We stayed one night and they were SO accommodating with a last minute reservation! We pulled in after dark so I was surprised to see the farm like beautiful setting when waking up the next morning. It was a great stay and I was surprised to see the place so empty! We decided maybe we should stay a second night it was so enjoyable. By the time we went down to the office to pay our site was already reserved for the night, so we would have to move spots. Slightly obnoxious since there were only a handful of sites occupied, but we were late to decide so that's our fault. Ultimately we decided that if we had to pack up to move sites then we might as well get back on the road- and so we did. It was still a beautiful, picturesque and farm setting that was peaceful and quiet plus accommodating! They don't have any 'resort' type amenities but power was water are plenty amenities for us!!

There is room for improvement, with some of the lake toys needing attention and the bathrooms need some extra attention. So many amenities. And very friendly staff. It's a huge park, recommend a bike or you can rent a golf cart if they are available. Opportunities for improvement - more seating by lake, more umbrellas and shade by the pool (people saving the limited seating / shading all day and not using it was super rude), more restrooms/showers conveniently located, the food option was not great, small spaces. None the less we'd stay again given these lessons learned.

The campground has great camper spots and all the campers are so nice. I stayed in the cabins and they are also renovated with wonderful views of the lake. It is such a peaceful place away from the tourist traps of East Tennessee. OMG, did i mention they have boat rentals? We did kayaks one day and pontoon one day. It was fabulous and the staff were so eager to ensure we were taken care of. I would give it six stars if I could.

Because it's the Thursday before a busy summer weekend (if you must spray actual poison in the exact area where people camp with kids and pets this is the absolute worst time to do so), best they could do was move us to a site with less weed killer on it. After trying to convince me that "weed killer won't harm pets" first. Kind of stuck sleeping here tonight because it's too late to go home but the nice weekend we'd planned to enjoy the outdoors is completely ruined.

There was seven of us ordering basically the same and one of us got their food and 30 minutes later we started getting ours. Most everyone's tickets were wrong.... I guess after 90 minutes you kinda forget what people ordered and start just putting stuff on the bill that wasn't ordered. Won't be back again. It was awful!!!
