The roads are super narrow gravel roads and the spots are mostly very small. We tried unsuccessfully to park in various spots with no luck. After a long time driving around and about ready to give up and go elsewhere we found a spot I was able to back into. Not sure if they have full hookup sites, all we saw was water and 30 amp. The park itself is very nice, trees everywhere, looks like a state park or something like that so the park itself would be 5 stars. If you have a smaller RV or are tent camping you may have a better experience. Also just about 1:30 from Mt St Helens which you should definitely check out!

With the bridge out, we had to drive to the small parking area to do the 3 miles of forested trails starting at the Oxalis loop. The group camping is very pretty and close to the bathroom facility (2 sink/toilet rooms and 2 rooms with showers on the other side). There are often short lines. Tokens for the shower were 50 cents for 3 minutes. There was a dog who barked endlessly, all night, nearby (not in the park) and some very loud cows so bring your ear plugs!

At the he end of the maze I got to go mining for rocks and crystals. I got pyrite and I think I got some onyx and fluorite and I most definitely got amethyst, which is the prettiest one. I bought a aventurine stone necklace that means fortune. i hope it makes me rich enough yo buy a lime green Lamborghini Veneno. And I got a gold mining kit to do at home that i can mine for more pyrite. the mining was my favorite part. #GregTravels
