Dr. Sulaiman (infectious disease) sent a referral to David Redding at Redding Allergy and Asthma Group on 11-24-25 for an immunology work up. They lost the first referral and it was resent! The office would not let me make an appointment until David reviewed the referral. I waited 4 weeks for them to contact me. No response, I called on 12-23-25 and was told by Haley (who answered the phone) David decided not to take me as a patient (I'm assuming my case was too complicated for him). I spoke to Laura (I think was the nurse) asking for a date David sent back the referral to Dr. Sulaiman, Haley and Laura, both told me they have no record of sending the referral back! Dr. Sulaiman would have contacted me ASAP as he is the kind of doctor that does not ignore any medical issues! I have no problem with David not wanting to take my case (at this point I surely don't want to be a patient of theirs) but do have a problem that no one from his office contacting me to inform me of his decision! read more

I read the reviews after I made an appointment here for my teen. I came in the door with no preconceived ideas. In saying that, I could not be more satisfied with the care and attention provided. Dr.Redding was attentive and delightfully pleasant. He asked great questions in order to fully assess my daughter's condition. He modified her prescriptions, which I thought was a great idea since the previous regiment (from a different doctor) did not control her asthma and allergies. Dr. A. Redding was dismissive of my issues and concerns. He ignored me and typed on the computer. He told me that increased and more frequent allergic reactions are not connected to hormone changes in perimenopause, which shows a remarkable and disappointing lack of knowledge. I told a nurse practitioner about the visit and showed her the same photos I showed Dr. Redding and she immediately wrote a Rx for an Epi-pen. I shared this on Google reviews but posting here as well. Very thankful for their help: They were really great. I try to have a healthy skepticism at places, but felt like they really cared about me. I came in for a food allergy test to rule out an abdominal issue on the off-chance allergies were affecting me and even though the purpose of the visit was focused on allergies, they took so much time to really understand the other issue I was having. Dr Alan provided not just feedback on my allergy test results, but thoughts on my other tests and current path, which was really unexpected and helpful having that additional medical perspective. He's also the doctor that has spent probably the most time talking to me before and even said to keep him updated on my condition. It's honestly been a really tough year with that stuff so appreciated that and I really appreciated Beth who administered the test too not just asking, but really empathizing with me. We had a terrible experience with Dr. Redding for our 10 month old baby's allergy appointment. The moment he walked in, he sat down in front of the computer with his back towards us, and typed away for about 10 mins. He asked us maybe three questions before prescribing us a generic steroid cream. I asked whether what I eat could affect my daughter's allergies since I am nursing her. He said he's never heard of that, proceeded to Google it, and then again say that is false information. As we were leaving, he asked if we're Korean and then made a stereotypical comment about our race. And in the end, they charged us the maximum amount for my daughter's appointment. I cannot say enough good things about this practice! I had been living with chronic hives for 3-4 months before I found Dr. Redding. I'd been to three different doctors and tried every remedy I could find with no results. I was miserable and defeated. Then I found David Redding. Dr. Redding has spent the last year working with me to control my hives with allergy shots and medication. He is attentive, patient, and enormously kind. He spends so much time answering my questions, reviewing random medical literature I bring in (yes, I'm THAT patient), brainstorming treatment ideas, and explaining next steps. He's helped me get my condition under control (and helped ensure the medication I need is affordable). But Dr. Redding is just part of this practice: his office staff, nurses, and assistants are the best people around. These women are so lovely and wonderful! His nurses are very responsive and caring. The staff coached me daily through Covid and answered all of questions right away without making me feel like a nuisance at all. An absolute waste of money for me! My visit here is my first AND last. I came here after already having seen my primary care doctor and dermatologist for month-long itching on my back -- neither knew the cause. All A. Redding did was check my back for hives -- which was very obvious I didn't have anyways. I have been dealing with breakouts of rashes for several months and I had visited both my primary care physician and 2 dermatologists. Needless to say, I was really hoping that my visit to Redding Allergy would find a solution to my issue. The service was prompt and after the nurse took my vitals and pertinent information, I met David Redding. He took his time to look over my skin and I never felt as if he was rushed. What really set apart this visit was that he didn't assume anything so he could move on to the next patient. Instead, he suspected what the issue could be but brought in his brother Alan to take a look at my skin and see if the condition was what he believed it to be, and he brought in the nurse to see what it looked like. David knew that the itching was detracting from my way of life so instead of telling me to go see a dermatologist, he called one that he trusted to see if they were available to see me immediately. Because of his willingness to go over and above, I was able to make an appointment from his office for the next morning at the dermatologist. The