Our tour guide was the man and legend, Rob, who genuinely has a passion for bird rearing, bird knowledge, and sharing that love with others. We were greeted by Rob with a Great Horned Owl named Wisdom, later were introduced to Ginger the Kestrel, Amber the Turkey Vulture, and all birds in between. The birds get super excited everytime Rob would walk by or whenever they hear his voice and it's truly astonishing to see the companionship and level of trust between bird and man. Facility is incredibly clean, birds have multiple levels of obstacles and things to sit on, and all the birds have a say on whether or not they want to come out and be introduced to others. They invest a lot of time and energy into not only the birds but into the community themselves. 100% make sure to add this to the list and spread the word!

It's either a thumbs-up (yes, it's been a great seller and my customers are super positive about this item) or a thumbs-down (no, not a great choice, find something else). I found the clothing fits well, is sized accurately, and lasts a long time. I've worn pants and shirts from two years ago that still look great, even after heavy use. The outerwear like barn jackets and vests show literally no wear. While I'm sorry those most recent three reviewers didn't have a great experience, please do not overlook this gem of a shop. While it might not be on the main drag, it's but a short 10'ish minute walk from there over the bridge. And what views on the way! I appreciated that it had flexible hours and is a free dog park (suggested donation box avai). This is the biggest dog park that we've been to compared to the ones in IL and it's free! The park has 2 different areas that are gated and a place in the middle of the park if you want to switch over to the other gated park. Both parks are huge but the one to the right feels slightly bigger. The parks have dog bowls laying around for water and toy boxes available to use as well. Poop bags are available and it is encouraged that people pick up and toss their dogs' poo out in the trash on the way out. I stepped on poo the first time I came here and that was not pleasant...the 2nd time I came here, I didn't step on poo but there were poop bags laying around. It would be nice if people just picked up and threw away their own dogs' poop. Other than that, the park is overall clean. We'll be back if we are in the area again!

Discovered this place while using a detour south of Algoma. This is a spring fed lake that…read moreaverages 21 feet deep with 38 feet being the deepest point. The lake is 19 acres in size; and it's known for bluegills, brownies, rainbow trout and bass. Latest fishing info says trout are getting scarcer but bass are getting more prevalent. I believe it's catch and release. While we were there kids were swimming. Most of the bottom is termed "muck", while the bottom in the swimming area is sand. There are picnic tables, barbecue spots, a boat landing, a fishing pier and public bathrooms. Not much of a park (it's mostly a gravel parking lot). But the family we saw had set up tarp over one of the picnic tables and were having a great time. A nice place to take the family, swim in the lake and beat the heat. It's off of County Road K on County KK. Electric motors are allowed; but nothing else. If you're looking for a swimmin' hole that's off the beaten track it would behoove you to find this quiet little lake. If swimming is not your bag, bring a small boat and your fishing gear

I have been going to Virlee gun works for years because Scott is a great gunsmith and does amazing…read morework, so when I found the shooting range I was happy to try it. It is everything I would expect from Virlee. The place is immaculate, from the moment you walk in the door, the shoot is clean, bright and well organized. The people that work there were incredibly nice and helpful, explained how my membership worked, got me registered and then we were ready to go to the range, as expected safety first, you must have eye and ear protection on before you go into the anteroom. Everything was explained as we went in, how the lane works, different targets, how to change distance, clearing up your brass when you finish, etc. the range is state of the art, clean, and the lanes are a good size. They offer lessons, and have plenty of firearms to rent as well as ammo if needed (if you rent one of their firearms my understanding was you have to buy ammo from them for it). The memberships are a good value and there are different levels. The only downside for me is location, it is about a 40 minute drive from Green Bay, but worth it for everything a membership gets you, can't wait to go again.

The retail business has a wide selection of firearms of all types and calibers, including used guns. Prices on firearms and ammo are very reasonable. The shop is well laid out, clean, and organized, not so overcrowded that it's hard to tell one gun from another. There are daily range specials, firearm and suppressor rentals. Overall my experience today was superb. Virlee.had the item I was looking for in stock, gave me quality ammo recommendations, offers digital (vs. handwritten paperwork/form submission), and had me in and out in no time. I strongly recommend this shop and will return in the future.
