Desserts were mini cheese cakes (reminiscent of the best we've had in NYC) and brownie bites with caramel sauce. They dressed professionally and worked like ninjas while we enjoyed our guests. Food magically appeared and as quickly began to disappear as people began to devour it. Tracey and her sister were courteous and friendly. The food was fresh, perfectly prepared, nicely seasoned, beautifully presented, and delicious. No "misses". 100% hits. We each had our favorite. Despite following the proper procedures, SofloChefs not only refused to refund my deposit but also ceased all communication once the refund was requested. It's worth noting that our contract clearly stipulates a full refund of the deposit if the cancellation occurs within 30 days of the event. Frustrated with the lack of response, I had to resort to disputing the charge with my credit card company. Fortunately, I succeeded in the dispute, and the credit card company refunded my deposit. Regrettably, based on this unsatisfactory encounter and the apparent deviation from our contract, I cannot recommend SofloChefs to others. Update: In response to the owner's reply. From the beginning stages of planning to cost he was absolutely amazing to work with. He was able to create an amazing cohesive menu staying within my tight budget for 50 people. Espresso crusted sirloin and mole braised chicken. Our sides were coconut jasmine rice (YUMMM), horseradish and dill purple potatoes, roasted root veggies, and bacon butternut hash.
