I've lived here for a few years and have seen such great improvement in the community! From the amenities, grounds, landscaping, and even the renovations they've made to a lot of the units. It's also very quiet. I hardly ever hear any noise inside my apartment, which is an added plus. One thing I love the most about living here is the staff. From living here for so long, I've really come to know the ladies in the office but overall, the staff is very friendly, considerate, and helpful! If I could give zero stars, I would. This apartment complex has been one of the most disappointing living experiences I've ever had. The management is unresponsive, unprofessional, and honestly doesn't seem to care about the residents at all. Maintenance requests either go ignored or take forever to be completed, and when they finally do show up, the "repairs" are quick patches that don't actually fix the problem. The appliances are outdated and barely function. Expect leaky faucets, constantly broken washers/dryers, and kitchen appliances that feel like they belong in a thrift store. For the rent they charge, it's unacceptable. Cleanliness is another huge issue. The hallways and common areas are consistently dirty, and the trash situation is terrible. Many tenants leave garbage in the wrong places, and management does nothing about it. It creates an unpleasant and messy environment that makes the entire complex feel neglected. Overall, between the lack of care from management, the poor condition of the units, and the messy, noisy tenants, I would not recommend this place to anyone. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere--there are far better options in the area for the same (or even less) rent. I will be canceling my lease early I can't imagine keeping my children here any longer read more

The towers are in desperate need of a power washing. The exterior is covered in black soot and the place is looking haunted.

I have so many issues with this place. weed and cigarette smells come through my apartment, no one answers the phone. everything brakes and when they say they will fix it or they will be up that day its a lie! the lobby and elevators are disgusting. they have no maintenance crew apparently and the office people say everything anything to get you off the phone and you are never allowed to speak to the manager. I wait 2-3 weeks every time I need maintenance help even if it's an emergency and I call everyday. I would never recommend here read more

No security at all filthy hallways with over flowing garbage chutes, spit and urine in elevators, weed smell in hallways, elevators and my apartment! Unsafe!! I lived at this complex for 8 years. The last couple of years under new management, this complex has not been well managed or maintained. This is not a luxury building as advertised and this is not just with aesthetics......Unfortunately management is so overwhelmed with complaints that nothing is ever reconciled. I chose not to re new my lease here because the building/ community no longer appealed to my expectations any longer. This is so unfortunate because the community is centrally located with easy access to Philly and all the favorable shopping hubs....Hopefully this review will help someone looking for a rental to make an informed selection in a rental. This place is horrible, not clean, not safe, Arabic kids running around all times of the night everyday making noise. Work orders barely get done. This place is not safe at all last year someone's car got stolen, a bunch of catalytic converter on residents car. My car was hit and run right in front of the camera and they said they couldn't discloses evidence because it was against private policy! They said they were going to hire police to circle around at night, that lasted about a week. read more

I lived at Cherry Hill Towers for a year and overall I really enjoyed my experience there. The apartments are nice, updated, and it's priced fairly reasonable for the area. Pros: The location is great. It's right on 38 across from the mall so you're so close to everything. Also, there's a back exit so you can come out at the light and not have to u-turn on 38. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. From the maintenance to the people working in the office, they're very friendly. The complex is very big and clean. They clean the complex pretty much every day and have great upkeep of the grounds. There's a pool and a gym. Both are great additions to have in your complex. Cons: The air unit is SO loud you can barely hear when it's on. I literally had to turn the TV up when it's on and can't hear people who aren't in the room when it's on. It's extremely inconvenient to recycle. You have to go all the way to the 1st floor and out to the dumpster to recycle. That's a huge pain and made me not want to recycle. The washer and dryer in 1 that we had was awful. It was so small and took 3 hours a load. You had to do 4 small loads and it would take 12 hours to finish. Most people that live here are great. But there are a lot that are rude. They're scared of a puppy in a complex that's the most dog friendly I've ever toured. They actually have dog poop bags all around the back of the complex for tenants to use. Some people would refuse to get on the elevator with my black lab/border collie puppy that's the friendliest puppy there is. He's literally got PTSD from some of the people that screamed and ran when they saw him. Now, he's scared of people he doesn't know. It was frustrating on a daily basis. If an apartment complex allowed you to walk your snake around I wouldn't live there. Yet, they're scared of dogs and they still live there. All in all, I did like CHT. I would recommend it to anybody that doesn't have a dog. My recommendation to management. Lower the parking fees for out back and underneath. It's empty because it's too expensive. If it were $10 a month up top and $25 below instead of $25 and $50 I would have purchased two spots. read more

