Stopped by on Fungus Fridays, when Chef Kelly offers 10% off all mushrooms. It was a busy evening for her in the kitchen as she had a few tables that she was cooking for. Her friendly staff helped me out in choosing the mushrooms and she came out a few times to answer questions. Everyone is super informative and willing help. She also has a ton of classes to learn how to grow and how to cook the mushrooms. I'm so glad her shop is on our way home from jujitsu because I can stop by! This is a new, fresh food restaurant where there's a salad bar, and you can purchase fresh vegetables and pickled jars. I have been there for Tuesday Tacos for $2, but you do get charged for condiments. The Salsa and Guacamole are excellent with the corn chips. I highly recommend the Vegan Burger; extra charge for the buns. Inside the restaurant, it is pleasantly decorated with a lot of green and warm colors. The wooden benches are not too welcoming for long meals. If you are into vegan cuisine, this is the perfect place. read more

Have you ever come across a place that just speaks to your soul?.... ⁉ Chef Kelly's is mine! Where to begin.... I'll start off with what we ate today. Started off with a cup of coconut curry carrot and mushroom soup. Every bite was delicious, and there was no skimping on the veggies. The menu offers a variety of plant based and carnivorous options. I chose the salad bar . The salad bar did not disappoint. Green options included kale, spinach, romaine, and microgreens. Pickled beets, onions, and rainbow carrots were a nice surprise. There were options of your basic onion, tomatoes, carrots, cheeses, and fruits. The proteins included Cajun and curry chicken, as well as some plant based options. Multiple dressings to pair with your salad. As for drinks, I had their cucumber melon infused water as well as the pineapple habenero kambucha. Finished it all off with a cookie cream sandwich (the oatmeal one was my favorite). Not only does Chef Kelly have dine in options but offers meal prep packages to fit your dietary needs. They offer so many classes from learning about different types of mushrooms to a vegan cooking class. Did I mention the themed nights?... Taco Tuesdays, Burger Wednesdays, Filet Fridays. Making this more than just an average restaurant. Fresh produce and pickled products are found throughout the restaurant for purchase. The housemade kombucha is also sold to take home as well. Food is fresh and made to order! What more can you ask for! The service at the counter was welcoming and friendly and made suggestions based on my diet and preferences. The bao buns are TO DIE FOR!!! I will come back specifically those every time they would make me go full vegan! The chicken sandwich was a little overwhelming with the pretzel bun I felt like it took away from the main part which is the mushroom but still tasty! The truffle chips tasted too burnt for me and would choose to not have the powder on top. Can't wait to come back and try more on the menu. I lord that Chef Kelly came out and was greeting her table and asking questions about specific dietary concerns of certain guess t make their overall experience one of a kind. I went to Chef Kelly's with a group of friends. I ordered the Brisket and mac and cheese. It was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely dine there again. They do have vegan food there. I could not tell you how that is because I don't eat vegan, but it looked good and the ones that got it said it was very good. read more

We are visiting from out of town and were told this was a good place for lunch. Our food was delicious (my husband had a burger and I had the salad bar). My 3rd time here and the first 2 were really good. Today was pretty disappointing. There was only one other customer in the restaurant so it wasn't busy. They were out of a lot of items and the fries had a ton of salt on them. Service wasn't good today- the waitress came over about 5 times to tell me what they didn't have but didn't come back again until it was time to pay. She didn't bring me a check so I had no idea what I was paying for. She brought her machine and it was $17.11 for an impossible burger in a tortilla (since they were out of buns) and a small side of fries (no drink). When I asked if that was the right amount she had no clue and didn't tell me what I was being charged for and she couldn't understand that I was paying cash and kept waiting for me to give her a card even though I told her I was paying cash. The last time I was there the waitress was fantastic- this one didn't have any personality and didn't have a clue about the menu or even to bring a check. Maybe she was new? I really wanted to continue to support a small business that has a lot of vegan options but sadly I won't be going back. read more

We ended here accidentally as, I have to confess, most restaurants in the area were busy on a Saturday eve. Nice, relaxed atmosphere. We had the special of the day, a small filet mignon cooked to perfection, baked potato and a very fresh salad. All for $15. How could you go wrong. We had the pleasure of working with Chef Kelly and her staff as our caterer for our wedding! She was very patient and understanding with all the food allergies and restrictions we had. She was very responsive to all our messages and concerns we had. We had the privilege of having our food tasting at her restaurant and the environment in there just felt like a good time and the food made us very excited for the wedding to come! The day of our wedding she arrived on time and maintained a calming energy that really helped us feel that nothing was as chaotic as it seemed. Everyone complemented her food! 2 weeks later our family is still talking about the food. The stuffed mushrooms, bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers, and the elotes were the biggest hit for my wife and I! Albeit the food is great, the ingredients are fabulously fresh and the decor and concept is clever, the server needs some serious training. It's not okay to constantly disappear into the back kitchen especially since we were the only ones in the restaurant. It is also not ok to ask questions by shouting out from behind the counter. Walk over and speak to your customers. Also the server when using the credit card should never hover over the guests when the machine comes to the part about leaving a tip. It's super annoying and unprofessional. Lastly do not have music super pound in the dining area as well as different music blaring from the kitchen. That is horrible ambience if that's the vibe you are seeking. These are all fixable things. Please fix them. read more

Stopped in for lunch today with my wife. The menu was great with many varied choices. We chose three appetizers and each, though different, was great. The server, Christy, was great. It was a pleasure to be served by her as, this being our first time, she was helpful in explaining the menu and the special. They offer cooking and cocktail classes, as well as specials on different days of the week (tacos, burgers and filet). Pasta night is April 29th from 6 to 8 pm. Finally a place in Port St. Lucie that has clean, fresh vegetables and offers a keto menu. We found this place by accident, and have been going 2 to 3 times a week ever since. They offer fresh produce for purchase, and this is now my go to place to buy all of my locally sourced fresh vegetables. I never thought i would notice the difference in the taste of vegetables, locally grown versus the supermarket,, but I do. I thank God for this place and these wonderful people. though we just met, Kelly and Hannah are like old friends now I can't say enough about this place except you must try it. We have so few vegan options in Port St. Lucie, my boyfriend and I were thrilled to find Kelly's. The hours are a little tough for us since they close between 7:00-8:00 and we work so late, but we were able to get over there tonight and we're so glad we did. The vegan brisket mac and cheese was amazing! We had the vegan balsamic vinegar Brussel sprouts and the vegan French dip which were also good. We are anxious to try the vegan crab cakes so we'll be back soon. The vegan celebration whoopie pie was outstanding as well! So light and not too rich or sugary. Chef Kelly was there and although we didn't get a chance to introduce ourselves, she helped customers and had an air about her that she loves what she does. She told everyone in the restaurant that she loved them all before she left for the night.
