This is a great course, well maintained. Beginner friendly as well as seasoned player challenging. Love it here

I must say I was pleasantly surprised, went out for 18 early afternoon during the week and it was nice and quiet. We really only got hung up behind some slow play from the 15th on but hey that's what the ranger should be looking for. Easy to setup a tee time through the courses website/or call, I opened an account first online using email then had called in for a time after seeing what was available. The course was well groomed, greens were fast (had to adjust) and the sand traps were hungry!. Play was fun though, narrow in some spots some hills and valleys, boundaries clearly marked. The ability to drive the green on a few holes just might make your day, also the par 3s were just right. I did really appreciate the condition of not just the course but the Infastructure. The bridges, stone work, paths etc. were in really good shape and gave the course a nice feel. Landscaping was pleasant to look at, could use a little tree limb cleaning in a couple spots but overall nice job. Bathrooms were clean and well placed. Could use a little more directional signage but not entirely difficult to figure out (course layout card affixed in the cart perhaps). Staff was friendly and polite, one gentlemen saw us pulling out our bags and asked if we were going to use a cart and drove one over to us, don't really see that in this neck of the woods so that was worth the 5th star! Overall was a good experience. Look forward to going back now that I know what to expect. Courses seem to be disappearing and turning into neighborhoods. Let's face it no course is going to meet everyone's expectations, but it is the ones that go the extra mile that will survive and this one won over another golfer. Thanks

My favorite public course in the area - immaculate condition, friendly staff, reasonable prices. Fairways are tight in some places

This course is a little hidden gem. But you have to know when you go what you are getting. It's 9…read moreholes and is designed for the average golfer so it's not too long and it is very open. I've been playing there over 10 years and the course is always in excellent condition. The greens are always nice, but they don't run too fast. Tees and fairways are the best part of the course, always pristine. They have a grass range and putting green, but no practice sand trap. As one other reviewer noted, some of the fairways run parallel to each other so it is true, you have to be careful of the errant tee shot from other holes. Trees do line each hole so I believe this will be less of an issue as the course matures. On the positive side, you lose less golf balls here than any New England course I know. Toughest hole, #6, a long slight dogleg left. By the way, another reviewer, Matthew, gave the course 1 star for not letting his girlfriend tag along. No golf course does this, you get 1 star for being a bad reviewer, especially when you consider the nature of the course set up and the risks. The course can be slow on weekends and late afternoons because of high volume of play and a high level of beginners on the course so be aware of that. This is the perfect place to come if you are looking to learn the game, not lose too many golf balls, and enjoy great conditions.
