Rest in peace to my little baby girl.

IF YOUR PET IS VERY ILL STAY AWAY! I can't believe what happened to me and my little kitty cat. They literally told me they would hospitalize my pet for the week and quoted me a price. They then stole $750.00 from me when I thought they would do everything for my cat. I thought if she perhaps needed a blood transfusion, they would have the means to do so. Oooops nope! Silly me! So my sweet cat that was only 1 year old was brought back to me, I was forced to pay them another 750.00 for the doctor to say well your cat has a 20% chance to live and she definitely needs a blood transfusion. Well hello Doc! Aren't YOU supposed to CALL me and suggest that? Perhaps tell me you are no longer able to give my pet what she needed? NO! You wait until 6 pm to give her back to me with zero chance to look elsewhere for help. Everytime someone asks me if I know of any good Vets in the area. I won't be advising to go here. This place has really broken my trust in veterinary care. They bring you in, promise to take care of yourself pet then charge you frivolous amounts of money for nothing! The same day I brought my sweet kitten home, I took her from her carrier and she immediately died in my arms. You SHOULD of called me earlier if she needed to go somewhere else to get a blood transfusion, guess you guys decided that my cat wasn't worth saving since you kept telling me she was going to die, when she appeared to be fighting to live? Hope you enjoy the money you stole from me! The Dr. we saw was very confusing and I should have not trusted him at the beginning. My cat could possibly still be alive. Thanks for only caring about how much cash I had on me instead of my pets life and welfare. If your pet needs a true Urgent Care situation PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I was misled and trusted these people. On Monday, I called them to try and tell them my cat had passed on. Ended up hanging up because I was stuck on hold for over 10 minutes. At that point I felt like I must be just a number. My crying went on deaf ears and wasn't important. Now my sweet cat is resting peacefully in her grave. Fly high little one! See you on Heaven's highest hill.

Our search is over for a veterinarian to spay our grand dog. We used to board our Maltese here back in the day. We've always been pleased with the service and care you get at Cherry Creek. When we had a not so good experience with the SPCA on getting them to spay, Bridget W reached out to suggest Cherry Creek. I had them in mind already but I appreciated her for reaching out to me. It's so nice to have caring Yelp friends! We called a lot of vets in the area and most places charged an outrageous amount! There were places less costly but they were booked out for months. So, we chose Cherry Creek! We brought our dog in early morning and picked her up late afternoon. We paid extra for pain meds and she was quite groggy for the rest of the evening. She was sent home with the typical plastic cone but we found a comfy pillow that fits around her neck on line. I highly suggest that because it's more comfier than those plastic ones! The staff here was very caring and professional. They called to check on her the following day and even sent her a handwritten Get Well card! She is back to her old self now and we're so glad to have gotten her spayed. As responsible dog owners, I feel it is our responsibility to help control the shelters who are burdened with so many unwanted animals. Thank you, Dr Codde and Cherry Creek! You gave our dog the best possible care and we are extremely happy!

    Thanks Dr Codde!

My previous vet wanted $600 to neuter the golden retriever I inherited so I started calling around. Prices varied but were still ridiculous, until I got a recommendation to call Dr. Codde at Cherry Creek. From the very first phone call for a quote to the follow up after the procedure, my experience was absolutely wonderful. Everyone was super friendly and caring. Good vibes right from the start. When I asked to meet Dr. Codde she came in right away to answer my questions and was very personable. I was never rushed nor pressured for add-on services or extra (unnecessary) medication, which I really appreciated. Days later, when I had a concern that one of his stitches might have come loose, I was able to email over a picture to Dr. Codde to see if I needed to bring him in. I was promptly called back and told that what I saw was perfectly normal. And it was. Over the years with my animals I have had both good and horrific experiences with different veterinarians, but this by far was the best first impression I have ever had. My final bill was even cheaper than the low cost option from the SPCA and surprisingly even a few bucks less than the original quote. I also found it a nice gesture that on top of the check-in call I got from the vet tech, I also received a handwritten card in the mail welcoming me to their practice and a short background on the staff. Best of all, he's all healed up like nothing happened :) It just so happens that Dr. Codde runs a golden retriever rescue too - in case I needed yet another reason to know I had just found the right vet. I would 100% recommend Dr. Codde and Cherry Creek to anyone looking for a quality vet that's reasonably priced.

I don't know why there's so many negative reviews, so we wanted to share that we love Cherry Creek Vet!! The staff are so amazing and love my dogs! I definitely couldn't imagine taking them anywhere else!

