Fair financial accommodations were made by management (a pressing issue for businesses like gyms during that time period) and almost every student stayed engaged during the craziness of the next two years. Lessons at AM aren't just about dancing. They make every thing super fun and over time friendships with other students start to develop. You can choose the direction you want to go (i.e. social dancing, performing or competitive) or you can choose to do all three! Oh, and by the way, the instructors are amazing! Admittedly, if you are used to paying for the once a week lesson for your child to dance in a group class there may be a bit of sticker shock, but important to remember these are PRIVATE lessons. And, it includes as many group classes and practice parties that you want to go to! Extra performance based activities are optional and never required. Although they are a lot of fun. It is never too late to start a new hobby or pick up an old one. Starting at Arthur Murray was one of the best decisions I have ever made. It has changed my life for the better. Give them a call!!!

I have been to many other dance school recitals over the years and they dont compare to PAPA! The Nutcracker performance they did at Elsinore was absolutely unbelievable! Very professional and beautifully done! Tonight was their annual Dance Recital also at Elsinore, and it also was so impressive!! Sara hasn't aged in 20 years, & is still SO sweet to the children. She started out doing one ballet class a…read moreweek, and at the time, I expected her to be the kid at the recital that either refused to go on stage, or freak out when she realized she was on stage. I was blown away at the confidence and skills she has learned at CDT. She then added Jazz and Hip Hop the next season, and now the whole repertoire. The change dance has made in her life has been formative, and I credit Zoe and her staff with creating an environment that is clearly nurturing and supportive. The older dancers are positive role models and cheer on the younger ones during their recitals. Expectations to parents are clearly communicated. Each recital is well organized and executed (with help and thanks to parent volunteers). Best of all, my daughter looks forward to every class.
