He explained the different rental options (4 month vs. 10 month) and filled out the appropriate paperwork for the rental agreement. He was extremely enthusiastic and knew how to talk to someone (myself) that knew nothing about musical instruments. This is a home town shop with a little cafe inside. There's a little bit of organized chaos throughout the place but that's what you'd expect and it adds to the charm.

I haven't done something like this since I was in the 8th grade and it was So Much Fun to be on the stage again! Director/Music Director Liz Muller has done such an amazing job and it was so awesome to meet her! Keep your eyes on her! She is a total rising star. As are the talented cast and crew! The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a musical comedy with music and lyrics by William Finn, with a book written by Rachel Sheinkin, conceived by Rebecca Feldman with additional material by Jay Reiss. The show centers on a fictional spelling bee set in a geographically ambiguous Putnam Valley Middle School. The theater was awesome setup with tables, cabaret style. You can bring in outside food and drink and it was so fun and entertaining all while having dinner. Can't wait for the next show there!

Tangredi Music has been great for our family! While not initially musically-included, our son…read moreadmired his uncle's drum skills and decided he'd give it a try. Andre was teaching the uncle already, so it was an easy decision to ask him to teach our son too. Within weeks we had a second drummer in the family! Now a couple years into it and our son is still at it and learning more every week. Andre always brings enthusiasm to the instruction and encouragement after each session too. He's been fun for us to work with, always flexible when we need that, and 100% positive experience all-around! I'd highly recommend giving a lesson a try.

The actors were of all ages and whether pre-teen, much older or in between, they were all quite captivating and very believable. I will most definitely be visiting and enjoying more of their productions. The staff are very nice and welcoming to all that attended. It was a privilege to watch their interactions with the children, as well as with the adults.

I was a piano student at Edgewood from elementary school all the way until my high school…read moregraduation. While I disliked practicing at home, I fully appreciate the valuable lessons learned at Edgewood. Edgewood Music Studio employs extremely talented and knowledgeable teachers who work well in identifying student's weaknesses and develop techniques in order to help improve them. The teachers are extremely flexible in scheduling. In the nine years I went there, I rarely had a canceled lesson, and in the event my teacher could not be there, a suitable substitute was available. The director, Joan (who was also my teacher), holds lessons at her house. In addition to an annual recital, we had regular master classes so we could socialize with other students and hear them play. Joan pushes her students to the best of their abilities (we had to memorize our recital pieces). Joan did a great job in customizing a lesson plan with me. I started off with the Alfred Music books, which were divided into levels (1A/1B through 6). Each level progressively got more challenging. Once the I learned basic concepts in different styles of music, a classical component was introduced, and I was given more chord and note exercises to improve technique (I did Hanon's Virtuoso Pianist in 60 Exercises, which got more challenging each week). Students were also required to complete weekly theory exercises in order to retain new concepts.

Although the name is Violin shop, he is currently making and repairing cellos as well! Aside from its coziness, Kevin's shop offers a unique experience. Personalized set up of rental instrument was almost a shock as rental price is very competitive. I was renting from a big company before but have decides to rent from this shop for acute set up and customer service. I do not regret.