I've been with this hospital since we moved last year. We had been seeking a vet. So far Dr. Codde has been extremely amazing. We are always so happy to see her! The vets here are all detailed and are very through. The prices are reasonable and they are local to us! Out of all the vets we have ever seen, Dr. Codde has been steadfast in her positivity and energy. We were told by many people our dog was super anxious and didn't do well letting strangers touch her. Dr Codde was able to keep her calm and even remove the foxtail off her paw without needing to put her under! We will continue to trust Cherry creek with our animals. Of course one of reason that this place is so busy is because it is that good. Thank you staff at cherry creek.

He is compassionate, thorough, and genuinely cares about his patients. I've also had good experiences with one or two staff members, but unfortunately my interactions with much of the rest of the staff have been disappointing. My dog, Bodhi, had surgery at RAMC in July 2025 to remove several lumps. During surgery, Dr. Singh found another lump within the same incision site, removed it, and didn't charge me for the additional removal. I truly appreciated his thoughtfulness and care. At Bodhi's bandage removal appointment, a younger male technician handled the visit. I asked to stay with my dog, and he agreed. The bandage was adhered tightly, and although he initially used adhesive remover, he quickly became impatient and began ripping the bandage off. Bodhi was clearly uncomfortable, and I left wondering how he would have been treated if I hadn't been present. I returned in September 2025 for another FNA, and once again Dr. Singh was excellent. In early June, Bodhi needed another FNA. Because of my previous experience, I requested that the same technician not handle my dog. Dr. Singh understood my concerns and was very reassuring. A week later, Bodhi was diagnosed with lymphoma. After discussing my options, I initially considered less invasive treatment before deciding on palliative care. Dr. Singh had advised me to stop Apoquel because lymphoma was suspected, so Bodhi spent nearly two weeks suffering from severe itching while I weighed my options. I contacted the office to ask about Laverdia, an oral chemotherapy medication. I was told they had spoken with Dr. Singh, ordered the medication, and would contact me when it arrived. They also recommended seeing an oncologist, which was difficult because appointments and callbacks took several days. I never received a follow-up. After six days, I reached back out because I had no choice but to start Bodhi on prednisone due to his worsening itching and enlarging lymph nodes. In that same email, I also requested refills for his prednisone and gabapentin since I was only given a 22 day supply. Again, I received no response. Maybe they eventually would have answered if I had continued calling or emailing, but by then I had lost confidence in the staff. I was left wondering whether I would have made different treatment decisions had someone simply followed through with the communication they promised. Aside from one longtime veterinary technician, I also found the front desk staff to be cold during one of the hardest moments of my life. I wasn't expecting sympathy, but a few kind words would have meant a great deal. Dr. Singh is the reason this review is three stars instead of one. He treated Bodhi with compassion and treated me with empathy throughout this difficult process. Unfortunately, the lack of communication and follow-through from the rest of the staff overshadowed an otherwise positive experience. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I felt this one was important. When a family is facing the loss of a beloved pet, timely communication matters. I hope this feedback encourages RAMC to improve so other families don't experience the same frustration during such a difficult time.

I asked to speak with the vet which she refused and said no matter what that Dr. Gill would back her up.(I did not know that managers now have a license to practice veterinarian services.) I also found out that this clinic is now owned by a corporation, not the same as when Dr Buhliar owned the practice. Also as some have preiously mention, you do not go back with your pet as in the past. This office also has a turn over of staff. Just a side note. $20.00 for the Technician assessment which I am not sure what the Technician assessed and $9.99 to dispose of the needle. its crazy. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG TO THIS VET…read more On April 12th we took our dog in to an emergency appointment and it was the worst mistake we could have made. Our dog was experiencing pain on one of her hind legs. After $1200, she was misdiagnosed with a partial ligament tear, was given anti-inflammatory meds and we went off with a plan to return on April 17th for follow up blood work as her CBC (WBC) were dangerously low. On Wednesday, April 15 my dog began vomiting and having bloody diarrhea, I contacted Dry Creek the next day to give them an update and was told to monitor and keep the planned appointment for April 17th. On April 17th we went back and my dog was experiencing a very high fever, I told them I didn't want to continue to give her the carprofen because I think that's what caused the upset stomach, I had last administered it on Thursday April 16th. Dr Lehil agreed and changed her anti-inflammatory meds, and prescribed other meds (antibiotics). Kept our dog for the day and released her that evening after she was showing no signs of a fever. During the weekend my dog stopped eating and drinking water and we were to return on Monday, April 20th for yet another follow-up. At that time my dog had a fever again, and we were told we could keep her there or take her to another vet - that's when I should have ran but because they knew what was going on with my dog, had administered bloodwork, etc we kept her there for the day. At 5 pm when we picked her up my dog still had a fever and we were told it was because she was excited while she was kenneled. The Dr (a different vet) told me to take her off of the anti-inflammatory and put her on a strict bland diet. They also prescribed more meds that I never gave my dog because I was petrified of how my dog would react to yet more medication. We took her home and by 7 pm I was rushing her to VCA Loomis for an emergency. My dog became unstable and began breathing rapidly and her fever had increased, in addition I noticed her paw was injured while at Dry Creek earlier that day. VCA Loomis did an ultrasound and when I shared with the vet that they changed out her anti-inflammatory pills from one day to the next she became concerned that my dog may have developed an ulcer as it is recommended that at least 5 days pass before a new anti-inflammatory is administered. In fact, the ultrasound determined my dog had quite a bit of inflammation to her GI system. In addition, the vet at VCA Loomis told me my dog had a complete tear of the ligament and not partial as we had previously been told by Dr. Lehil. I called Dry Creek asking to talk to the owner or office manager and they never called, I went in 2 weeks later and was told the owner would call me. She called the next day and basically said they did what was recommended, didn't take responsibility for any of it and put it on me saying I had the option of taking her to VCA Loomis. All in all, we spent close to $3500 at Dry Creek and my dog's health only deteriorated. If it weren't for VCA Loomis we may have lost her.

