I was pleased with them so went back. I asked about paw prints and Gary Butler said he could do it. When I picked up the remains on Wednesday, December 3, the paw prints were in a card and were smudged to the point I could not tell what they were. I had expected a print in clay, which I did not get. I was so disappointed, I felt like crying and commented about the print not being clear. The woman in the office stated that the cat must have been in bad shape. I found that to be disrespectful. The cat was in perfect condition. He was an indoor cat and was kept cold until he was taken to Butler. I wasn't even given the option of the clay print. Given the lack of empathy toward my feelings and, I can never get the prints now. The cost was more than I had expected since last year. I have 2 more older cats. Butler will not be my first choice when the time comes for cremation for them

For the record, I do **not have any children** in my home, and at the time I had already spent **over $5,000 in emergency care the very same day**, all under the guidance of the attending veterinarian. After a full investigation by local animal control and the state Attorney General's office, I was **completely cleared** of any wrongdoing. Despite this, that vet tech and at least two other staff members -- another technician and a receptionist -- **continued to publicly defame me online**, openly stating they worked for Kruger Animal Hospital. Their posts have caused ongoing emotional and financial harm. I brought all of this directly to the clinic's **HR manager**, but was told there was "nothing they could do," and no meaningful action was taken. As a client who spent **over $90,000 last year** (including significant payments to this very clinic) trying to save my cats from an unknown illness, I found this response deeply disappointing and unprofessional. Under Illinois law, veterinary staff must keep client information confidential unless very specific legal exceptions apply -- none of which were relevant here. Unfortunately, that standard was not upheld in my case. I believe clients have a right to know if staff might misuse private information or make false reports without cause. I sincerely hope Kruger Animal Hospital reviews its policies, takes accountability, and protects future clients from similar treatment by terminating these employees If you choose to bring your animals here, please **be cautious and ask how your confidentiality will be protected.**

In fact, my little corgi immediately found a tennis ball and started scurring around as soon as he went through, and for me, that's a very good sign that he's relaxed enough to play. Their tagline of "every groom starting with a belly rub" is a great representation of their incredibly friendly and playful staff. It's not just a fun time, though. When I came to pick up my dog (and I completely respect their asking you to come back after they call you -- imagine your pup jumping from clippers once it sees you), he looked amazing.
