Wow! Spexton is amazing!!! My husband was left speechless with Spexton customer service. We placed an order on Etsy, which we weren't to sure about, but my husband loved a ring that was on the Spexton site. We ordered a ring a week before our wedding which we knew made it difficult to receive the ring on time. Nate emailed my husband on the Wednesday before our wedding, he had sent us messages on Etsy but we had used a guest checkout account on Etsy and made a mistake on the email that Nate caught and decided to email my husband directly. Nate mentioned their policy in the email that my husband missed which stated the ring would take 3-4 weeks to create and shipping time. Nate understood the urgency and said he would attempt to expedite my husbands ring. We received an email that afternoon that they had had enough time to make my husbands ring and had shipped it out for overnight shipping. We actually found my fiance's ring on Pinterest and as we researched further we realized the ring was handmade in Tulsa, OK, at Spexton. After reading some phenomenal reviews on Yelp, we decided to take the road trip from Dallas to Tulsa to see if the wedding bands would live up to their reviews. I called ahead to let them know we were coming from Dallas and they made an appointment for us, making sure we were taken care of since we were driving so far. When we arrived, Nathan and Steve greeted us immediately knowing we were the couple that drove four hours to check out their store. They even provided mimosas -- a sure way to our hearts! They fully explained each material they incorporate into their rings and how the overall design process works. My fiance chose a black zirconium ring with a rose gold accent. It is absolutely stunning! The quality, look and feel of these rings blew my mind and it's so nice to know we are supporting a small local business. Not only did they let us take our time choosing and answering all of our questions, at the end of our appointment they made sure we had a list of all the hot bars and restaurants in the area to check out while we were in town. That is going above and beyond in my book -- we appreciated it so much. AND to top it all off -- before we left, they asked to clean my engagement ring. Again going above and beyond what I expected. Spexton reps guided me through how to pick the right metal and got the ring to me much before the day they promised I would have it by! They made a video validating the ring specs that I will definitely be saving as a memoir. They also suggested I get an additional tungsten ring for $50 in addition to the Zirconium ring for my husband to wear when he goes to the gym or works outside - which was a great idea! My only disappointment is that I ordered a 10mm Black Zirconium with Rose Gold Inlay ring which is broader than the normal 6mm-8mm rings for men. I expected the rose gold inlay to be proportional to the width increase. I can hardly see the rose gold on the ring right now. In fact, the inlay seems thinner than it should even on a 6mm ring. I called about this concern and was told that the inlay width cannot be changed at all. read more

Completely disappointed. I began my search for a jeweller in August of 2017 due to planning my proposal for Janary 2017. As i was searching online, on Etsy I came across Spexton. They have amazing reviews on Etsy and I liked the pieces they hand and price. When i went on their website, it was not listing similar items as on their Etsy so i decided to reach out in an email. I included when my proposal was, my budget, and just some reference photos (normally this would help to narrow down options). I specifically stated in my email, that i was open to ANY AND ALL IDEAS. Now i emailed on a Thursday so i figure call in on the coming Monday if i got no response. I recieved no response so i left a very detailed voicemail about my email. 2 days later I still go no call back, so I called again. I was able to reach someone for their online ordering whom stated they sent my email to Nathan, the lead jewelry designer. At this point, there was already a huge lack of customer service but i decided I really liked their designs why not still try. I was also told by the young lady on the phone Nathan was bad at emailing back. So... here goes another week, and i email a follow up, to my 3 previous times at reaching out. This time, i got a fairly quick response from Kayla stating unfortunately Spexton does not do the designs I requested, and referred me to someone else. I emailed back re-explaining I did not have a specfic design and was open to any and all ideas, and how I had such a desire to purchase jewelry from them. With being out of state, its a bit difficult to go into a store for assistant. After my final, basically pleading email, I got no response. For a business to feel it can spare new business so quickly, shrug off, and disregard people is not a business I want to work with. The lack of communication and professionalism was beyond disappointing and I have looked else where for my special occassion. Wheter it be they are too busy, or they couldnt work with my budget (They had pieces on Etsy in my budget), or because I mentioned I was in a same sex relationship, work on your customer service and treatment to customers. read more

I went into Spextons yesterday with a dead watch battery and the back of my watch had been glued shut by the previous shop who had changed the battery. Earlier that day I had taken the watch to a different shop who couldn't get it open. Spextons was so nice and welcoming to me and got the back off with no problem. I purchased a pair of 1/3 Karat diamond stud earrings for $700 a couple of days before Christmas. They were supposedly natural diamonds set in white gold. A few days after wearing them I started itching at the piercing site...just like the kind of allergy that one gets when wearing cheap, plated earrings. I ended up removing them, held a magnet to them and they were extremely magnetic!! As everyone knows, real good is NOT magnetic!!! I immediately returned them!
