I went there once and it was very deep pressure and I had an issue after that so I decided to check on the license and they will not give out the information. The person said that they only do deep pressure, fyi. You cannot check the information by business name with LARA. A real massage therapist and owner should have no problem giving out this info. They are required to post it in the office as well, so if you choose to go here, ask to see it and see if it looks like it was printed on their home computer. The cost is not cheap enough to deal with the person constantly interrupting your massage to answer the phone and the door, and the tips on the charge device start at 25% You may as well schedule ahead with a real spa.

She has the rare ability to intuitively know where the tension is in my body and work to release it and bring balance. I leave each session feeling lighter. I'm a runner, and I've also visited her after particularly long training sessions and she does a great runners massage as well. I think deep tissue is Donnell's specialty, and that's all I've ever asked for. She applies a good amount of pressure without it being too much. She's located within Hair Innovations and Day Spa, and the room she holds massages in is nice, comfortable and quiet. Unlike some massage therapists I've visited, Donnell gives you the full hour on the table (she doesn't count the time she takes to talk to you about how you're feeling both before and after the massage). As far as price, she's comparable to most spas, and frequently has discounts and promotions. For the level of service and quality of massage it's well worth it.

However, after I purchased them, she told me that I was supposed to be using them bi-weekly. I wouldn't have bought them if that were the case, so I reminded her that she told me I had 6 months to use them. She told me she didn't remember that, acted annoyed, but then begrudgingly said she would go with the "6 month rule." In December, I texted Deb Ward an hour before our scheduled appointment and she told me she was sick. I found it odd that she didn't reach out to me to let me know, but scheduled a massage for the following week. She did the exact same thing again. She knew I would be out of town for the entire month of January on my honeymoon, so I told her I'd schedule one for February when I returned. I got my 5th massage in February and then it all went downhill. She told me that I had to get my last massage (within a week and a half) or else it wouldn't count for my massage package because my 6 months expired at the end of February. I told her I'd be out of town and I again reminded her that I would have had my package completed if she hadn't canceled on me twice in December. Therefore, I believe I deserved some lenience on that February deadline since it wasn't my fault that the massages weren't completed. She flipped out on me and sent me rude text messages. I was very offended and decided it would be best to call her, since clearly texting is unprofessional and miscommunication is very common. I called her. She ignored my call. Then she immediately texted me saying that she wouldn't talk to me because there was "nothing to discuss." She can have my $55. I am beyond appalled and, honestly, confused as to why a "professional" woman would be so terribly rude and immature. You have been warned if you decide to begin a "professional" relationship with Deb Ward.
