My wife and I started the planning process knowing nothing about floral design -- we had a vague vision and general flower types and colors we thought we liked, but not much else. From our very first conversation, Mari gently guided us through the entire process from start to finish and brought that vague vision to life in a way that was 1000% better than we ever expected or hoped! She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect (including spray painting our ceremony arch in the days before our wedding since the color wasn't quite right, spending hours on set-up and take-down on the hottest day of the season, and so much more). As a result, the flowers were a standout highlight of our wedding day. We could NOT get over how incredibly beautiful everything looked, from our bouquets to the ceremony installation to the tablescapes, and neither could our guests -- they're still raving about her work months later. (This sounds like an exaggeration, but it's not.) We met Juliet from West on Jade Photography at the Bridal Expo in Mass. my daughter loved her…read morephotos but we hesitated on hiring a photographer so far from her venue in Griswold CT. We are all so happy that we did! Juliet was amazing! She was early, which was great because the bridal party was running ahead of schedule. She jumped in immediately and began taking pictures. She was engaging the entire ceremony and reception. She even helped out with showing the groomsmen how she would like them and the groom to pose for a few pictures. She captured so many great memories that day. Towards the end of the evening Juliet was packing up and a few guests were lingering, still dancing and Juliet grabbed her camera and started taking pictures again. She was a pleasure to work with: friendly and warm, stayed within my modest budget, let me know when the flowers were delivered, and most of all created a truly exquisite bouquet with seasonal flowers. It can be so hard to order a bouquet from a florist you don't know in a city you don't live in (as I did); I often submit to dated looking, cookie cutter, FTD bouquets that are nothing more than sufficient.
