The hygienist was so patient and did such a good job making her feel comfortable. Sunglasses, bibs, gloves...anything to make it fun. And Dr. Slaughter was the same. So friendly, explained everything he was doing to both her and me. Everyone doled out the high fives freely. Not kidding, on the car ride home, my daughter said, "That was so fun! I wish we could go there forever." High praise coming from a four-year-old speaking about a dentist. We'd recommend Riverbend to anyone looking for a dentist in Jefferson City. Never mind that they were also voted City's Best this year. Just icing on the cake.

Then they got her in Monday morning and Dr Johnson was arrogant and said anytime u get tooth pulled and you have a hole, it hurts. Well DUH, but this was a worse pain than normal. He said it was hard to tell if dry socket. But he made her feel dumb. She hadnt been to dentist in a long time and now is even debating going to another bc of this. Originally supposed to be two months ago, Im blue collar and can only dedicate a Saturday and told us that was fine until they said their dentist for that day decided they weren't coming in the day before. The entire staff were very friendly. We moved to Jefferson City late last year and had a really hard time finding an honest dentist who would not overcharge or offer services that we did not need. Other dentists I called wanted to talk about treatment plans before they even met my kids who have never had a cavity. Stadium Dental did x-rays and a cleaning without pushing anything on us. The Stadium Dental team took great care of my family. I can see why their reputation is so good. The pricing and location are great as well.

He's got 7 kids--def puts off dad vibes. I have terrible grinding problems due to an abnormal bite that wasn't discovered til I was too old to fix it. I've had 8 root canals, 1 retreat and 1 apicoectomy (that's the root canal surgery) all done by Dr May. I've not really had any pain during procedures. He does the anesthetic in the bone for lower teeth, really does make it painless. I typically don't have pain after the procedure either. I recommend a smooth milkshake after--no chewing. I'm an endo vet. I know what I'm talking about.
