I came back several months later because of their therapy pool and outdoor pool. I have heart and back conditions that make water exercise my only option for movement to become stronger. Here the locker room is dirty and filthy, lockers were broke , and the bathroom was disgusting. Its not airy and bright in this location. Parking can be a tad bit confusing so you have to read the signs. What grinned my gears was the fact that you had to scan your card in oder to enter the gym door. What happens if you were having issues with your account and no one wasnt at the front desk? I wont be coming back to this location.

So to get even close to hrs 4 so you average 30 mins a day of exercise as recommended you're going everyday. Like when at 5:30 am? Additionally for the amount of money this costs, instructors should be adjusting folks more esp. when there are back exercises I see a lot of people not doing back exercises properly. Classes are also not challenging enough, we don't use the long band enough, and they need to have heavier weights.

The space feels tense and overly monitored, creating an uncomfortable training environment rather than a supportive one. Interactions between the owner and members are of confrontational as seen and experienced. In turn makes routine workouts feel stressful instead of productive as you are always being watched and judged. There is also a significant gap between the extremely positive online reviews and what many members experiencing day to day. Which raises questions about how accurately those reviews reflect the gym's culture. With talks of free memberships and "prices" in return. A gym should feel welcoming, respectful, and focused on fitness. Unfortunately, this location appears to fall short, and many people may be better served choosing a different facility. As there are many better professionally owned gyms in the area.

I also went to another location downtown Salem,which was horrible facility wise (see previous review with pictures). So, I decided to downgrade my membership to the basic. Do you know these jokers said that I had to pay $10 per membership to downgrade? So essentially I would pay $20 to downgrade to basic from the QFit (i.e., $10 for premium and $10 for basic). I ended up cancelling and going beck to planet fitness. These jokers also charged my card when I cancelled without telling me or notifying me for the reason. I checked the my cancellation document and the contract and didnt see anything about the extra money they charged. Not happy with their service. I have attached the contracts, which has nothing about being charged extra money for downgrading memberships other than annual membership fee.

Within the walls of Zanshin is also the DaJoGen School of MMA and home of local fight team Chaos. The benefit of all three is a beautiful marriage of experience you'll find nowhere else. The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Zanshin: Aikido Brazilian Jujitsu Jiu-Jitsu (Jujutsu/Jujitsu) Judo Karate Kick Boxing Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Muay Thai Boxing 2. As far as gyms go, this is by far the nicest MMA gym in the area. I dont know of any other gym with a spring board floor catered to MMA and fitness. The equipment is top notch with a variety of bags and cardio equipment. You can walk into this newer gym and work out side by side with world class athletes. The best part is, you dont have to be a world class athlete to train here! The ambiance here is like a big family in addition to being family friendly. As a beginner to the sport of MMA, i found the DaJoGen school of MMA to be a great way to condition myself for my triathlon season and i didnt feel like i was lost in the class. 3. ***WARNING!!! Its addicting and probably the best fitness training you'll get. At any given time, you can be training with people of all professions from active military soldiers and professional fighters there for specific training to college students and house wives there for fitness.
