Having a good connection with your Physical is a plus. I take that perspective a bit further in acknowledging the patient care team who ultimately makes the Physical & the practice successful. Eyana (Business Manager), Brianna (RN) & Latisha (Front Desk) really worked well together ensuring the patients were cared for & in a timely manner. There's another location in Sandy Springs where they offer the same scope of services - care plans for nasal congestion, breathing issues, facial pain, sleep apnea & administers allergy/flu shots. Aside from the nonsurgical treatments the practice also performs minimally invasive surgeries for in-office for patient convenience. I took an updated allergy test & got some really good insight from Dr. McKean who interacts more conversational as opposed to medical textbook Q&A. My son has Graves Disease & I passed along Dr. McKean's information as I was well impressed with my care & treatment options.

It's been six months post surgery and I haven't had one sinus infection ( pre-surgery and I can smell food and taste wine again. I would have close to 5 major sinus infections a year for the past 15 yrs). I can breath, I can blow my nose and actually clear my sinuses. What really sold it for me; when I was waiting to have the procedure done, another medical practitioner from outside of the office stated that if he had to have polyps removed and balloon sinuplasty done, Dr. Young H. An is the one he would choose. This individual worked with all of the ENT specialists in the region.

I had my nose job 2.5 years ago and I cosmetically, it looks way better than I could have imagined. Functionally, it is the breathing that I never had out of my nose. I have a low pain tolerance and was given medication and didn't need it because of how gentle he was in the operating room. He is very patient, kind, and explains everything he is doing and his reasoning. His office staff is extremely responsive and helpful! He is an absolute perfectionist! I do not trust anyone for ENT/ENT Plastic surgery inquiries except for Dr. Orr. He makes you feel very comfortable and is up to date with the current techniques in the field. She squeezed me in the morning I called because I had a middle ear infection. My experience with Dr. Orr, however, was terrible. Upon entering the medical room, an assistant recorded my medical history and then informed me that he was going to gas my sinuses with an anti/inflammatory/analgesic to make viewing them easier. I was reluctant, given that i had yet to talk to the doctor, but consented anyhow. After being administered said gassing, I repeatedly felt as if I was going to pass out despite the fact that I was lying down in a chair. The stuff also made me feel utterly senile. The doctor came in, scoped my sinuses and looked in my ears. Despite the fact that an hour prior to arriving at his office my ears were discharging blood due to painful popping blisters, he told me that everything looked completely normal except for the presence of tremendous pressure in my eustachian tubes. When telling him that I felt like I was going to pass out, he elevated my feet above my head in the chair and that was helpful. When getting out of the chair, i expressed that I was very dizzy and faint feeling and he just hurried out, telling me it was a vaso-vagal response. I basically spent $300 for a doctor to gas me with stupid juice, look at me for fifteen minutes, and refer me to an allergist despite the obvious presence of an acute and painful infection. He did not image my middle and inner ear, which was the entire reason I went to his office. If treating my medical predicament did not interest him, he should have spared me the $300. I have little money and no insurance and was treated as such. In summary, I paid for a service, had a legitimate illness ignored, and was talked to like I was stupid and a waste of time.

The charge was the same, and I was required to pay in full before being seen. Unfortunately, my issue was not resolved during that visit. I later went to an urgent care clinic, where a physician who was not an ENT specialist was able to diagnose and resolve the problem. What was most disappointing was that several months later I was contacted by a collection agency claiming I had an unpaid balance from Buckhead ENT, even though I had paid the amount requested at the time of my visit. This was both surprising and frustrating. My experience left me disappointed with both the care I received and the billing process. I hope the practice improves its communication regarding provider availability and billing issues.

I paid cash for the visit at the time I saw Dr. Dockery. I asked what the office visit charge would be when I made the appointment and I was told it was $320. I was told again the office visit fee was $320 when I arrived for the appointment as well. I paid that amount along with the an additional $325 for the scope procedure that Dr. Dockery performed during my visit. At no time before, during or after the visit was I told that the office visit fee would be nearly double the $320 I was originally quoted. Therefore, I am mystified why I am receiving invoices showing an office visit fee of $625 and an amount owed of $305. I paid the amounts requested prior to seeing Dr. Dockery. If the office visit fee was going to be $700+ that is what I should have been told when I made the appointment, or when I was standing in the office. It is unacceptable that after I've been seen the fee be nearly doubled. I called the office the day I received the first invoice from Dr. Dockery and left a voicemail regarding this additional charge. That call was not return until I sent a letter complaining about the deceptive billing practices. In good faith, I paid what was requested prior to my visit with the doctor. Now I'm being told that the office visit is double the amount that was quoted on three different occasions. That is a deceptive business practice. Someone claiming to be from Dr. Dockery's office supposedly the office manager promised this charge would be adjusted months ago. I received the THIRD bill in the mail today, so like I said his staff is incompetent. The total amount of my ONE OFFICE VISIT was $950. $950 for incompetence and deception. Save yourself the aggravation and don't go see this doctor unless you have money to burn. I have reported this office to the Better Business Bureau and intend to also report them to the Attorney General.