I lived at Cherry Hill Towers for the past year with my boyfriend and dog. I will say overall we really liked our experience here, with a few notable things you may want to take into consideration before deciding to move here. Pros: 1. Location is great-so close to lots of NJ towns and to Philly 2. Maintenance is always quick to answer calls and to finish whatever needs repair. 3. The facilities are nice to have and well kept, each building has it's own gym. 4. The apartments are generally nicer and more updated than others in the area that are listed at comparable prices. Cons: 1. We had a one bedroom apartment that had a washer/dryer combo machine. IT WAS AWFUL. It takes at least 3 hours to do one load of wash that is 1/4 the size of a normal load of wash; I got to the point of where I stopped using it all together and would let my laundry pile up and pay to do 4 or 5 loads at once in the basement laundry room. 2. The air conditioner is so loud, we were constantly turning the TV volume up and down whenever it would go off. 3. The "neighbors". Now, I know this is not something CHT can control and there were some very nice people here, but it severely impacted our experience. We have a black lab/border collie mix who was around 3 months old when we moved in and was the sweetest puppy, as they usually are. So many people in the building hate dogs they would literally refuse to ride the elevator with him or would scream when they saw him. A small PUPPY, and not a "scary" dog breed either. This affected our dog so bad that he is now afraid of strangers because he feels they all hate him. This infuriates us even more since there plenty of apartment complexes in the area that do not allow for any pets that those people could have (should have) chose to live in. We ended up buying a house with a fenced yard in an extremely dog friendly community so we cannot be happier. Overall, it's a decent place to live if you don't have any pets. Also, when they sent us information to renew they raised the rent-we had already started the process of purchasing our house so it wasn't a conversation-but we saw our apartment is listed on their website to rent for cheaper than what they offered us to renew for, so definitely negotiate if they try to do that to you. read more

Not worth it. When I moved into the building I was told that the walls were super thick and there was virtually no noise transfer, that was a lie. I could hear the neighbours to my left watching tv and laughing, I could hear the kid o the apartment to the right bouncing off the walls. The neighbor across the hallway was a drunk lowlife and he and his girlfriend would get into yelling matches and fights at all times and would take then to the hallway, the finally decided to keep them within their walls when I called the cops on them, thanks CHPD! Since the new management took over I was never able to get an answer on anything on a timely manner, I moved out a month ago and I still can't get an answer on hen or how I will get my deposit back. You call an offsite center and they take a message for someone to call back but that never happens, and this is not isolated to this incident. The personnel at the office are OK. ONe thing I absolutely hated is that the doors are self locking, they close and automatically lock so if you lock yourelf out which is bound to happen they will charge you $60 on off hours to go unlock you. I have never had that kind of look before and I hate it, turned a simple run to the grocery store for $ 10 of goods into a $70 issue. Before I moved out a lady moved into the building to ne of the top floors and she is afraid of dogs, so if you were waiting for the elevator and had your dog with you she would just say, sorry afraid of dogs and close te door on you and leave you waiting. Don't know,perhaps she should have moved to a No Dog Complex. It's full of nuisances, the lack of responsiveness from the management is ridiculous. No, I would not recommend this place. read more

The residents here are all nice people. When I meet fellow residents in the halls or on the elevator, everyone says hello, or gives you a smile. It's very nice and easy going. The building is immaculately clean. Every morning I see the cleaning lady in the lobby and she always gives a friendly wave and a big smile. It's a great place to live. The staff in the office are friendly and nice, and every interaction is always nice. The one fly in the ointment has been a parking problem in the rear lot. It seems to me that in a more serious way than ever before, the company is giving attention to it, and I will be the first to give them applause for it. I had a previous 1 star review due to the problem with parking issues in the rear lot, but I can see the property owner is working to address it, and this makes me hopeful that the future looks bright. I feel that generally speaking, I was getting a lot of nice emails about the parking problem that sounded like something was getting done, but then the problem still wouldn't get solved. This went on for a couple of months. I have always felt it could be solved by doing a better job of informing residents about the parking policy so they would stop parking in other people's spaces. Just recently, over the past week, I have seen the company make an announcement to the community about parking in an email, and I see a new sign in the parking lot informing people about the policies. It has me hopeful that this issue of people parking in my space will at long last be solved. I don't think we can ever expect perfection, but I at least feel like someone is working hard on the issue, and that is all I can ask for. I am thankful to the people who run this property for addressing it. As time goes on, I am looking forward to raising this to a 5 star review. Keep up the great work. read more

