Great hot bar. Lots of sales. A great small market. I shop here almost everyday. They bake thier own bread,muffins and rolls.

Fresh food as in sushi, fried chicken, sides, and tooo much in the hot food area. Prices were a lot less and my favorites. Nice staff and helpful. Quaint grocery store. read more

Most things are above par at LaBonne's Watertown, but the deli is consistently far below. They have no idea how meat should be sliced. Ordered Boars Head deluxe ham and bologna, both sliced thin. Bologna sliced so thin was basically a lump of meat. Ham was sliced in wrong direction and thick, causing stringy inedible mess. read more

The tray was delivered on time and received many compliments on presentation details and freshness of meats, lettuce/tomato tray and rolls. The staff here is always very nice. This is truly a hometown market. The hot food bar is the only real negative. The food is often bland, tasteless, and boring. Other local grocery stores, like the store in Middlebury, have better selections of food and they taste a lot better. It may be time to change up some recipes or possibly get a new chef who can actually season food. read more

My only experience here has been a good one. I called earlier in the morning to order some breakfast sandwiches for a meeting. When I got there they had them ready. Even better, they had them labeled so there would be no confusion. The pricing was good compared to all the fast food chains in the area. Why wouldn't you get a fresh breakfast sandwich for the same price as fast food? The staff in the deli end at the register were both friendly and helpful. I got bacon egg and cheese with avocado on a roll. It was warm enough so the cheese melted and every bite was blended with the egg cheese and avocado. The bacon was extra crispy just the way I like it. They also have a full service supermarket. They are a family owned business that has been around for a very long time. I want to say over 100 years, but I can't remember exactly. I was reading something in the store that gave the whole history and how they evolved into the supermarket they became. I am ALWAYS running late - this is my Friday posting for #thankyouthursday! LaBonne's is a lovely market that has fresh (many local) offerings at fair prices. They also have wonderful catering and meal delivery. The family meals are the perfect gift for a family enduring challenging times who may not have the time to prepare homemade meals every night. I recall 2008, spending two months traveling back and forth to the Yale NICU to watch my premature daughter grow. My husband and I were so very grateful to those who gifted us with the meal delivery from LaBonne's. We could select the night we wanted our meal to be delivered based upon their weekly menu. The food was delivered hot, plentiful, and delicious. It felt like home. Thank you LaBonne's! Also - their current hours (per the sign posted today) are 7AM-8PM (I believe this is an hour earlier than usual - just an FYI). read more

LaBonne's is our neighborhood grocery store but they are much more than just a store with groceries. Their staff has become like family always so friendly and welcoming you back to the store. You can tell that their staff genuinely enjoy working their & working with the customers. Most recently we ordered several trays of food from their deli/catering department and everything was delicious. They have a great catering book which clearly outlines everything offered with pricing which you don't find all over, nothing is a surprise. They also deliver their catering orders for a very low price of $10 which can't be beat. During the holidays they also offer complete holiday meals catered which saves you a lot of stress and no clean up. Highly recommend checking out their catering department. read more

With the volatile prices of food in the last 3 years, LaBonnes has provided fresh produce, dairy and meat selection. Staff is attentive but many items were still marked way above market (Mayo at 7.00 as I recall) which was disappointing. I love the post office services offered by CS and that there are always cashiers available. Pls don't revert to auto checkout which deprives youth of job experience and makes for an impersonal experience. As a clinician, these interactions are needed in our digital world and are important social contacts, albeit brief! read more

Not like any other IGA store in the area. Ordered a holiday roast, knowing it wouldn't be cheap. Ended up paying $100+ for a -7 pound semi boneless rib roast! When I asked for my senior discount I was informed that the roast did not qualify because the $100+ was a sales price! read more

This place is amazing! I was told to stop in here many times by co-workers and family alike. Finally got the chance and wow was I surprised. It is not your usual IGA. The place was loaded with sales, organic (and yes a big Gluten Free section) foods, and amazing desserts. They have everything from name brand to private IGA brand and even some local foods (saw some cakes that I have never seen before and some "Locally grown" apples at the front door). This place is a must for anyone in the area who needs groceries or something to bring to a special occasion. Parking is rough, but the whole plaza has that issue. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a random animatronic cow in the back of the store near the dairy isle that moos when you press a button. Strangely enough there is a post office located directly in the middle of the store. Doesn't really mean anything, but I figured I would mention it. read more

We received a breakfast basket this morning. It was beautiful, impressive, and had everything you could imagine in it, I will be proud to send one of these baskets to anyone. That said, it took 5 days to be delivered to our house which is 5 minutes from the store. The sender happened to ask my husband if we'd received the basket which is how I found out about it. I've shopped a Labonne's occasionally over the years but only tried their catering this last weekend. I usually use another caterer for bigger parties, but I needed small amount of food for a small dinner party of only about 15 people. I ordered chicken francaise, spiral ham, roasted potatoes, and green beans almondine. It was all very delicious, especially the ham. Service was polite and prompt. read more

I'm not going to waste your time and pretend that I'm like 100% loyal to this place and am fully committed to the shopping at locally owned businesses thing. I mean I try, and I'm okay at it. But the bottom line is the bottom line, and places like this can't compete with the prices or selection at Stop and Stop, for obvious reasons. When we do our "major" weekly shopping it's always at Stop and Shop, but for everything else like small last minute stuff or weekend football snacks or a quick lunch, it will 100% of the time be here. The place is great and the deli and hot bar has some of the best offerings we've had. Grinders, wings, wraps, sides, all amazing and never been disappointed. The service has always been right on point and we've never had an issue getting in and out quickly. Hopefully this place stays in business in spite of it's close proximity to big brother, it's really an amazing local store. And spoiler alert: The Sushi is actually pretty good! read more

My family has enjoyed their daily catering menu a number of times. Our favorite is the fried chicken, but the roast turkey and roast beef are also favorite options. The food is always fresh and hot, whether we pick it up,or enjoy their delivery option. I would LOVE to have their salad dressing recipe! The gift of meal delivery is our "go-to" for families with new babies or families suffering the loss of a loved one. I love this store. I bought the most delicious chicken salad sandwich today for only $5.00! Everything is so fresh. The people working at LaBonnes are very friendly and treat you like their neighbor.
