I had a very disappointing experience at Cherry Hill Dental that I feel others should be aware of. I went in for a cleaning on April 24, 2025, and no one told me beforehand that my insurance (Delta Dental) wouldn't cover it. I later found out -- two months after the visit when I called Delta myself -- that I wasn't eligible for another cleaning until May 6th. Had they been honest upfront, I would have simply rescheduled. To make matters worse, they charged me for X-rays they already had from my previous dentist. Cherry Hill even confirmed they received them the day before my appointment -- yet they took more and billed me anyway without ever discussing it. At the end of the appointment, they mentioned I needed a filling, but told me I couldn't even schedule it unless I paid in full or signed up for a payment plan. That was the first time it was brought up -- nothing about that was mentioned before or during the actual appointment. I even asked them to review their video footage to prove that someone came in to explain these charges ahead of time -- because no one did. Everything was only discussed after the fact, at the front desk, which left me with unexpected bills. This office seriously lacks transparency and communication. I've never had an experience like this at any other dental office, and I won't be returning. Be careful and ask a lot of questions -- because they won't volunteer the info. read more

We used the Columbia office for my daughter and had an excellent experience. So I visited the JC office for my dental work. The staff at the JC office were incredibly unprofessional and totally unresponsive. I was repeatedly promised return phone calls from the insurance coordinator and support staff- literally calling from February through June-their staff totally dropped the ball and NEVER would call back although every time I spoke with them they guaranteed me they would call back THAT DAY! After 5 months of unprofessionalism, we are DONE with Cherry Hill Dental!!! I wish I had read other reviews- the Columbia location has a "good" rating- the JC office, very "poor"! I have always been a high anxiety patient when it comes to the dentist, after a friend referred me to cherry hill dental I don't think I could go anywhere else. The entire staff is amazing from the moment called to make my appointment, walked in to the office up to the time I left. I also have my kiddos going to cherry hill as well and they love their new dentist, they have even said they like cherry hill much more! And finally after many years I summed up the courage to get braces thanks to the staff explaining why I was having issues and giving me options on how to correct them without any pressure. What a scam . Terrible customer service, lure you in with " free teeth whitening ", then after your initial examination, sorry, can't do the whitening procedure until you have other fee based services performed. Decline the fee services, you get billed anyway.... what a joke. Oh, and dispute the fees and the response is... collections! For $55 in "new patient set up fees." Stay away from this bait and switch operation. Oh, and their fees were 3-4 times comparable services in the area. Went to Cherry Hill for a Root canal, great friendly comfortable service except they botched the root canal. Pain for 12 months! 3 follow up visits and they gave every excuse possible. After 12 months I went for a second opinion agreed there was an issue who referred me to a specialist that also agreed there was an issue. Paid another several hundred dollars to be redone and now pain free. Not only did cherry hill deny their mistake, offer to redo it themselves or refuse to pay my new dentist to have it fixed, they refused to acknowledge I ever complained... Or return my calls. Yet continue to Bill me for follow ups. Red flag! Beware! Oh, and the free whitening kit... Billed to my insurance! Unfortunately I have to rate them very poor due to the continued issues. read more

I have been going to Cherry Hill for approximately two years now. I have done several treatments with them including: Invisalign, fillings, regular cleanings, and today, a root canal. They have always been very professional and friendly--both the staff and Dr. Mary & Dr. Tony. They may have a bit higher prices than the average dentist, but you get what you pay for sometimes. For me, its worth it. They also work much better with my insurance than other dentists and have an array of finance options, if you need them. read more

I love how they treated my children n got us to feels like we are more then a client. My kids always fought to go to a dentist and this is the only 1 that didn't fight to go back there to get there teeth done. They work with you on payments and they were fantastic and will for sure go back to them. I would tell anyone to go to them and get there teeth cleaned and more. Go to E. Great staff and office!!! I scheduled an appointment for a check up at this updated office. They checked for decay with x- rays and a lazer light. I had a few cavities which I already thought I had. I was lucky they were able to fix the cavities that day. I had NO PAIN at all. I was so thankful and I will recommend them to everyone! Thanks! Cherry Hill. read more

