So be forewarned although this place is about my #1 pick for fish market, it is not the place to grab a lobster roll - plenty of lobster but a refrigerated previously made non toasted, non buttered roll fell way short of expectations- The shrimp cocktail to go at 13$ saved the day as far as lunch was concerned. You guys are missing the mark on the lobster rolls and could Probly double or triple your repeat business on those with a griddle and some butter.... That's all I came here for today- Still well staffed and well stocked with fresh fish but a big miss on the lobster roll-

Went here today and by 3 PM they still had a large, varied selection of fish/shellfish. Very fresh looking haddock, cod and more. Settled on the haddock and it was delicious. This is definitely my go to place for fish and seafood!

Honestly, every time I get the urge to come here it's after 5:30. Closing at 6 on the week days and 5 on the weekends is ridiculous.

I bought a 15 pound lobster and they steamed it perfectly. Took it home and two of us ate the whole thing. Beat lobster I ever ate.

Hey hey, we have a new fish market and restaurant in town!…read more While we've been buying fish from these fine people at their farmers market popups for several years now, it is great to see their new storefront and restaurant. The inside (and ourdoor patio) look great, is neat and filled with plenty of helpful staff. We visited on the Saturday after they opened and found lots of great fish options. They even had fresh Red Drum that they brought in from North Carolina. In addition to the fresh fish and oysters, they also have a nice selection of cryo packed frozen fish that is a bit more eclectic. For example, they offered Black Cod from Alaska, a real delicacy and hard to find in other markets. In addition to the fish market, they have a small restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is a bit limited, but I expect it will expand over time. We tried the fish tacos which were crisp, delicious and hot. Perhaps not the biggest portion, but they were only $6 a taco. We've always gotten fresh fish from these folks, and are delighted that we have yet another great option to buy fresh local and some unusual fish, as well as have a quick casual bite. Check them out!

I really appreciated the amount of fresh meat packed into the toasted brioche bun. However, the seasoning was a little too heavy on the mayonnaise, which masked the natural sweetness of the lobster. The side of French fries arrived piping hot and perfectly crispy. It is a decent option if you are craving seafood, though it needs minor tweaks. Overall, it was a perfectly average meal that left me satisfied but not entirely blown away. The Fried Clams which were a mixed of textures. Some of the clams were beautifully sweet and tender, while others were noticeably overcooked and chewy. The batter had a great crunch, but it lacked the necessary seasoning to make the dish pop. I also ordered a side of onion rings that were greasy, though they still had a decent flavor. The staff was incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was wonderful for a casual dinner. I might return eventually, but I am not in a rush. The shrimp looked fantastic when it arrived at our table with a beautiful golden-brown exterior. Unfortunately, the shrimp themselves were a bit rubbery and lacked that fresh, snappy bite you expect at a seafood joint. The French fries were standard, nothing spectacular, but they served their purpose as a side. It was a perfectly mediocre dining experience that did not justify the slightly high price tag. Despite the okay service, I will probably look for a different spot next time. If you want a cushy 11-to -7 this isn't it. This gig is seasonal, which means you have a small window to make your money and bust your tail.

The interior is very small so if you are a group, I recommend sending a designated person to order. We went standard Lobster Rolls with butter on the side. There was a little confusion about line order but they were very apologetic. There are very limited chairs in the lot to eat at and I think maybe 1 picnic table? We decided to bring it home to eat. The result was a slightly less than warm roll, but the FLAVAH! Delicious and the chips were good too. Anything Lobster is a bit of a splurge but very worth it!

Everything there is fresh - boat to table! Cooking and prepping on all on site! We were told the lobsters were cooked at 3am this morning! That's fresh. We had our lobster rolls with butter but they also offer with mayo. The buns were nicely toasted setved with homade chips! The lobster meat, just stop there, tail, claws, all parts, and so much of it! Well worth every dollar we paid! There were lobsters in the tank and when one of the staff members pulled out one for photos ops! It was so fun! Very nice and friendly staff. It shows they are family (two families) owned and runned! Our meals came out faster than expected and we're brought out to our chairs. They have a good selection of wines and beers! Great place for lunch or picking up items for dinner at home! If you are any where near Marblehead, make sure yo stop of for lobster rolls at The Little Harbor Lobster Company.