It has been a very positive experience, the management team could not be more helpful and the maintenance guys were fast to respond to the minor issues we had in the apartment. This place is a mess!! I been here for 7 years and I have never seen it this bad. I moved here with my daughter thinking I was moving to a secure, clean, and upscale environment but that was all taken away once the new management took over in November 2018. Since they took over this place looks and is ran like low income ghetto projects. We have a shooting, several fires (alarms don't work), they are moving in tons of gang bangers with their teenage baby mamas, weed reeks in most hallways, the pool has turned into a nasty public pool, the grounds are covered in trash at all times, apartments are over crowded with 5 generations of people living inside, elevators are always broke, kids are always playing in gym like amusement park, people pee in stairwell, delivered packages get stolen often, we have to pay for a bunch of utility fees for no reason, rent fluctuates every month, etc... DONT MOVE HERE!!! NOT LUXURY!!! read more

I just recently moved to Cherry Hill Towers, and I have to say what a beautiful apartment it is that I now live in. The kitchens are new and modern, and the rooms are a great size, especially the master bedroom and the bathrooms. There is plenty of closet space, and the view from my apartment is wonderful, as I can see Center City. I love how much light I get in my apartment, and how convenient I am to everything, including grocery shopping, the Cherry Hill Mall, restaurants, target and more. I have friends that live in PA, and now I'm just minutes away. Cherry Hill Towers also has great amenities, including a beautiful pool and clubhouse, walking paths, 2 fitness centers, 2 game rooms, 2 business centers and 2 extra storage rooms for residents to store extra items like decorations in. I checked out all of the properties in the area, and I felt that this was not only the nicest one, it had the nicest staff, and it suited my needs the best. Speaking of the staff, they are wonderful. The maintenance guys are great, and they respond immediately if you need anything fixed. I think they left my apartment cleaner after they left than when they entered. The management staff is also wonderful, as they care about everything, and are willing to listen to all concerns, and then act upon them. One of the leasing consultants even bakes for the residents! All in all, I think that this is the nicest apartment I've ever had, and I would highly recommend this to everyone looking in the Cherry Hill area. read more

I lived here for a few months and had a terrible experience with management. The apartment was ok for a short term, except we had a bug problem. However, there is a problem of theft in the apartment complex and the management won't address it. I had multiple packages stolen from my front door, when the complex guarantees that we would have our packages always delivered to the front desk. I spoke with multiple other residents who said they have had packages stolen, and a member of their maintenance team said he knew of someone whose television was stolen. After literally begging management to help me look into who had stolen my package (that had a computer in it), they continued to say it wasn't their problem and ultimately just stopped responding. I highly recommend living elsewhere if you want to feel safe/comfortable in your own building. read more

