One of two pools. This one has a kiddie area. There is also a splash pad. Lifeguards are on duty.

Really wish this place wasn't 1200 miles from us! Every single part of our experience here was perfect. The grounds are beautiful. Staff is constantly working to clean or maintain. There are two huge pools, a splash pad, a playground, and more. The tractor ride at sunset was something the kids looked forward to every evening. They also do a movie outside near the pools in the evening. They have food delivery to you at the pool or to your camper. If I had to have a negative, yes, you can hear traffic noise. But all the other positives strongly outweigh this one. Greenbelt metro is a quick drive from the campground and a straight shot on the green line to all the sites in DC.

We are on a cross country, RV trip and long story short landed in the DC area in the winter. This RV park has been amazing. I only wish we were here in the summer to enjoy all of the activities. The staff is super friendly the sites are spacious and clean and there are lots of amenities. We were able to take advantage of playing pickle ball, which was really fun. They came home also have an arrangement with a dog walker so we took advantage of that as well which helped us to extend our DC site seeing days. I cannot emphasize enough how friendly the staff is. I would definitely stay here again!

This is an awesome campground in close proximity to Washington DC. It's huge, but sites aren't cramped. Staff is super friendly/helpful. They have their own busses & staff for tours of the city. Leave from and return to the campground - very convenient. They offer discounts for multiple tours. Two pools, clean laundry areas. Dog walking services. There is a small cafe but we didn't use that service. I'd definitely go back again!

We loved this place! Easy and quick from the city and from the suburbs. We did a premium camp site and it was worth every penny. You get a covered gazebo with chairs and a table. There is also an electric outlet. There is also a shaded hammock area next to fire pit and chairs. There is also a grill and you can park your car right next to the area. It is all so convenient. The bathroom was a 2 minute walk and it was SO clean. We liked all the amenities and had so much fun. The pool and splashpad was great. Minigolf was super fun. They even have tractor rides at night! We can't wait to come back. There is quiet time starting at 10pm every night.

We can't say enough positive about CHP!! The management has every convenience and transportation available. Every evening, an information session is offered on how to go from CHP to DC without driving. Metro bus and rail is very easy to use. CHP offers beautiful level sites, cottages, pools, nice laundry, very clean and updated bathrooms, as well as a restaurant/cafe. The office includes a huge store with necessities and souvenirs. Additionally, tours are offered. The website is one of the most informative ones I've used. Thanks CHP for our DC adventure! We stayed in our motorhome at site 414.

We had a great first RV experience here. Friendly staff, well cared for grounds. A fair amount of highway noise but that's what happens with highways. Everything was easy and we had some nice walks, wish we could have stayed longer. The RVs are very close to one another but it was fine. One group had a very bright spotlight hanging from a tree but it was only for one night of our stay. New to this, it felt obnoxious but thankfully they left after our first night.

This RV Park gets 5 stars on all accounts. But its greatest asset is the staff. Everyone that works here is very friendly and helpful. Their customer service is excellent, but I believe each of them truly loves working at this park. The park has good access to transit to get into the Capital and other sites in DC. The park has numerous that keep you busy without having to leave. There are beautiful trails and parks to explore. The overall appearance is breathtaking. The guests at the park were very diverse, all ages, backgrounds and races, which made us feel very comfortable. DO'S & DONT'S: DO follow the staff's instructions when using the Metro bus line and train into DC. Especially the instructions for the return trip! DO NOT listen to the instructions of the Metro staff when trying to return to the park. We did not pay much attention to the RV park staff's instructions and asked several of the Metro employees how to get back to the RV park. They sent us on a wild goose chase back and forth on the trains and buses for two hours. When we got back and asked the RV staff, their instructions were clear and easy to follow.

This is an amazing park for anyone wanting to be near DC to camp. The full park is extensive including a bus station with a Metro bus stop to get you to the Metro subway, mini golf, pool, cafe and a very large, well stocked camp store with anything you may need for food or camp supplies! We definitely plan to stay again and recommend to anyone wanting to camp close to DC

Most people know Adventure Links for their popular camp programs for children and teens. However, they also offer stellar corporate team building programs, which is how I got to know them. About five years ago, as the CEO of a growing company of 20 professionals, I was struggling with how to address some growing pains and spice up our upcoming quarterly retreat. A friend recommended Adventure Links, so I scheduled a meeting with Anna, the CEO. Anna came to my office and interviewed me to understand my business, our challenges, and what I hoped to accomplish. She asked many questions, listened, and took notes. The next week, we took our team of 20 to their retreat location. Anna and her team had put together an all-day agenda of activities that went way beyond simple ropes courses. What surprised and "sold" me on them was how she'd managed to incorporate our growing pains into her exercises in meaningful ways. Sure, we had fun and bonded, but more importantly most of us began to see certain everyday problems in meaningful new ways, with fresh solutions. To this day our team references those exercises like old Seinfeld episodes. After each exercise - some physically challenging and all mentally challenging - Anna would bring us together and help us draw correlations to some of our corporate issues. It helped that she has a sharp wit and great sense of humor. She and her team also knew when to push and put us on the spot to drive home a point. Six months later, we wanted to bring Adventure Links back for another quarterly retreat, but this time due to bad weather we had to do the exercises in our office. They totally pulled it off! The indoor exercises were unique and again gave us a fresh perspective on both issues and people. An example - during one intense exercise where we split into two teams, a junior staff person had a "eureka!" moment with a brilliant solution to a problem, and spontaneously took control of our team, which included several executives. I had no idea this young lady was so intellectually gifted and capable of leadership under pressure. How valuable is that information for an employer? My firm has engaged Adventure Links several times since then, all with success. When my children are old enough, I'll be sending them to the Adventure Links camps...I know they'll learn and have fun. Adventure Links rocks!

Tubing Review: We had an amazing time. Was is exhausting,…read moreyes. Worth it, yes! Owen was great. He was a great driving the stick shift bus back to the outfitters. It was nice being dropped off and picked up. We did have issues with our card online, but when I called in to book, Nancy was helpful. She got us all situated and sent an email to confirm. We filled out waivers online which was a breeze. We watched a quick safety video, picked up our lifevest and were on our way. The water was the perfect temp, and it was clear. Tips: bring snacks and water. You are out there 4-5 or longer hours. Especially if the water is low, which ours was. We used a waterproof bag and had no issues. We used a tube with a cup holder which was nice. I wore my life vest out of precaution even though I can swim, plus it made it comfortable for my to use it as a neck rest. I've noticed people mention in previous reviews that the bus was dirty ect. Um, you're in the woods. If you get picked up after many other groups the bus will be dirty as everyone is wet coming out of the water no matter what activity you choose. I would not own a brand spanking new vehicle for this type of environment and job. Used is best and saves money I'm sure. Wear a hat and sunglasses, put in that sunscreen. Bring a waterproof phone case/bag. You will have no service out there so put it on airplane mode and use it as a camera.
