If you have a more in depth question he will just google it, he doesn't know what he's talking about. The store is disgusting and hasn't been mopped or cleaned since being taken over which is evident by all of the dust and dirt on the bottles (don't ask about the bathrooms). If you order delivery from the store directly or on the app, any tip you leave for the driver that isn't cash goes straight to the owners pocket. Prices have gone up steadily and will continue to rise conveniently in time for the summer. The "company car" that the tip-less drivers are provided with has the ABS lights on (and yes the breaks are awful) and a slew of other safety issues that would fail a real inspection in 3 minutes. The alternative is to put miles on your own car for minimal compensation. These past reviews are out of date and do a VERY poor job of representing the current state of this store. Everything that made Seaside worth going to is gone. Prices are higher, anyone with any real knowledge of the product is gone, and delivery times will be higher as there is only one POS car to go from Massapequa to Freeport. Unless you're coming in specifically for tequila, (the tequila section is still good) just shop at Total Wine.

When you were checked in, you also received a $20 coupon for whatever you wanted to buy from the store, good that night, so everybody pretty much took home a free bottle. The place was mobbed, and the tasting area was the size and general shape of a boxing ring. However, everybody was having fun - especially the people pouring. Win/Win/Win! This included a wooden barrier with a hole to speak into, a rotating wooden delivery system that you can put payment into, and after they process will give it back to you with the items you choose. They are in good spirits, and will help you choose what you need. They wear gloves and masks, and speak to you over the speaker system they have created. I felt like I was getting it for less than distributors charge. They have a fridge with chilled wines, which are very convenient when you need to grab something last minute to bring to a party or just on your way home to enjoy. They have a good selection of mini alcohols too, which I've used for party favors before. The staff is very nice and willing to help if you need or leave you alone to browse. If you tell them a bottle is a gift they'll put it in a nicer bag and add ribbon for you. I seen signs for wine tastings, usually 4-7 pm, a few times a month.