This place is nothing but a fraud! They LIE, They show you an A+ model and put you in a D- apt. I have one of the higher end apts and what a joke. When I moved in it was so obvious it was not checked. They even admitted it and when I showed them how dirty the bathroom was I was told. Never any hot water, (You pay 25.00 in addition to your rent so they try to save money) No water in the toilet so its constantly clogged, you call they hand you a plunger They bathtub is very cheap plastic and you need a sandblaster to try and get it clean I don't even use is because it's too embarrassing if I have guests, (Never any hot water) They place was a mess when I got here, I called and although a few things were fixed most was not. I waited 3 months to get others things fixed (I was trying to be patience) only to be told by the manager "I have people to report to" This place is a joke thats why it's half empty. They flat out lied to me. They think we are stupid. They painted over holes in the wall. The carpet is awful, The kitchen is an illusion. Your plates can only fit into one cabinet because the rest of the shelves only come out about only 10 inches so nothing fits. Everything is old. I did call the first day and although certain things were corrected others just were not. Their attitude was as if I should be lucky to be here. If you have a major issue (Which I have had several) they act like you got the problem when they didn't do their job. They totally lied about the incentives- The shuttle, the gym, The weights are gone because they don't chek the place, (Half stocked, old equipment) the sauna is always broke, The elevators are constantly broke. One time they were out for 12 days and then we received a letter from Katrina (Office Manger) stating "Great News we found a contractor NO not great news she was too cheap to call an emergency service because she made it very clear to us residents she only cares about Viking and not use she told me that to my face that's why half this place is empty. There is NO WAY Viking is aware of what's going on here. They are losing money I know I am an expert in Finance. You use to be able to use the back gate which was a great convenience to those who don't have a car or when driving home from Phila. or if you just want to walk to Target or the diner since they are so close now you can't. It may not sound like much but it all adds up and there is no reason for it. Katrina said "OH it could be bad if someone at night drives back there and they gate is closed, "Well then they will turn around it was open for years,what she doesn't know is that it's now more dangerous because people are getting out of there cars and manually opening it. You use to be able to use the clubhouse, They took that away. I was told that when I first signed up here, I scheduled a shower, then Katrina decided to paint, then I was told "Sorry No One can use the club house anymore" I asked the leasing agent and he told me Well Katrina just painted. They are telling so many different stories either way it doesn't matter you can't use incentives to get people in then take them all away. Every other Viking Property allows their residents to use their club houses if they have one. The bathtubs are made of cheap plastic. You can never get them clean. You can't even put a bottle of shampoo on the edges-The toilets are constantly clogged you tell maintenance because it's not normal and they handed me a plunger. You pay 25.00 for water they are so cheap there is only about a 1/2 gallon of water in the toilet so nothing flushes. No water comes from the top so it gets dirty very fast so you better clean it daily and have a good plunger. This place is a joke I should have moved to Ramblewood Village and saved 400 to 500 a month. I would have had a fire place and much nicer people. Viking promoted Katrina because they actually think she makes them money NO she doesn't, The residents were happy she was gone a very nice lady named Cathy came, she cared, things started to get better but when she realized they were frauds she walked out within a month. Now guess who we are stuck with. Just ask any resident I'm telling the truth! (BTW They write their own reviews did I mention they raise the rent every year, its only supposed to be 25 they raised mine 50) read more

After reading reviews at other places I can safely recommend Cherry Hill Towers. Not perfect but certainly not the worst place to rent. Things do break often. The elevators and the washing machines mostly. The maintenance crew is responsive and respectful. Sometimes management promises things that never happen. You cannot hear your neighbors through the walls or ceilings -- sometimes loud noises above will come through. The apartments are fine but they aren't luxury--they are normal, home depot cupboard-type apartments. Bathrooms are nice size. I always feel completely safe at Cherry Hill Towers and walk all over the neighborhood. Looking at the reviews of other places in the area I feel confident recommending this place. It's nice enough and it's ok living here. Had to leave temporarily but may return in Fall. Was told they don't take out of your deposit for painting--if I don't get what I expect from my deposit, I'll return and update. If I do, consider it a positive experience. Update: They took $500 out of deposit and wouldn't call back to explain why, but I can't see that's any different from any other apartment--they all act like the deposit is extra rent. read more

I lived at Cherry Hill Towers for 2 years. (I would have moved out after the first but was unable) ALL Smoke and Mirrors. They take you through 2-3 apts that were never lived in leading you to believe this is what your apt will look like,,,what a joke They over charge, they LIE, they raised my rent 315.00 . If a special is going on the current residents are not entitled to it. The elevators are CONSTANTLY broke, and they do not care. Once you sign the lease you mean nothing to them. (The place is now full of section 8) The toilets do not flush (They only have cup of water in them) The washer/dryer unit NEVER works, forcing residents to use their expensive laundry mat in the basement. The dryer in your apt works off of steam and takes 3 (YES 3) Hours for a pair of jeans to dry. Its awful, Tim the maintenance manger tries to get you to actually believe that that the steam units are better (He must think we are all stupid) My electric bill was over 350.00 because they refuse to upgrade the HVAC. (The place is at least 20 years old its time to upgrade but they won't). They do not secure the rug and then blame and charge you when it comes up while your are trying to clean it. Its just awful, I was told we were allowed to use the club house prior to moving in, that was one of the reasons why chose that place to live, then the old manager Katrina (Very mean women) re-did the clubhouse and the residents are no longer allowed to use it anymore (Well what's it there for, I'll tell you, its there to Perpetrated a fraud) Don't waste your money.
