we came back it didn't look the same. I understand that kids will mess things up etc, but the part that bothers me the most is the little effort to keep this place up. We came in at 11am and there were hardly any toys in each section. All of the ones we found were broken or mix match. Makes me all think that because there is no effort, how about when they sanitize? All the while still paying full price $30. I would suggest to the business, because you pay hourly to be here. How about having a team member every now and then throughout the day place things in there location? Do they just let the parents that come later in the day use whatever is left over etc? The experience was amazing! Everyone enjoyed the party even the adults. Our host was on point and very attentive. Can't leave out Miraiah the manager. Always attentive assuring everything is as expected. All our guest were amazed on how great customer service was received. Food came out right on time. I can definitely say that this place was incredibly clean. All four of my children absolutely loved it all! It was my baby's 1st birthday and Heather was such a sweetheart to us all. We really enjoyed our time there. Heather and Trinity both made it better for us with their professionalism. Both women had such great personalities and attitudes. If you have kids under 8, especially preschoolers, this place will blow your mind. Because it's brand new, it is completely spotless. No torn mats, no questionable stains. But even better than that is the absolutely awesome play space! My almost 3-year-old son and I explored for about two hours and kept finding things we hadn't seen yet. They even have a quiet area for when the kids need a little less stimulation. I actually really enjoyed climbing around with him in the play structure . Also, I assume because people haven't heard of it yet, it was only us for the entire time. It would have been fun to have other kids around, but it was pretty nice! Highly recommend! read more
