History
Established in 1975.
Dianne and Ronald Sikkila began their business in Cherry, Minnesota in 1975 with one small greenhouse. As their business expaneded over the years, they added seven more greenhouses plus a separate retail center. In 2000, their son Jon joined the business and opened a second "Cherry Greenhouse" in nearby Chisholm.
Meet the Business Owner: Dianne and Ron S.
Ron was raised in Northern Minnesota, and while working in Western Minnesota, met and married Dianne Larson from that area. In 1974, they moved to Cherry, Minnesota where, in 1975, they opened the Cherry Greenhouse on their property. In addition to growing up on farms, they have received significant training continue to do so to keep current with their products, regulations, and trends. Together with their son, Jon, who manages the Chisholm greenhouse and store, and their 35 or so employees, they consistently deliver superb customer service and the best qualiity and selection of plants, trees, and garden supplies to customers throughout Northern Minnesota.