dermatologist confirmed my condition and put me on a regimen for a complete cure. All in all, David spent well over an hour with me listening to my symptoms and challenges and helping diagnose the condition. The care that I experienced at Redding was exceptional. Even specific to this condition, the two dermatologist and primary care physician visits were rushed and systematic. Here, I felt comfortable and Dr. Redding made me at ease. Dr. Redding and his staff never fail to provide exemplary care. Everyone is friendly, efficient, and accommodating. I've never waited more than ten minutes to be seen for an appointment! I always feel comfortable during my visits here, which says a lot because I am not a fan of needles and my primary reason for going in is to receive allergy shots. His office assistants know that I'm a bit squeamish, and they are great about distracting me from the stress that the shots would otherwise bring on. My primary care doctor was concerned about the number of antibiotics I was 'allergic' to, so referred me to Dr. David Redding for testing. We did the testing to check these allergies and I was not allergic at all! We realized that over the years, doctors assumed that a rash occurring around the time I was taking an antibiotic was a drug allergy. But it wasn't; I have chronic hives! Under his treatments, the outbreaks slowly decreased and I haven't had any for about 18 months now. It is a new life. Yesterday, I received a notice from my insurance that payment for my treatments have been cancelled. Of course, I was upset. This morning I called the office to see what to do and their staff had already taken care of the problem! They received the notice before I did and took care of it yesterday! There is little need to say more. This practice is just that wonderful. Every person I've met have been the best anyone could to ever see. They take their time, but are efficient. I was having the worst sinus issues of my life. Using the netti pot every day multiple times a day. Blowing my nose like crazy thick phlegm in my throat felt like it was trying to choke and and I had problems swallowing because of it. Well long story short I went to Dr Redding because I was tired of living that way and I was prepared mentally for going through a series of allergy shots and even possibly surgery. I had already self diagnosed myself as having nasal polyps. I decided to go to Redding because of their reviews. I can attest to the fact that they are exactly right. The staff is friendly and both doctors are knowledgeable and incredibly patient focused. Appointments are easy to make and the office wait times are minimal. I saw Dr. Alan Redding and my husband saw Dr. David Redding. I had several reactions after my allergy shots while in their care. The doctor and nurse were great, calmed me, and help alleviate my worries. After moving out of state, I had a reaction after an allergy shot. It was similar to ones I had in Atlanta, where Dr. Redding's office advised me calmly and effectively. In the new practice, they emphasized that I was possibly going to die and needed to go to an ER immediately. Instead, I saw an urgent care doctor who pretty much laughed and said I was fine with the extra dose of allergy medication. Dr. Redding is an extremely caring physician and competent beyond measure. I am so happy that I chose this place after reading other good reviews! The staff was extremely friendly and made me feel perfectly comfortable. I was a little worried considering I don't have insurance, but they were very aware and careful not to do unnecessary testing or prescribe unnecessary medications. After struggling with chronic hives for months and giving up hope that it would ever stop, I finally see a light at the end of the tunnel! I feel assured and happy that I now have a couple options to help me. I usually avoid the doctor because it feels so impersonal and like no one listens, but that was not the case with Dr. Redding. Visited the location for what multiple doctors presumed as an allergic reaction to something. Although I was early for my appointment, I waited for over 45 minutes to see one of the doctors. When he finally came to the room, he appeared to be nervous and not focused. He appeared to listen to my concerns however when he examined me, he took a brief look in my nose and an even shorter look in my ears even though my complaint was with my ears and throat pain (didn't even look in my mouth). He eluded to me having an STD after I began asking questions and told him about a rash I get each Spring season or when the weather change. When I asked him about the word I couldn't pronounce, he had to Google what he believed the rash was and the results did not look anything like the dry spot I had on my arm and face. I felt completely embarrassed and would never recommend this doctor or anyone to this office. I'm still not sure what issue he had with me. It could be anything at this point. I am black, female and gender nonconforming (I wear male clothing). He gave me a referral to a primary care doctor after he mentioned that my issue could be due to an STD. I've been married for over 5 years and although I don't have a personal Primary Care doctor, I do not have an STD because I still tested. I don't have a PCP because of this very reason, DOCTORS are UNCOMFORTABLE with gender nonconforming people. You do know that it's only cloths and if it's because I'm black, I wish businesses could just say that you don't accept black people at your practice so people like me can stay away. I ended up spending over $350 for a allergy test and office visit for bad service and the most uncomfortable feeling. Lastly it was recommended to keep my shirt off for him to check the allergy test after he left the room, he walked out abruptly and left the door open. I was so confused... The only reason this review has one star is because the front desk and nurse were very kind and nice. read more
