This store is simply a not miss for gear and clothing (can't speak to rentals). When asked for recommendations Mark is knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and decisive. It's either a thumbs-up (yes, it's been a great seller and my customers are super positive about this item) or a thumbs-down (no, not a great choice, find something else). I found the clothing fits well, is sized accurately, and lasts a long time. I've worn pants and shirts from two years ago that still look great, even after heavy use. The outerwear like barn jackets and vests show literally no wear. While I'm sorry those most recent three reviewers didn't have a great experience, please do not overlook this gem of a shop. While it might not be on the main drag, it's but a short 10'ish minute walk from there over the bridge. And what views on the way! I received the refund, then 2 days later, was charged $180 by them and they took the refund back? I called and left a voicemail but have not heard back. would recommend choosing a different company!!!!!!

Most of the people with us looked to be in decent shape and we're dying to get to the caves and we're dead on the way back. Hold on to your horses, and be ready to give up your arms to the endless paddling. The best comparison is being on a rowing machine for 2.5 hours non stop. Stop paddling and you get left behind to wine with all the others that can't paddle. For the majority of the group, this was an interesting attempt at turning a workout into a so called adventure. Save yourself the $65 per person, rent the kayak for $15/hr and paddle until your arms give out, or better yet, drive cave point and jump a few times for free! Btw.... There's only one small cave.

They have adaptive sailing classes, kayaking classes for people with autism, sailing options designed just for women, and even camps for kids. On the weekends, the rent out kayaks and sail boats in two-hour time periods. I got to go out on Green Bay with one of the junior sailors (he was in 11th grade, but a great sailor!) We took out a four-person catamaran, and glided through the gentle bay. I was a little nervous at first because water activities aren't really my thing, but they make everyone wear a life vest and explain everything beforehand. Once I was out on the water, I felt perfectly safe and it was a fun experience. Pro tip: You will get wet while sailing! I don't know what I was thinking and wore long linen pants, and they were drenched by the end of my excursion. I suggest wearing shorts or bringing a waterproof poncho. Also: There are no proper restroom facilities, just a port-a-potty, so keep that in mind when planning your day. Everyone at Green Bay Sail & Paddle were extremely kind and patient. Sailing on a catamaran was a fun way to see a different side of Green Bay!

We are 6 adults, and four little girls ages 5-7 We range from beginner to experienced with kayaking. Just before we went out, the weather changed so we came back in after half an hour. We ate in the restaurant while it poured, and then went back out for another 90 minutes. We got out on sand bars to visit and play. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. A staff member provides a comprehensive review of the boat and it's features, and then you are free to cruise the blue-green waters of the Chain O' Lakes all day. The pontoon (20' Hydrotherapy) was clean and comfortable, the canopy kept us shaded when the sun was hot, you have swim stairs in case you want to stop at a sandbar and cool off, and there were no issues at all with the motor. Plus they give you a map showing the lakes in the chain, detailing which ones are no-wake so the day was relaxing and trouble-free from start to finish.