I went to the Jefferson City, MO. facility as well very nice. By the time they were done with all their photographs & visual inspection, xrays, I got nothing done to my teeth no cleaning no whitening they asked that I come back another time to do that. So I made an appointment only for them to call and cancel a week before I was due to go back and get my teeth cleaned and their so called free whitening. Never called me back to reschedule so I figured apparently they don't want my business I have decide to go somewhere else that will do the job I made the appointment for and not OVER charge me for the SAME service! Very Disappointed with their Service or lack there of!!!! I recommend you not go to this facility. Very long story, but in essence after 5 1/2 months I finally am not having any pain from the damage this company/dentists did to my temporal mandibular joint. I had an elective replacement of an old filling with a healthy nerve root (their words) and crown placed that took 6 treatments of sawing/chiseling on the crown to get a proper fit which lead to acute pain in both my upper and lower jaw, sinuses, and neck. After that they said I need a root canal done on the tooth they had been working on even though they said the root was healthy at every visit. The root canal would not be covered by the first payment of almost 1500.00 and would cost another 1700.00. I went for a second opinion and the dentist said the nerve is fine, he fixed another tooth, and place a new crown on it which only took one time of adjustment to fit properly. That dentist first treated me for possible abscessed tooth, then after no relief in pain, showed me the damaged adjacent tooth, corrected it and was better but the pain continued to persist. I saw my FNP to evaluate the pain, was given steroids, another antibiotic and then a CT scan to determine my temporal mandibular joint (TMJ) was damaged. I was then referred to an ENT who prescribed two different medications to treat the inflammation and damage of the joint, told to stick to soft foods, wear an oral appliance at night and if that doesn't work, I will need surgery which doesn't always work. Once I fired this office as my dental provider I received a bill for X rays that weren't covered by my original payment and when I refused to pay they sent it to a collection agency. It was not a large sum of money, but after all my expenses I incurred following their treatment, I am already out about 2,500.00. Their billing office refuses to remove this debt unless I can have one of my Dr.s say the damage to my TMJ is related to the repetitive injury from Cherry Hill Dental sawing on my tooth 7 times. Both have agreed to write the letters stating that the damage was caused by repetitive motion injury. Hopefully this will end my bad experience with Cherry Hill Dental. read more

Well my husband had not been to the dentist in awhile and had increased anxiety before his appointment. Doctor Miller was exceptional and provided great patient care. She really took the time to educate us on his condition. My husband required extraction of wisdom teeth. The dental assistant, I believe named Courtney, was so great about really explaining the procedure and being attentive to my husband. We scheduled the surgery but another male doctor did the surgery. The surgeon was not so attentive. I feel that they lacked at providing post op care instructions. When we came back for his new patient exam we had the same male dentist do the exam and diagnosed him with a long list of cavities and that was it. I felt like there was a lack of education on what was needed to fix the cavities. In the end they gave a very overestimated price for the fillings. Was impressed with Our first appointment but disappointed with the experience from that point on. I personally do not recommend this facility. read more

I went there about a month or two ago, they where supposed to fix a filling and clean up a little bit of decay on the tooth. The dentist Dan kept drilling and drilling (I think he was looking for gold or something.. lol) anyhow he stopped and said I have to call Tony and came back and finished and then after all was said and done, and they explained that I had a lot of decay and he drilled into my nerve and made it bleed and I could possibly have to have a root canal, and he was like sorry! I had to pay over $200.00 out of my own pocket not including what the insurance had to pay (total over $500.00) and all that just so he can jack up my tooth and be like "sorry" .. Sorry don't mean s&*$!!! My tooth is hurting worse and I'm not ever going back to them again, EVER! You can keep your free teeth whiting,... I don't even want to give Dr. Dan 1 freaking star but Yelp won't let me do a neg 1! read more
