My daughter "suddenly needed" several more visits over the next two weeks, so by the time I'd realized we were lied to and got the Ins. denial - a month later- we were already taken for a ride for 4 visits at 100% out of pocket. When I contacted my insurance, AETNA had said they weren't with Wooten and hadn't been for 9 YEARS !!?? Yet, when I asked the Wooten staff prior to service I was told YES ...AND A COPY OF MY INS. CARD was made!!( Another chance for them to see the Ins. company Name). They'll get you to sign the "Financial Responsibility Sheet" upon arrival and then you are truly on your own after several visits are "recommended" over the next 2 weeks. When I contacted them (several times) about the bill and DECEPTIVE practices, no resolution or discount was offered. I was told to "Blame Obama...He messed things up" !!?? Unbelievable!!! ??... Obama didn't lie to me or rush me in for several visits before I got a bill. In a day and age of questionable health insurance laws/excessive denials, now there are treatment centers exploiting the public. Proceed with caution..........

At the conclusion of my diagnosis several prescriptions were sent to my pharmacy and she gave me specific instructions on when and how to take them plus additional recommendations. She also followed up later in the week and added another prescription. I was really favorably impressed with her effort to relieve my symptoms.

I was on vacation in Bridgman, MI when my lower back "went out" and, besides that pain, I had…read moresciatica down the front of my leg. I could barely walk my dog and certainly couldn't walk on the beach. I used Yelp to find a chiropractor and Guthrie Family Chiropractic came up in Stevensville, a neighboring town. There were no reviews so I was very nervous about going there. But my vacation was being ruined so I took a chance. I got a same day appointment with Brett, the chiropractor and, Brandy, the massage therapist. Brett worked on me for about 15 minutes and then, taking Brett's diagnosis into consideration, Brandy gave me a 1-hour massage. It was a miracle! I walked out of there feeling 100% cured! And I remained 100% cured throughout my vacation and have not had the pain or the sciatica since. The treatment was very reasonable in cost (I'm used to Chicago prices) and Brett and Brandy were conscientious, effective and friendly. This place should have many good reviews on Yelp!