I was then told she would need to return every two weeks for additional ear checks, with a charge for each visit. I am unfortunately looking for a new vet after my recent experiences at VCA…read more Over my last two visits, I became increasingly concerned about the quality of care and the apparent lack of organization within the clinic. On multiple occasions, I received calls asking whether my dog was on flea and heartworm medication--even though those medications are prescribed and refilled directly through VCA. I was later told there had been confusion because the clinic was short-staffed and records had not been updated. As a pet owner, it was very concerning to hear that my dog's medical records were not being properly maintained. During my dog's first Lepto vaccine appt, the vet tech appeared very nervous and skipped basic assessment steps. She was unable to take his temperature and simply said, "Oh, you said he's been fine anyway," before moving on. That did not inspire confidence. Unfortunately, the second vaccine appt was not much better. When I requested to accompany my dog to the exam area, the same tech seemed irritated and stopped me from going back, saying she needed to find a room first. This was confusing, as I assumed a room would already be available if my dog was being taken back. The interaction felt rushed, dismissive and extremely uncomfortable. The appt itself lasted only a few moments. No wellness questions were asked, no discussion took place about how my dog had responded to the first vaccine, and the shot was administered immediately. The front desk experience was also frustrating. When I politely asked whether my dog's records had been updated, the staff seemed annoyed by the question. They also asked me to place my dog on the scale three separate times because no one was paying attention or recording his weight. I understand that veterinary clinics can be busy and short-staffed, and I truly try to be understanding. However, accurate medical records, basic communication, and thorough patient care are fundamental expectations. My dog means everything to me, and after these experiences, I no longer feel comfortable trusting his care to this clinic.

There a lot of things that worry you when taking your kitten to another country. Even when using a…read morepet relocation service you just end up with a lot of questions. So let me explain. The service and warmth that every member of the staff delivered was above every vet I've been to. Front desk was kind and straight forward. Even with the complications of traveling with my cat overseas I wasn't overwhelmed by paperwork. I was seen as soon as possible even though I was there possibly an hour early. Nothing but smiles out of the first person I met that inspected my little girl. She explained everything that was going to happen and was genuine when she asked "is that OK?". Even when you, yourself go to the Dr there isn't much debate when it comes to shots. They simply tell you what to do and suddenly you're getting jabs of something in your arm. This was completely different. They wanted to know if I was OK with what was about to happen and let me know every step of the way what they were doing. Absolutely love this. When you're over protective of your animal this makes a big deal mentally. I didn't think anything strange was going to happen and knew, thanks to them telling me, exactly what my girl was about to go through. This means a lot. In the end my poor kitten did have some gum issues. Dr. Chloe told me this directly and then expanded on what I can do about it. That's something hard to tell a pet guardian. I think my mouth dropped. None the less I needed to know and she somehow delivered it to me without me freaking out. It's the balance of "this is what's going on" and then "this is how you handle it". Can't thank her enough. It's a 10 of 10 when it comes to veterinarian hospitals. They are simply the best. Also without spoiling anything, your wait in the lobby might just make you double take. The moment I felt slightly bored I just went WOW. It's surprise, I won't spoil it for you. It's just another detail that makes taking your little (or big) animal to the vet a much nicer experience. They really are the best.
