We're especially fond of the nice folks behind the deli counter. Our complaints are about the same: the prices hover on the high side. The prices are generally quite a bit higher than the nearby Stop and Shop, but honestly, the quality of their locally produced items is far higher. Still, if you're buying some basics like soup or milk, you'll pay more here, and some prices can be really way up there. Sometimes we're frustrated by that, other times we're grateful to find some delicious fresh fish or prepared salads. Bantam is not our first market of choice, but we're here regularly for some things we like and want.

I…read morejust wanted a drink before my meeting and saw through the glass a soda fridge and only saw the sign that's apparently for next door (some sorta package store). I walked in and was immediately impressed with smell and looked around and noticed what exactly I walked into. I had to come back after my meeting and try a sausage breakfast sandwich and that was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. The staff is really kind and they make (so far) the best breakfast sandwich in Middletown. I recommend this place to anyone looking to try something good and new and im glad my happy little accident opened me up to a new breakfast/lunch spot
